Nice ambience and excellent marketing for so-so tea.
The ambience of the shop is very nice, the person serving me did aa great job telling me about the different types of tea, recommending flavours, etc. I'm less impressed with the quality of the tea itself. While the flavour is intense, the earl grey I bought is incredibly bitter even after a short infusion. The tea leaves are also incredibly small and brittle, so the amount of gristle at the bottom of my cup was way more than I would want for the price you pay for tea.
Their branding and customer service is top notch, I however did not much care for the product.

Hello, thanks for your review. I'm very happy that you had a good experience in-store with our customer service but I'm sorry you didn't enjoy the tea.
I checked your order and it looks like you visited us in July last year so we're a bit taken aback that you are leaving a negative product review 6 months later. I see that you purchased several different types of tea from us including Earl Grey and Japanese sencha and took advantage of our 15% introductory loyalty discount. Were you able to enjoy any of the teas?
We would be interested to know which batch of Earl Grey you had because your description is completely different from what we would expect from our Earl Grey, which is definitely not small leaf and brittle. The batch number will be on the back of the box you purchased. We manufacture our blends by hand in 10kg quantities in our Leith Factory so we take quality issues such as what you describe really seriously.
You are more than welcome to come and see us again in our store or reach out to us by email and we can send you a replacement of the Earl Grey. We prefer to be given the opportunity to resolve any issues before receiving a negative review.
Our pricing is very competitive with our taster boxes working our more expensive by their very nature of taking the same amount of labour to pack 20g as a 250g pouch, which we believe are very reasonably priced.
Again I am very sorry you didn't enjoy the tea.
