I placed an order for a sweet box from…OORLA (TAMIL NADU)

I placed an order for a sweet box from (name of shop) on the (22.march.2025). I had high hopes and was so disappointed when I received it. Its was not worth the price at all. It was said that I only had to pay $58-postal charges $15 and UPS charges is $58.93for the sweets but ended up having to pay $131.93for a box of sweets (400grams.) It wasnt worth it at all. I thought it would be good because of the price and quality they've shown online. I could've bought this for 15 dollars from here. I do not recommend this shop. Please don't fall for their false advertisements.
So please don’t buy any CANADIAN this PRODUCT(OORLA)this is big SCAM.

Order not delivered after 3 weeks of…

Order not delivered after 3 weeks of placing,no response for requests to refund.
The delivery is requested to Cochin and the excuses are lame on weather while its not a bad monsoon situation and over 3 weeks with no update is unacceptable. The ad guarantees fresh quick delivery but now how its going to maintain freshness if the product ever gets delivered? Multiple requests were made for refund but there is no response from customer service.

Orlando sweets are worst

I ordered sweets from Oorla, and they arrived late. The packaging was damaged, and the sweets didn’t taste fresh and I think sweets from road is more good than Oorla and it’s waste of money. Customer service was unresponsive when I tried to address the issue. I never suggested to buy it

Absolutely horrible quality of product

Absolutely horrible quality of product. Ordered pickles which had bad oil smell and also majority was oil than pickle. Wouldn’t recommend ordering from them at all.

Great taste; will order again!!

Inspite of flight delays the products that I ordered came fresh. The packaging was so clean. They were tasting very good. Srivilliputtur Milk Halwa got over immediately. Savoring the Ooty varkeies one at a time with Elaichi tea in the cold needed afternoons 😀😍Every one in the family loved it. Thanks Orrla for this concept. Wheni saw no preservatives, I was thanking Oorla for being so responsible.

I order a few items of almost $95 from…

I order a few items of almost $95 from Oorla and later when delivery was delayed, I contacted Oorla. Thats when they informed me that despite paying delivery charges and higher cost - I have to pay tax of almost $33. This is nearly half the price of the items ordered. I would never recommend this to other customer and I would not buy from Oorla again.

Diwali Sweets & Savories

I had ordered from Oorla for Diwali and they delivered it on time. I opted for the Tamilnadu sweets and savories and I got to say, the quality and the freshness was top notch. Loved all of the items as they were neatly packed and delivered in nice looking tin containers. Highly recommended.

Fraud company

Not only did I not receive my Diwali order, I am still waiting for it. Beware of this company. The good reviews are fake. There's no response toy complaints. I will lodge an FIR against them now.

False Promises

I placed an order with Oorla.com for Diwali gifts, encouraged by their promise of 2-4 day delivery. However, it’s been over two weeks, and I still haven’t received a tracking number or any update. While I understand unexpected delays can happen, the lack of communication and transparency has been disappointing. To make matters worse, they’re now advertising a 30% discount, which feels inconsiderate given that many customers like me are still waiting for previous orders.

I wanted to support an Indian-owned business and was excited to receive unique products for Diwali, but this experience has made me question their reliability. I’m sharing this to caution others to consider customer reviews carefully before placing an order. I hope Oorla takes steps to improve their service because the community would benefit from a trustworthy platform.

Waste of Money!!!

I ordered Palakara Petti from Oorla for Diwali 2024 and the sweets tasted horrible. All the sweets were full of sugar and oil.The jelebi was filled with sugar crystals and the smell of oil was still there in the sweets.I am very disspointed with the order and the response from the team is also not satisfying.Never going to order again!!!

I ordered the small palakarapetti along…

I ordered the small palakarapetti along with few karam items on 26 th of October and Atlast got the partial order today Nov 5 th. They shipped only the petty and not karam items.

I am trying to get hold off some human being to talk but repeated automated message is coming. No customer service phone .

They messaged me back saying that they will sip it for free with my next order.

Please stay away.

Terrible terrible service and lack of professionalism!

I ordered 2 packages from the US for shipping within Tamilnadu on 23rd October for shipping 2-4 days before Diwali. One order has not shipped still and the Chennai one was delivered today. On the 31st, I sent many messages requesting my orders to be canceled. But no response. There is no customer service phone no. either. Never never order from them...such a scam and zero professionalism!

Today, on No. 5th, they say they can refund one order (which has not been shipped at all yet). They cannot refund the other one as it is with their shipping partner. They say delay is with their shipping partner.

Who is responsible for their shipping partner? How bad is and unprofessional is this company??? It is Nov 5th today, supposed to have reached latest by Oct 29th.

Please ISSUE me a refund for order ORG 22331. Worst worst Indian company I have dealt with from the US. Please don't give Indians a bad name especially when they are doing so well now with their customer service. Plus all of this is for domestic shipping.
