Panda Recycling Omdömen 

Signed up with panda for my waste collection service. I went with them as they came in the cheapest, however I now wish I paid another company who was more expensive because there’s a reason they were cheap.
The whole sign up process should be straight forward, but I was spending days chasing them to send the documents over to me- once this was finally done, it then took them 3 weeks to deliver a bin. They kept promising me dates for delivery but never stuck to them.
Once the bin was finally delivered I was promised an additional collection for free because of the inconvenience caused and build up of rubbish which we had accumulated- as expected this was never done and instead was told I would be charged for an extra collection.
They missed 2 collections and lied and said they recorded 20kg collection yet my bin was still full and untouched!
And now they’re refusing to cancel my contract, even though I’ve not had a single collection and it’s been 6 weeks!
If this isn’t a scam I don’t know what is!

To anyone considering signing up with Panda Recycling, avoid them like the plague. We originally joined back when they were B&M Waste and they weren't so bad then... but over the last few years they've gone from bad to worse.

Key warnings for anyone considering them:
- They will change their collection days at their will, or just not attend at all, and their attitude is pretty much diddums. To quote them recently... "the waste contract is for a weekly collection rather than collection on a specific day" now we're playing games with what the contract says.
- You'll have more success quitting the gym... to end your contract you have to give them notice, no more than 6 months before the end of your contract, and no less than 5 months before the end of your contract, in writing, to their head office, posted by Royal Mail Signed for delivery. Might as well add some terms that you need to hop on one leg all the way to the post office in the process, otherwise it won't be accepted. Con-artist type behaviours. If you have to stitch your customers up to force them to stay with you, it really says a lot about your ability to retain customers based on the service and value that you deliver eh?
- Sneeze at your service, and they'll renew your contract for another 2 years. We changed our collection point to 1 mile down the road, no reduction in amount being lifted, day of the week or anything... tied into another 2 years whether I like it or not... because... if I didn't like it, then I don't meet all of the hideous criteria to cancel them.
- Try and get answers to basic questions and they will literally avoid you causing frustration that really is unecessary.

In short, a small business gone big, and lost the plot in the process. Right now, the bigger companies like Veolia, Biffa etc. are more reliable AND cheaper.

I set up a new account with Donna, she was so lovely and helpful, the process was easy and smooth.

Josh Waters has been excellent to deal with throughout the process. He was clear, responsive, and proactive in keeping things moving, even when there were unexpected delays. I really appreciated how he pushed everything through quickly, kept me updated, and took care to make sure the issue was resolved. His communication has been professional and friendly, and he’s gone the extra mile to help. I’d happily recommend Josh Waters to anyone looking for someone reliable and on the ball.

Whilst out shopping on the 25th June I noticed a Panda lorry working and empying a bin. Some of the rubbish spilled out on to the floor and the driver just left it. When I politely asked the driver if he had seen this he informed me he had no tools to clean it up. When I asked if I could speak to his manager he became aggressive. I then emailed panda and have had no response a week after the inncident.

Terrible company. We started with Fletchers with a weekly waste collection, then I believe they got bought by Panda. For a while the service was fine, but for the past 6 months or so, there is an issue every few weeks where our waste isn't collected. It's so difficult to communicate with them as it's unclear who we are supposed to contact. They make up stories saying the driver has been and collected X amount of waste, even though we have CCTV to prove otherwise. Other times they say "sorry the driver missed you off the route". It takes weeks for them to issue credit notes, and sometimes to even just reply to a simple email. It's just not good enough, how hard can it be to arrive anywhere between 9-5 and empty two bins? We currently have an issue where the driver attended our site, but didn't get out to empty the bins and just drove off (this is all on CCTV). I'm waiting for a reply to this, but I can't see the issue being resolved any time soon!

I believe that Panda waste management took over the contract from Bagnell and Morris waste. Our original contract was with Associated Waste Management who could not be faulted. Since taking over Panda have been absolutely terrible. They have failed to attend on countless occasions, yet they still send invoices for attendance. Only yesterday I received an email where they apologised for not attending on the last scheduled visit and assuring me that they would attend today. Yet again they have not turned up. Definitely would not recommend them. When you write to complain you hardly ever receive a response.

THE WORST SERVICE IN THE WORLD I SPOKE TO 2 LADIES AND EVEN THEY DIDNT SEEM TO UNDERSTAND THE BILLS IT SEEMS NO MATTER WHAT I PAY MY BILL JUST KEEPS GOING UP, SERVICE ON THE PHONE WAS A DISASTER THEY HAD NO IDEA WHAT THEY WERE TALKING ABOUT, FOR ONE PICK UP IN MAY I WAS CHARGED €57 TAKE OFF THE €17 I OWED THEM THAT MAKES A ONE BIN PICKUP €40

Issue with collections, spoke to Josh Waters, who promptly resolved the issue with a resolution within an hour of the issue being raised. Great service as always.

Angela was great. Communication was very responsive. After being with them for 4 yrs I was looking elsewhere to reduce costs. Angela helped me with a tailored package and now I’m staying!

I would commend Angela at Panda for providing waste collection figures efficiently and being on the ball when it comes to making arrangements. Angela is professional, polite and organised. She deserves particular praise for tracking down a hazardous waste consignment note that was thought lost.

Avoid completely.

They tie you into a contract that’s extremely difficult to cancel.

Collections are unreliable, and when you request refunds for missed pickups, customer service responds by accusing you of being dishonest.

They even rebranded from B&M Waste due to their poor reputation and negative reviews.

Overall, a terrible experience.

5 star experience with Panda recycling from Josh Waters!! He has been super helpful in assisting our primary school with enhancing our waste removal service whilst saving us a small fortunate. Thanks Josh, we are very grateful!

Extremely disappointing service.

Our scheduled waste collection was completely missed, and instead of resolving the issue, we’ve been left chasing with no response to our emails. This is not the first time this has happened, which makes it even more frustrating.

As a food business, reliable waste collection is essential for hygiene and daily operations. Being ignored when trying to fix a problem they caused is simply unacceptable.

If you’re considering using this service, be aware that when something goes wrong, you may be left without support or a solution.
