It won't allow me to set up my card details to pay for the parking.
So what's the point of the app then?
An uninstall is the best way to go (and take some cash!!!)
Parked in Manchester, every machine was broken!
Not only did they make it incredibly difficult to pay for the time there (I spent almost an hour trying to use their broken Parkonomy application), they had the gall to then issue a fine.
Their app didn't work, wouldn't take my payment, and even the support cases I tried to raise were being knocked back.
Absolutely no human interaction throughout, nobody to call or discuss this with.
Avoid using any of their sites if you can, dreadful service, poor locations full of pot holes, no security and they want shutting down. Shambolic service.
Parked up for two hours. Payed on line. Received a fine of £100.00 two weeks later because I was parked for two hours and twenty minutes. (20 min over). I paid £3.70. on the app thinking I was there for two hours. No notification to show how much to pay when making payment, but they accepted what I payed. I'm a pensioner, dyslexic and have difficulty using these apps. No fish and chips treat for the next month. Daylight robbery.
Terrible app. Received £100 parking fine because unable to download in time. Ringo is far superior.
Empty carpark and overstayed by like 20 minutes due to a problem with family. It’s okay if it was like during peak times but an empty carpark at 6pm no where near anywhere it’s ridiculous money grabbing none sense.
They send you an email confirming your registration and the email includes the password that you chose. In plain text! Absolutely unbelievable for a company operating in 2022. Massive security risk.
Do not use this car park it is a rip off.My son parked next to us, we paid our fee he sat in our car waiting for his payment to go through as the signal was poor,two mins later there was a ticket for £60. On the ticket it said from the time they put the ticket on the windscreen to the time the payment went through was 2 mins, Disgusting
Its ok, not brilliant. User experience is not as good as others Paybyphone, RingGo and you cant even add a new card (you have to do a transaction to add the card)
This company deserve a -5. Fined 60 quid for encroaching a white line with just a few inches because the other car next to me had encroached on my parking. I'm sure the other car got a fine as well. Unbelievable.
Awful app. I have a couple of other parking apps and never had any trouble. This one took 15 mins to sort and landed me a £100 fine. Appeal rejected, so I’ve escalated. If still no luck it’s off to the ombudsman!
Tried paying to park here on the 6/11/21 wet and cold kids with me tried paying by card but no joy text the number they provide no reply. on the 16/11/21 had a parking notice of £100 I didn't even park I moved the car onto the street but because I was trying to pay for so long 10 mins courteous and 10 mins grace was up they send me a parking notice apparently they didn't text or call back because I hadn't written park with my car reg would have helped if the had rang back and told me as I was stood waiting with kids for a reply in the rain... Think this is how they try and get more out of people... Won't be paying the parking notice rather go to court... I've proof of trying to pay a little help from them would saved all this hassle and maybe a happy customer I won't use this car park in the future
I would have given no stars. Website clunky and difficult to navigate, wrong vehicle reg when i rang number to pay. No way to book ticket online from my acount, and charged extra 40p which is not shown on prices and contact board in carpark or on home page for Parkonomy. Missed train although i had 30 mins margin.

In my experience, I found the payment transaction quite straightforward. YES, the website is a bit clunky but overall reasonably straightforward to use. You pay by card online and you receive an invoice by email and text etc.
However, the car park operators are a different proposition all together. Search for Link Parking Ltd. and you'll see what I mean!
I paid 'parkology' using the website and obtained my invoice etc. Later on I was issue with a Parking Charge Notice for unauthorised parking. I contacted parkology to confirm the payment reached them (well it left my bank account quick enough) but still waiting a reply.
Anyway, my appeal to LINK PARKING was refused even though I had a valid ticket/invoice. So I'm going to ignore the threatening letters and wait for my day in Court.

Ed up paying twice. Contacted support centre numerous times to try and resolve. Not had any reply. Avoid using if you don't want hassle. A real con and sharp practice
I arrived at the car park in St. Matthews St. Ipswich to find that all the coin machines had been removed, so I was left with no choice but to pay by phone or online.
I think this is wrong as some people do not have a mobile phone and some may have forgotten to carry their phones with them when they park.
However, I texted the correct number with my car licence number, waited a couple of minutes but received no reply.
Then decided to walk to the shop I needed to go to in the hope I would receive a reply to my text before returning to car park.
10 minutes later I returned to car park. Still no reply. Texted again. Again no reply after a few minutes so texted a third time. Still no reply.
Then I went onto their website and discovered I had been charged a total of £1.40 - £1 for parking, 20p for the booking fee, 10p for SMS text and a further 10p for text reminder.
I did not receive these texts - perhaps due to a bad signal - but I think it is wrong to charge people just to confirm their texts when trying to pay!
There was no indication on the notices you would be charged 10p for confirmatory texts and reminder texts.
I will avoid using this car park in future.
Yup can add to the many many poor reviews. Tried to pay to park in a car park in Solihull, no way to pay via app or website and the phone system then gets stuck in a loop once I confirmed the car park. If the car park you get to requires Parkonomy (who can somehow afford a floor of offices in Canada Square) you’ll need cash
So parked yesterday in southport have tried to pay online cannot find my car and cannot make a payment utterly useless app DO NOT USE!
DREADFUL APP….. won’t accept a card on the app so how on earth are we expected to pay ??????
