GREAT DEAL
Both the people I spoke to were polite and helpful and all my questions were answered.
I have been a long time client with British gas but the cover ended and the cost for a new one nearly doubled, OpenFix cover was cheaper than my original cover with British gas and also covered Electrical and plumbing.

This company sold me a pocicy knowing…
This company sold me a pocicy knowing that I have not got a combi boiler system and sold me a policy that I wanted this included . When a fault occured outside the boiler controles they exempted it . And when I tried to clise the account because of this I was told I would have to obligate the contract . Also there site makes it imposdible to not automaticly renew the policy . So be weary of this scheeming company.

Our plans are not restricted to combi boilers. Your Potterton Promax boiler is suitable for cover under your chosen plan, and we completed its service in August.
The fault you reported in July concerned a three-way valve on your central heating system. Your selected plan includes the boiler and its controls, but does not include the central heating system. This is why the repair was declined—not because your boiler is unsuitable for cover. We offer a range of plans, including options that cover the central heating system.
We can confirm that you spoke with an agent on 26 September, who completed the cancellation of your plan. Your plan will therefore not automatically renew.
We’re sorry that your experience left you disappointed, and we appreciate the opportunity to clarify what happened.

Great experience
Great experience. I was assigned dodgy gas engineer who effectively didn’t deliver. Few false appointment, ignoring phone calls eventually rang openfix to supply me with different engineer as I needed work to be carried out quickly after waiting few weeks. Jessica in customer service looked for engineer who gave appointment on the day and work was done. Pleased with the service. Thanks
