This is a cowboy style company who are operating with crooked terms when you park on there land, any small error you receive a big fine with no reasonable leniency in there judgement. They are thieves who will pay for their crooked ways. I wont ever park on there land again. I curse this company, they will get what they deserve.

I would definitely give a minus if I could. Scammers one and all! Paid for my parking in full and still got a find. Lucky I have proof from their own website and bank. Car park in question is Exeter Isca Place. Allows drivers to park anywhere not just in designated bays. They’re just money grabbers. The council should kick them out. The people of Exeter deserve a better service.
Tried to pay for a ticket online
Tried to pay for a ticket online, app wasn't working due to poor signal. Pay machine onsite at Watlington train station was bagged up, also couldn't ring the telephone number. Tried for 18 Minutes to pay online but we couldn't so left the site. Got a PCN a week later. couldn't be bothered to contest the charge as companies like this have got you over a barrel and didn't want to give them more of my money. avoid if possible.
A money making scheme with no sense of customer care. Their people must have been bullied at school.
My most recent experience confirmed what an organisation they are. I parked, paid using the machine (you have to pay to park on a yellow blue badge space with these guys). I used the machine, entered my vehicle reg (or so i thought) ,
the money was taken from card, the ticket printed and displayed in the windscreen. A week later, U receive a £100 fine for not paying for my space use. I retrieve the parking ticket and notice not all of the vehicle reg showed on the ticket.
I appealed, and attached a photo of the parking ticket and the transaction from my bank.
I received a reply asking me how I paid . Clearly they didn’t bother to read the attachments to the appeal. I replied confirming how I had paid.
They replied saying it was my fault for not correctly following their byelaws and as a goodwill guesture would reduce the fine to £20.
To describe my sense of anger at this outrageous behaviour, I would use up all of the words in the Viz Profanosaurus. FYI It is a very thick book.

No customer service. Inadequate and unfair appeal systems and rely on the parkonomy app which is quite frankly the worst app ever. They know what they’re doing. If you park in one of their car parks god help you

Placed the ticket carefully in the windscreen of my car. Thereafter, a week later, I received a parking charge notice of £60 for non payment. Either their machines are not logging the payments or they do not have staff checking windscreens. Whatever the reason for an unjustified charge, having lost the ticket that would have proved my innocence, I have no recourse but to pay. Is this a deliberate scam or just incompetence? Other negative reviews about this car park suggest both. Don't use this car park in Exeter.

Dear [Total Car Parks ],
I am writing to formally complain following my appeal against the Parking Charge Notice issued against my vehicle. The allegations made in your letter are completely false and misleading.
The photographs you have provided clearly show my car entering and leaving the Newton Hall Retail Park in Durham — but these are from two separate days, not a continuous 24-hour period as you claim. This makes your accusation entirely invalid.
I am a disabled driver and a regular customer at this retail park, specifically at Aldi (which I use almost daily) and Home Bargains. I use this location because it is close to my home, offers excellent disabled parking, and provides convenient facilities such as the InPost locker.
It is absurd to suggest that I would leave my car there for 24 hours when I live less than half a mile away. In fact, my neighbours and I have Ring Doorbell footage showing my vehicle parked outside my home during the time period you allege it was left in your car park.
Your actions are not only distressing but also potentially misleading and exploitative, especially towards vulnerable or elderly people who might pay such a fine without question. I have seen numerous similar complaints circulating on local Facebook community groups, and I will continue to highlight this issue publicly to prevent others from being misled.
I have already contacted the management teams of the businesses on this retail park — including Aldi — regarding your company’s conduct and the false nature of this claim.
Please review your ANPR camera data properly and cancel this Notice immediately.

Sent an appeal after being sent a parking for a bank holiday Monday. They are very rude and have zero customer service skills after telling me any emails from me would go unanswered as they have made their decision and it is final.

Regular user of their car park at Diss train station. Waited to pick my daughter up from the station one day when she was visiting. Waited at the car park for 17 minutes. Received £60 invoice. I explained my oversight and advised I'd be happy to pay if they really need the money and are happy to lose my future custom (I don't work with companies I view as aggressive and / or opportunistic). They sent me a long self serving letter insisting on payment. So, they got their £60, but lost a customer. Strange way for a private business to treat its customers, but not uncommon in this industry.
Total scam
Parked and paid for 2 hours, was there 78 mins. Next I got a bill for £60 which i disputed. Explained I had paid for my parking. The absolutely disgusting part for me, my father had passed 9 days previously and I was arranging funeral. Did they care... NO! Next letter was a nice threatening one from a debt collection agency wanting £160 or else! NO choice but to pay

If I could give zero stars, I would. Total Car Parks is one of the most unprofessional and unjust companies I’ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I attempted multiple times to pay for a parking session, but their payment system was faulty. I notified them immediately and provided several emails requesting proof that their system was actually operational at the time. Not once did they provide any evidence or acknowledgment—just total silence.
Instead of addressing the issue like any respectable company would, they escalated the charge and eventually slapped me with a County Court Judgment (CCJ). Yes, a CCJ—for a payment I actively tried to make, and a situation that arose due to their own technical failure.
What makes it worse is that their appointed debt collection agency (DCBL) confirmed that they were simply acting on instruction and couldn't resolve the issue. In short, Total Car Parks ignored my formal requests, refused to investigate their own system issues, and railroaded the situation into legal action. The arrogance and lack of accountability is staggering.
To anyone reading this: STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. Their systems are unreliable, their customer service is non-existent, and their approach to disputes is bullying and unethical. I will be escalating my complaint to the FCA, Trading Standards, and the BPA. No one should have to deal with this kind of mistreatment.

I have used this car park every day for approximately two years and also adhoc when I go on holiday. I take time before I leave my car each morning to pay on the app for my parking.. I received two parking tickets for 27th and 28th March stating I had not paid. I am totally at a loss as to why the parking on both days did not it register.. I would not deliberately not pay for my parking and feel there must have been a fault with the app or Internet.. I did try to appeal this but was sent back pictures of my car arriving and leaving the car park along with pictures of signage how to pay for your parking. This was not helpful at all along with the other "four" final reminders I recieved 5 days after the first parking tickets.. (all on the same day). I actually found this very stressful and felt very anxious about getting further tickets as I was under the impression I had paid for the two days in question... I have tonight paid the £120 and I will NOT be using your facilities again.. I am sure there must have been an issue with the APP.. total car parks are not interested at all. Plenty other car parks in the same area .. total carparks have lost my loyally now .

This company is a complete scam that refuses to take responsibility for their own system failures while aggressively pushing unfair fines onto customers.
I attempted to pay a parking charge, but their system kept giving me an external error despite trying on multiple devices, networks, and even different days. Instead of acknowledging this clear issue, they ignored my concerns, blamed me, and conveniently claimed their system was working perfectly because "thousands of other customers" managed to pay. That is not how accountability works.
When I tried to reason with them professionally and even offered to provide proof of the issue, they outright refused to acknowledge my experience, ignored my emails, and told me they won’t be responding anymore. Instead of looking into a legitimate problem, they have the audacity to say they will prove in court that their system had no issues—as if that somehow makes my experience invalid.
Their so-called "customer service" is nothing but robotic responses, excuses, and gaslighting. They escalated the charge to debt collectors despite my repeated attempts to pay, making it clear they care more about squeezing money out of people than actually running a fair and responsible business.
⚠️ AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! ⚠️ If you ever run into a problem with their shady system, don't expect any help—just expect debt collection threats and a complete refusal to listen.
This is one of the worst parking companies I’ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with. A total disgrace.

Do not use! They will scam you! I was forced to pay a £100 fine for trying to pay to park. Their systems didn't work but I was ‘at fault’ for persevering to pay before leaving. I stayed a total of 16 minutes, in which the whole time I was trying to pay, before having to find an alternative car park. Awful company!
