Hi team, I am not sure how pepperfry customers care is unable to process refund since a month. They have been sending the same email again and again with no approvals. Pepperfry team has accepted that parts sent were wrong and refund should be initiated. But after that they are delaying the process since a month? How long do you think it takes to resolve a simple query?

Very disappointing experience with Pepperfry. We raised a genuine termite complaint under warranty, but instead of proper resolution, we were provided with a replacement table of much lower quality than the original product.
The finishing, quality, and durability were completely different. We expected better service from such a reputed brand, but the entire process caused unnecessary inconvenience and frustration.
Customers invest their hard-earned money expecting quality and trustworthy after-sales service. Sadly, our experience has been the opposite. Even local market furniture has turned out to be more reliable than this replacement product.
Requesting Pepperfry to resolve this matter fairly and value customer trust before more customers face similar issues.

I recently bought Osamu Solid wood single bed on 4th of May 2026. got delivered on the 2nd day. ie 6th may
Promptly assembly was done on the 3 rd day on 7th May.
On 14th May, when my 22 year old son who weighs hardly 60 kg was sleeping on it,suddenly the base board sunk in, my son fell inside, spraining the neck.
For the last 1 week I am trying to talk to people, no one comes on line. I get a automated message, tried chatting, some faceless human keeps giving the same answer , issue will be resolved in the next 3 or 4 days.
Agter 4 days the same carpenter who done the assembly came for inspection , says that part was fixed at the factory and he is not responsible for the mishap.
Now I am asked to wait for some more days,
I am asking them to refund my money, take back the damaged product.
Since I am not getting any constructive solution, planning to serve a legal notice , with a medical report.
Please dont buy these products.

Quality Issues and Poor Customer Service

Ordered a lamp from them online and it arrived with a lot of marks on the lamp shade.
I immediately reached out csATpepperfryDOTcom with pictures. I asked for replacement which was not available and it took them a few days to confirm that and assured me that they would collect the item for return.
It's been over 2 weeks and the lamp hasn't been collected by courier. They don't respond or care about it.
Absolutely pathetic customer service.

I am Dr Rahul Sharma . Me and my wife visited pepper fry outlet in the elante mall chandigarh and we liked one of their cupboard with drawers and organiser . Then we got ro know that we cannot just pick things and they r just for display. So we came back to Roorkee where we live and ordered on line .. On delivery ,It was shocking to see how poor the quality was .. The local carpenter told us that the wood they have used it is not supposed to be used for luxury furniture and we paid 1lakh 79 thousand for that .. I would strongly condemn such bussiness ethic from pepperfry and would suggest everyone never to buy from them
Pathetic post sales service

My name is Komaldeep Kaur and I am now exhaustedtrying to get a resolution since last 2 weeks for a single bed that I am not happy with at all. The colour of the bed is white and brown, whereas, I ordered a complete brown bed. Why is no body providing a resolution.
When tried speaking with a live agent to check what's going on. She first ended the conversation while I was still typing my concern, which barely took me a minute to type.
I initiated a chat again and got the same agent. I asked her to help me. She said that the team tried to contact me on my number and email and closed the case
I received no such call or email.
I haven't seen experienced such a pathetic service. I would strongly recommend that nobody should shop from Pepperfry. The after sales service is pathetic.

We ordered a lamp over 15 days ago, and it still hasn’t been delivered. Every time we call, we’re told it will be delivered within the next two days, but there has been no progress. When we finally called to cancel the order, the response was simply “sure, go ahead.” Extremely disappointing customer experience. If a simple lamp cannot be delivered on time, it raises serious concerns about reliability and service commitment. Fact: You cannot cancel a product post 24 hours of order. Which means even if your order is delayed you cannot cancel your product. What a pathetic SOP.

I bought a Wadrobe from Pepperfry. One of the worst experiences I ever had. I bought it on Jan,2026. They took more than 10 days to do the assembly. I had to call and email multiple times. The customer service agents behave like as if I have got the product for free. The tone itself was intimidating. When I raised a concern ,the agents literally made me feel bad. Another worst and very very worst thing is carpenters. Omg! The carpenters were most annoying and gave the non sense answers for basic doubts. One of the carpenters told me your door mirror will not be good enough, we can’t do anything. No one asked how my door mirror will work! Then within 5 days, please within 5 days the door didn’t get locked. It was too disheartening to see when you put so much money on an item but ended up malfunctioning. I had to call multiple times and mail multiple times. Again, the customer service agents behaved like the product is given as free. Uff. I cannot express what I went through because of this. The carpenter came after 5 days of constant follow ups. He was very very rude and asked us is this even a complaint? Dude we are buying a wadrobe to keep the items safe by locking it. If it is not functioning it os your responsibility to repair. He was damn rude and was blaming us and the products. He told the first carpenter should have assembled properly. He was extremely annoying. Pepperfry, please understand! We are not buying anything for free. I put my money on your product. The assembly team and customer services are very very poor. The moment we entered the shop to buy, the sales rep behaved completely different. He judged us so quickly as we came in auto and didn’t even come with us to show the product instead asked us to go and check. If you want millionaire customers, then why are you keeping shop on the middle class people zone. Most regrettable purchase ever!

20 Days, No Replacement – Avoid PEPPERFRY
I strongly advise against buying from Pepperfry. I recently ordered a wardrobe and received the package a week later with two damaged parts. Since then, I’ve been chasing their customer service for replacements, but the experience has been terrible.
Their communication is inconsistent—what they say over calls doesn’t match their emails. It’s clear that Pepperfry only cares until you place the order; after that, customer concerns are ignored. More than 20 days have passed, and the damaged package is still lying open, taking up space.
There’s no coordination between Pepperfry and the merchant, no proper follow-up, and the representatives don’t seem to understand customer issues. This week, I even received a random WhatsApp message asking for my location, with no official update from Pepperfry.
The issue remains unresolved. Based on my experience, I recommend exploring better alternatives instead of Pepperfry.
Worst service
We placed an interior order worth approximately ₹13 lakhs with Pepperfry last year. However, the entire experience has been extremely disappointing and stressful.
There have been continuous and unreasonable delays at every stage of the project. The work at our home remains incomplete and has left our living situation completely disrupted. The company has repeatedly made promises regarding timelines, but none of them have been honored.
There were serious issues starting from incorrect measurements taken by their team, which led to delays in production. Subsequently, there were further delays in delivery and installation. Even during the fitting process, the work has been highly unprofessional.
The carpenters deployed appear to be inexperienced and untrained. They often make basic mistakes, such as cutting wood or plywood incorrectly, and then casually admit that it was done by mistake. In several instances, items such as kitchen tandem drawers and other fittings have been installed incorrectly or swapped with one another, clearly indicating a lack of skill and supervision.
Whenever issues are raised, the assigned supervisor fails to provide any meaningful resolution. The behavior and communication reflect a lack of professionalism and accountability. Assurances are repeatedly given—such as completion by a specific date—but these commitments are never fulfilled.
Additionally, the designers assigned to the project appear to lack the necessary competence and professionalism. The overall experience suggests poor quality hiring and inadequate verification of skills.
Due to these continuous delays, we were forced to postpone our housewarming ceremony (Griha Pravesh), which was initially scheduled for 26th February. This resulted in cancellation of travel plans for our guests and has caused both financial loss and significant mental distress.
Even now, despite a new ceremony date scheduled in April, the work remains incomplete. The supervisor visits occasionally without any tangible progress, which further adds to our frustration.
This entire experience has caused us severe mental harassment and financial strain. It is unacceptable that after paying such a substantial amount, we are still dealing with incomplete and substandard work.
