Extremely Disappointed – Pathetic Service & Zero Accountability
I regret choosing Pepperfry for my purchase. My order was delivered in piecemeal fashion over an unreasonably long period, making it impossible to use the products as intended. Despite multiple follow-ups, the assembly service was delayed indefinitely, adding to the frustration.
The worst part? Zero proactive customer support! Every time I reached out, I was given vague responses and no real resolution. I even had to postpone important plans due to these unnecessary delays.
If you value timely delivery, proper service, and professional support, avoid Pepperfry at all costs. This experience has been nothing but a nightmare!

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Pepperfry. After making the payment, it took one full week for the sofa to be delivered. Unfortunately, when it finally arrived, it was damaged, with multiple tears in the leatherette. I immediately logged a return request on the same day.
It has now been four days, and their customer support keeps sending the same automated emails, saying they will "revert in 72 hours"—which never happens. When I spoke to their customer care, I was told that a carpenter would inspect the damage first before they could process a refund. The carpenter already visited, and now they are making excuses, saying that they work with third-party manufacturers, so the process will take longer.
This is a pathetic company with terrible service. If you value your time and money, DO NOT BUY from Pepperfry. Their after-sales service is frustrating and unreliable. I regret my purchase and would never recommend them to anyone!

I have ordered cots and mattresses at pepper fry. Unfortunately the mattresses is not upto the mark its so stiff and my elderly parents couldnt use it coz they feel pain while at their back while lying down and sitting longer. Pepper fry staffs are good enough to help me with my compains and helped solve the isue however the costumer care guy named saibaz k @pepperfry.com is not helping to solve my issue. He is not a good costumer care and not kind enough not even trying to help me with my issue. He just closed my issue with out even doing his best to help me. He is very pathetic and not showing understanding and compassion to the issue that my elderly parents facing with the stiff mattress. He is not at all qualified and fit to be in costumer care service hence he is not giving full support to the customer side . Pepper fry u should remove him from his seat he dnt deserve to sit there and be in costumer care because trust me he doesnt show any care at all !!! I am very much unhappy and very kuch dissapointed with the way he closed my issue unsolved! Pathetic guy he is!

The guys sitting in that store cannot even spell the products and giving false confirmation about the products and services.
They first place your order in their store when you walk in and still manage to deliver wrong item.
Also there escalation service start in night after 8:30 pm.

We received an obviously defective desk from Pepper Fry. Apparently it had been dispatched without even the most basic quality assurance checks.
We immediately provided photographic evidence of the defect to Pepper Fry.
We were auto-robotically placed in the Pepper Fry blackhole of dysfunction.
We had paid by credit card, so raised a dispute with the credit card company.
Some 7 weeks after paying for the table, the credit company returned the money in full.
In the meantime we found a similar desk from another online retailer at half the price we paid Pepper Fry. The legs on this desk were properly jointed. The Pepper Fry desk’s legs were just held on with screws.

They are the worst ecommerce company I have ever come across. their delivery is bad and if you find a defective product, then return is no less than a nightmare. They are so unprofessional that they are unashamed to receive the brickbats from the customers. Lied about my visa card working.
Pepperfly said my visa card was rejected 3 times by my bank. They pressured me to pay by app which is not as secure as a bank. I called my bank and they verified that no request for payment was submitted by pepperfly. Pepperfly was lying to me. I canceled the order. Pepperfly then attempted to process the order 3 times later that day under a different name. My bank stopped the charge and put my account on hold.

I have had the worst experience with Pepperfry people. The quality of the furniture & the making is pathetic. The after-sale service is even worse. No one gives clear answers and they have no resolution for the bad quality they are selling

I recently ordered two items from Pepperfry – a wardrobe and a queen-size storage bed – and my experience was nothing short of disappointing.
Starting with the wardrobe, it’s baffling that a product meant to last would come so poorly constructed. While the three main sides seemed sturdy, the back panel was just a thin sheet barely attached, making it feel incredibly flimsy. It’s as if Pepperfry took shortcuts that severely impact the wardrobe’s durability and stability.
The queen-size storage bed was even worse. Despite the website's promise, it arrived without any lift-up functionality for the storage, which was one of the key features I was looking forward to. Additionally, the bottom ply for storage wasn’t even attached properly – it covered barely 14 cm, making it practically unusable for storage purposes. The bed I saw in the local store was clearly not the one I received.
When I reached out for support, the response was as disappointing as the products. I was told that no returns would be accepted, and my only option was to accept a subpar product. If I refused, the product would return to the warehouse, and my money wouldn’t be refunded. It’s frustrating that a brand like Pepperfry would have such rigid and unhelpful policies.
I expected more from Pepperfry and am deeply disappointed with both the product quality and customer service. Buyers, please be cautious – the products may look good online, but the reality is quite different.

I am writing to let you know about my dissatisfaction with the sofa set and bed I bought from your company. Within two years of purchase, both items have encountered significant issues.
1. Sofa Set: The sofa broke within three months of purchase. A representative from your company came to repair it, but the same issue has reoccurred. I have raised this complaint multiple times but have not received a satisfactory resolution.
2. Bed: Recently, I reported a problem with the bed as well. The representative who visited suggested I consult my carpenter for repairs, which is not the level of service I expected from your company.
Moreover, I was quoted a charge of ₹9000 for the sofa repair, which is unacceptable given that the issues arose so soon after purchase.
I would appreciate your urgent attention to this matter. I request a prompt response and a resolution that meets the standards of customer service I expected when I chose your company.

I have had a terrible experience with these guys.I request all yo please don't purchase anything from their site else you will have your money stuck with no product left in hand.
They don't have any proper functioning return policy,you will stuck with the cheap and low quality products.I bought a bedsheet having terrible poor quality &refused the second incoming at doorstep and I don't have any updates from them since 3 weeks now.
Product quality will fail you miserably Don't go on the fancy items as it looks online, it will be far worse.

My experience with Pepperfry has been quite frustrating. Over the past month, I made several purchases, including a sofa, bed, and mattress, but the delivery process has been a serious hassle — especially with the sofa.
I placed an order for the sofa on 3rd October, and even after several weeks, it arrived incomplete, missing both its legs and a drawer. It was stuck at the delivery unit for days, but despite multiple follow-ups, no one seemed to take responsibility. I later learned that the merchant wasn’t even contacted about the missing parts until I escalated the issue.
What makes this even more puzzling is that the branch is mostly empty, with very few customers around, yet the staff still offered no help after the sale. Despite having little else to do, they were reluctant to assist with my concerns. For example, I had to reach out to the manufacturer directly to track a delayed mattress because the branch staff didn’t provide support. One staff member even said it wasn’t their responsibility, which was shocking for such a well-known brand.
I had higher expectations when buying from a physical store, thinking the service would be more reliable, but the after-sales support has been disappointing. If you’re planning to shop at this branch, be cautious, as their follow-up and accountability seem to disappear once the sale is made.
The delivery of items has no schedules
The delivery of items has no schedules. Customer Service does not respond and takes at least 2-4 days to read a mail on csatpepperfry.com or supportatpepperfry.com….action to be taken has different time limit.
Delivery is not done as per tracking of website. They will call when they reach your city with your order and they will continue to call unless you come out of your grave and reach home to take delivery.

My experience with pepperfry is a nightmare. I ordered a king size cot with mattress. It took 10 days to reach. Thereafter installation failure. My repeated emails and calls nobody is responsible in customer care. Finally customer care calls me and informs that they're arranging reverse pick up without my consent. I paid advance payment and my money will be paid to me after 3-5days. What a funny company.
I will never recommend pepperfry to anyone.
Received different cracekd item then what i ordered
We bought a customised wardrobe with long hanging for dresses, this order was customised with us and store selling agent, we received the wardrobe after approximately 10 days and for our surprise it was a regular wardrobe from their catalogue without the long hanging part and we customised with the seller, also the wardrobe has arrived cracked inside.
No one from the customer service took responsibility and also the selling agent, they said that it is what we ordered and the crack wasn't there when the carpenter assembled it, after he finished assembling it he immediately left, we took the picture immediately after he left and sent it to the company, they said it is our problem!.
Do yourself a favour, go to other shop save you money and nerves!.

VERY HONEST FEEDBACK-Pepperfry is extremely bad company, customer service is worst, they do not respond on your complaints/ issues at all, no matter how many times you call them and even if they call, they will never help you in any area, even if you have faced countless issues against them, they won't have any solution for your complaints. Their discount offers are complicated, their " track your order" option is complicated ..they have totally illogical and complicated procedures in everything

These guys have delivered fake products with the claim that it's engineered wood and this and that. Their service is the worst.
