Easy to open a service agreement. Price very competitive. However like everything else it comes down to the service provided when it’s required.

There are many issues with this…
There are many issues with this company. I am in a wheelchair I could not get up to read the fault. "I was told they need the name of the fault reading so the engineer can diagnose it and possibly fix it without coming out". I explained I cannot get up and they said someone will call soon. No calls for 20 hours so I kept calling back and was told the same thing. Eventually they came and said I need a new boiler. I called my neighbour and he just reset it and it works fine. I should have done this in the first place. Don't use OpenFix.

We’re concerned to read about the experience you describe, particularly the difficulty accessing your boiler’s fault code and the reported delay in receiving a callback.
For faults of this nature, our usual first step is to ask whether you can safely reset the boiler and check its pressure, which is what you are saying resolved the fault. The process described therefore does not appear consistent with our usual approach.
We have requested further information through the review platform but have not received a response. Without those details, we have been unable to identify your account or verify this experience.

Boiler service dirty trick
Signed up only to then be told the Boiler service will be 11months time. Felt a bit scammed !

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry the service timing was later than you expected.
You joined on 29 September, and your boiler service was allocated for August 2027, within the first 12 months of your plan. The annual service is not necessarily carried out immediately after joining.
Your plan provides support for covered breakdowns all year round, subject to its terms and initial exclusion period. With winter approaching, that protection is particularly valuable. We schedule annual servicing between March and September to keep more engineers available for repairs during the colder months and help us respond faster when things go wrong.
We appreciate that you expected an earlier service, and we’re sorry if the timing was not clear when you signed up.

I have been with open fix now for 3…
I have been with open fix now for 3 months and first of all for my call out on Saturday the engineer for boiler never showed up. After 40 minutes on the phone they finally said someone would call me and come around on Monday. She eventually turned up and fixed it within minutes. No hot water for 40 hours and just a very poor service which I pay £36 a month. Shop somewhere else...Perhaps it should be called OpenNot Fix
