Ordered two linen t shirts which I had high hopes for. Sadly had to return them as they were scratchy , stiff, practically see through (navy and dark lime green) and not as cool against the skin as I had hoped for. Honestly I have bought better quality from Amazon Essentials and M&S at a fraction of the price. Very disappointed as I have previously bought a winter sweater which was beautiful.

I bought three linen tops which I did love to wear but each top, even though I washed so carefully, developed holes quite quickly.

Have just received a beautiful yellow linen dress that was reduced to £99.00. The linen is good quality, heavy, prewashed, opaque in sunlight, hangs well and fits loosely. Perfect for our Scottish heatwave! I suspect I shall wear it rarely in Scotland but continuously on holiday.

I was so excited to get my clothes from Poetry—I'd finally given in to the higher pricing—but the jackets and dress .... turned out to be just okay. I was so disappointed. The fabric quality was okay, and the returns were impossible. Bummed :(

I bought one item as a present and then I get bombarded with multiple different branded catalogues that are clearly from close associates. You unsubscribe from one and then another appears with much the same offering under a different brand. It’s an awful waste and makes you really question what kind of markup goes into the offering in the first place.

I have 3 shirts from Poetry that have become oddly faded/discolored over time. While these shirts are not new there is no reason for this to have happened to them. Laundry directions have been followed and yet my grey shirts (2 totally different styles and fabrics) have weird pink discoloration and my light blue shirt are turning a sad grey. Poetry explained that it was bleach (it is not) and that there is nothing they can do for me. So I have $300 dollars of sad shirts that can’t be worn.

Never bought from them, somehow they’ve sent us a catalogue, tried to message them to get removed from their distribution list but in order to do so, I have to give them personal information - email address etc. Terrible approach to dealing with the public.

I recently purchased this item in Khaki Brown and thought for £350 it would be of good quality. Frankly, I was shocked. Despite having a detachable lining, strangely the hood was unlined and felt like a sheet!

It was poorly designed and the whole coat felt like cardboard - Buyer beware!!

Poetry is hit and miss. It's very expensive for what it is. I bought a top from them for £169. This is quite a lot of money for me to spend. It shrank on a 30 degree wash. I am so frustrated. I have bought other things that have been ok, but generally hit and miss.

Ich weiß nicht, warum ich immer wieder E-Mails von diesem Shop bekomme, obwohl ich dort nie eingekauft habe und mich auch nicht für deren E-Mail-Marketing angemeldet habe.

Hab mir den rosa lavendel farbenen Cardigan mit Frontreissverschluss in 42 bestellt. Hab mich schon vorher auf dieses Teil, nur wegen seiner Farbe, gefreut. Es kam heute an und ich bin sehr begeistert. Feinster Kaschmir und auch in der Größe sieht es einfach nur gut aus. Es hängt nicht labberich runter, sondern sitzt locker und es sehr wirkt edel und doch auch gleichzeitig lässig.
Kompliment an Poetry - gutes Händchen bei der Auswahl.

I rarely pay out this amount of money on a skirt but felt a good quality skirt of the style, size and colour would make it worthwhile. This wrap skirt was a wool/linen mix. It did have a nice cut and flow but the hem was already unravelling; it had not been quality checked. This, I now notice, has been an issue for the company before and I would ask them to seriously address their various quality control issues if they wish to maintain their reputation at this price bracket. The item was made in China. The Company rep reported to me that once I had sent it back to them it would be "recycled " or given to charity. Its so sad; all that it needed was someone local who could redo the hem. Id bagged the last skirt of this type made in my size so they could not replace it for me. I refused a suggested reduction in price (an unstipulated amount which they offered me after I told them I was writing on Trust pilot), on principle that if Im paying £200, I dont want all this hassle.

I bought four expensive dresses from Poetry Sloane Square. All wore appallingly. Looked great in the shop and once washed looked shabby and such poor quality.
Embarrassingly awful for the enormous amount they had cost.

Habe einen langen feigenbraunen Daunenmantel aus Baumwolle für fast 400 Euro gekauft. Insgesamt hat die Rechnung über 1000 Euro ausgemacht.

Leider hat sich nach dem Tragen herausgestellt, dass der Mantel alles anzieht was fliegt - sei es Staub oder andere Fluseln. Unmöglich.
Nach Kontaktaufnahme mit dem Kundenservice (die Dame mit der ich geschrieben habe war sehr nett und kann prinzipiell nichts dafür) wurde mir ausgerichtet, dass die Vorgesetzte meinte, dass es diverse Anti Statik Sprays geben würde und dass ich ihn einfach abwischen bzw. abrollen sollte.
Unmögliche Antwort - keine Ahnung, wer soviel Zeit hat, einen Mantel jedes Mal abzurollen wenn man ihn im Winter täglich nutzen will.
Weiters wurde mir vorgeschlagen, den Mantel über den Sommer in einem Kleidersack aufzubewahren.

Was den Staub und die Fluseln im Winter auch nicht wegzaubert.

Bin wirklich enttäuscht. Sehr sehr schade.

Ich habe bisher ausschließlich gute Erfahrungen mit Poetry gemacht.
Vor drei Jahren habe ich zum ersten Mal dort bestellt. Die Schnitte, das Material und die teilweise etwas weitere und kürzere Passform gefallen mir ausgesprochen gut, man findet sie nicht überall.

Zur Materialbeschreibung, etwa bei Kaschmir, kann ich natürlich keine professionelle Aussage treffen. Aber mein erster Kaschmirpullover, den ich vor drei Jahren gekauft habe, ist immer noch wunderbar weich und zeigt kaum Pilling – für mich ein Zeichen guter Qualität.

Auch der Service überzeugt: Ich konnte von Anfang an bequem auf Rechnung bestellen. Eine Reklamation zu einer Hanf-Baumwoll-Tunika, die sich nach der ersten Wäsche verzogen hatte, wurde völlig unkompliziert akzeptiert, und mir wurde der volle Betrag erstattet.

Insgesamt bin ich mit Poetry rundum zufrieden und bestelle immer wieder gerne dort.

I have not yet received my items after 13 days using 48 hours delivery and I have had such difficulty trying to get my package redelivered.

I received no notice that the royalmail/parcelforce had first attempted to delivery my items on the 16th and 17th of October (two days after I ordered). I was in the house during one of those days so I wonder if they really did attempt to deliver it. No card was left and no email was sent informing me that the attempted delivery had taken place.

I checked the tracking info the following week and arranged for a delivery on the 25th and waited in all day. Again, no attempted delivery, with this time the royalmail website is claiming my address was 'inaccessible'. Now, it won't give me an option to organise a new redelivery saying that I have already organised one and I should check an email.

The website says my parcel is at a local depot. I went to the local post office to try and figure it out, waiting in line for about 30-45 minutes. The person there told me it was at another location, which is only open from 8 am -10 am and is a 45 minute walk away. She also gave me a number. I called this number and it could not recognise my parcel number. I have now been on hold for 50 minutes and no answer. I am not sure if I should continue holding.

I had ordered these clothes for a work trip starting tomorrow- I have had skin cancer and need some protective lightweight clothing. I am really disappointed in what has happened. I am without clothing to protect me from the sun and will need to go out the night before my trip to find something else. I am especially disappointed after spending so much money on clothes that I would not normally spend so much money on and organising it way in advance. Such a lot of stress!

This may be a problem with a delivery company, rather than Poetry but they should definitely use another service to deliver their items. Avoid at all costs.

Nach erstmaligen schonenden Waschen hat sich
meine im Mai 2025 bei Poetry gekaufte Hanf/ Baumwolle/Jacke um ca. 2 Nuancen aufgehellt. Sie sieht nicht nur unschön aus, sie harmoniert auch nicht mehr mit dem passend erworbenen Shirt.
Pigmentgefärbtes soll nach einiger Zeit so aussehen, war die damit begründete Ablehnung der Reklamation. Die Artikel sind eher hochpreisig und das ist doppelt bitter.
Ich kaufe hin und wieder Artikel der Marke undauch ihrer Schwesternfirma Wrap London. An manchen Artikeln hat man lange Freude, manche sind spätestens nach einem 3/4 Jahr, trotz sorgsamster Pflege, unansehnlich in Stoffbild oder Farbe. Die Bekleidung ist gut designed und die Materialzusammensetzungen lesen sich vielversprechend. Leider passiert es wiederholt, dass nach dem Waschen oder einiger Tragezeit die Qualität leidet.
Wie auch dieses Mal. Es macht bestimmt keine Freude mit einer Reklamation anzuklopfen und noch weniger die teure Bekleidung nicht oder nur noch ungern zutragen.

I have been a very regular customer with Poetry Fashion for over 10 years. Each season a buy several items e.g. knitwear, shirts, tees, dresses, jackets etc. I find their designs timeless with a modern twist so easy to wear, don’t date but not stuffy! The colour ranges coordinate well over the seasons. The fabrics are very good quality natural fibres, with a good ranges of sizes for all. I buy online, the items arrive well packed, returns are easy and customer services have always been first class and I rarely need their assistance. Not necessarily cheap, but they off good value, quality and last. I have found their clothes look good, wash and ware well. They do have good sales offers too. All in all I have never used a clothing brand for so many years and found them so reliable. I find it easy to coordinate their clothes over the seasons and year on year, so that helps to build a wardrobe and adds value.
