New AI putter (Shout out to JJ)

I’ve been coming to this PGA store for over 7 years, and it never disappoints. JJ has always been fantastic—super knowledgeable and always helpful with recommendations and club suggestions. I picked up the Stealth driver around Christmas and just came back for the new AI putter. Great experience every time. Love this place!

A deeply disappointing first-lesson experience at PGA TOUR Superstore in Chandler

I booked an introductory golf lesson for my wife at the PGA TOUR Superstore in Chandler on Saturday, May 23, expecting a warm, welcoming experience for someone excited to learn the game. Instead, our family left feeling disrespected, uncomfortable, and completely dismissed.

The lesson was with Brian Crawford. From the moment we arrived at the teaching bay, his tone was abrupt and unprofessional. Rather than welcoming my wife or briefly explaining how the lesson would work, his first interaction with me and my children was: “First of all — OUT!” He then looked at me and asked, “What are we teaching her?”

I tried to explain what she hoped to accomplish and asked whether she might eventually need her own clubs. His response was, “Well, I don’t know. I haven’t even seen her swing yet.” The statement itself may have been reasonable; the dismissive tone was not. This was supposed to be an introductory lesson for a new golfer, not an interaction where her family was treated like an inconvenience.

I immediately brought my concerns to the front desk. Rather than listening and acknowledging how poorly the interaction began, the manager quickly defended the instructor by saying he was good and had never received complaints. I did not feel heard, and I did not feel the complaint was taken seriously.

What happened next made the experience even worse. During my wife’s lesson, Brian came out to speak to my children and said, “Wow kids, she is the best student that I have ever seen.” He then asked my daughter whether she had taught her mother to play. When my daughter explained that I had helped her mother up to that point, he responded, “Oh, don’t worry. I fixed all that your dad taught her.”

My daughter found the interaction uncomfortable and described it as creepy. I found it inappropriate and needlessly disrespectful, especially after I had already raised a concern about his manner with management.

I also observed what appeared to be a significant difference in the warmth and friendliness shown toward white customers compared with the way my family and another family of color were treated. I cannot speak to anyone’s intent, but the contrast was noticeable enough that it added to an already upsetting experience.

My wife went in excited for her first professional lesson. Instead of leaving encouraged and eager to return, our family left feeling unwelcome.

I regularly take lessons with Robert Macaluso at the PGA TOUR Superstore in Glendale and have always had an extremely positive experience there. Unfortunately, after this visit, I have no intention of returning to the Chandler location.

A beginner golf lesson should make someone feel welcomed into the sport. This experience did the exact opposite.

FRAUDULENT SALES

This is one of those reviews where you wish you could 0 or -100. I ordered a new $500 Ping driver as a graduation gift for my grandson which was a huge mistake!!! I received a used Ping driver that wasn't even in good condition!! The funny thing was I had ordered a couple $300 clubs of D**** Sporting Goods(apparently you can't post the name because it get flagged as inappropriate 😉)and was worried about the quality but they arrived the next day packaged securely with the heads still wrapped in factory plastic. What infuriates me is the Ping driver from PGA Tour Store wasn't only used but someone deliberately tried to hide the damage with touch up paint 🤬🤬🤬 I contacted customer service and explained this is a graduation gift for my grandson and they were supposed to get a new club to me "right away". What I did get was radio silence! I guess part of what makes me made is they have 2 stores in Michigan, where we live so I didn't check reviews! Of course both stores are about 4 hours from where I live so it's not like they have far to ship them but it's a long drive. What really has me boiling though is the touch up paint🤬🤬🤬 That is intensionally being fraudulent! Writing the review has me so disgusted that I will be writing to the BBB and the FTC about their fraudulent business practices!

I went to the PGA Superstore in…

I went to the PGA Superstore in Brookfield, Wisconsin. They are not the nicest group of people to deal with. I was treated like I was there to steal something. I purchased a Hybrid golf club, and when I asked if they could put a new grip on the club, they said it would take a day. Only after I threatened not to buy did they do it right away. Not a place I will go back to

I ordered 2 rangefinders for a customer of mine, and they sent USED ones. Then they made me ask my customer to take pictures and return them, after which, they did NOTHING. I have put $10K+ through this chain in the last year, now I'm going to Golf Galaxy. This place sucks, their customer service sucks, and their stores are full of a**holes who would rather avoid you than help.

IF YOUR CORE COMPETENCY IS SELLING GOLF…

IF YOUR CORE COMPETENCY IS SELLING GOLF CLUBS HOW COME YOU ARE SO BAD AT IT?

I was fitted for clubs and ordered something specific to me. I was told the lead time would be 2-3 weeks. I called 3X and was NOT able to get an update. I emailed the email address for special orders, NO RESPONSE.

Today (5 weeks after order) I spoke with the store manager and learned that my order was unable to be filled. No one ever alerted me. They said the manufacturer sent me an email (THEY DID NOT).

Many of the complaints here related to this issue. What is their internal process? Shouldn't the salesperson who made the sale be responsible for tracking and follow-up?

Why was the manufacturer unable to fill the order on clubs I see advertised on their website and other places?

If I didn't call were they just going to keep my money?

Lies, lies, and more lies--same story as most people here

Same story as most people here: I ordered some clubs that had a lead time of a couple days, I waited a couple weeks with no communication then called them to check on status--no big deal, the manufacturer is sending them tomorrow. Wait another week with no communication, I call again. Manufacturer is sending them in 2 weeks--ok, cancel the order as my pre-order is now sitting on the shelf at just about every local store. Sorry, we eed to cancel with manufacturer and will get back in 1-3 days with confirmation. No confirmation after 4 days. Meanwhile, they are holding my money for the last 1.5+ months and I can't get it back nor confirm that it won't show up at my door in 2 weeks. They are either liars or completely incompetent. Stay Away!

First club fitting.

I had a club fitting with Austin Lane at the store in Novi Michigan. He was very professional with a great attitude. I really appreciated how detailed and patient he was. Thanks for the great experience for my first club fitting.

Canceled Order After 4 Months & Didn’t Tell Me

Ordered a 7 wood in November with a shipping window of a few days. Never received any communication. Finally after receiving nothing after a few weeks, I reached out only to be told the club wouldn’t ship out until March. That was strike 1. If that had been communicated I would have ordered or found the club elsewhere. Well March is here and yet again no club and no communication. This time I call to check on the order and am told it was canceled by the manufacturer a week prior - so I sat and waited 4 months for nothing. There was zero communication from PGA Superstore that my order had been canceled so if I didn’t call, I never would have known. They blamed it on the the manufacturer and said they should have told me - how would that have happened? They didn’t know who I was? I put the order in through PGA. Highly unprofessional, horrendous communication. We will not be shopping here again.

Beware of Special Order Lead Times!

The driver fitting process was excellent at the Palm Beach Gardens store. Unfortunately that’s where the positive experience stopped due to Titleist now taking over a month to ship my special order driver. PGATSS has been responsive on the communication, but they claim they cannot call Titleist to check the status of my order….only e-mail. The wait continues and my frustration with the whole process increases by the day. Beware of special orders and misleading initial delivery estimates!

Hello PGA Superstore,

I felt I should write a good review on the account my sons Kenny, Tim and I went to find the right driver for Kenny.
We’re avid golfers who know the game but not as sharp getting the right club to match the player. Kenny whose swing speed is 115 mph, wants more. Roll not as much distance, less ball spin and need a club to fit him.
Dan, Gary & Jeff Eaton were more than knowledgeable. We ended up after many shaft changes! Kenny ended up Qi 4D with Tensei xstiff 75 gram.
Bottom line very accommodating and thanks for having great employees!

Ordered clubs on 1/20/2026

Ordered clubs on 1/20/2026. Very poor communication on delivery date. Had to contact them twice. Now the ship date from the manufacturer is March 13th. It did not stop them from charging my card. They got their money and I haven’t received my clubs.Customer service poor along with deceptive advertising.

I recently completed a full bag fitting…

I recently completed a full bag fitting with Dominic in the Studio area. He did a great job helping me assess the best irons, shafts and weighting for my swing style. He had me hit well over 150 balls testing different brands, lofts and composites until arriving at the best combination to support my game. The amount of data used was amazing! While the fitting was scheduled for 3 hrs, he brought me back a second time (at no charge) to finalize selecting the wedges and putter.

Having purchased clubs "off the rack" in the past, knowing that these clubs were fitted just for me is great. Sure, it was an investment of time and $, but having the right equipment will make the game more enjoyable. Thanks Dominick!

Bought some pre-owned irons, day later tried to return them but was told could not get a refund. No where was it indicated that could not get refund. Is this legal?

If you are from out of town, don't shop here

If you are from out of town, do not shop at any of these stores. It is impossible to get exchanges or refunds. I purchased 4 pair of Z Golf Gloves from the Myrtle Beach store which apparently must have been sitting in the store too long. In with the very first use, the coating on the gloves shredded and peeled off. And though i sent photo's and the receipt, they still wouldn't exchange or refund the purchase. I'm guess I'm stuck and now will never shop in one of their stores again.

Horrible customer service.…

This store promises the world with expedited shipping but you will never see the package when promised. Emails to customer service are futile. Have made several purchases from them and every time it's the same story. DO NOT pay for expedited shipping from these folks. If you're not in a hurry you should be ok.

Granddaughter golf Clubs

I went to White Plains NY store with my granddaughter looking for left-handed clubs. Tony Ruvolo, a studio fitting specialist, was there to handle our request. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating. He showed us the choices and helped with the fitting. He exceeding our expectations in many ways.

Terrible customer service in store and online

Terrible customer service in store and online. This is why brick and mortar stores dont last. Promoted a free clinic by PGA Tour Superstore...signed up after relentless emails.

The day of scheduled clinic, after driving an hour to the store, no one at store knew anything about it. I was told sorry but not having it after waiting :45. Called customer service and they gave me $50 in gift cards. I tried to use them within expiration date and they said expired. Called PGA Tour Superstore Customer (No) Service and they said sorry can not reinstate.

Do better...
