Careless and Unprofessional

The website and advertising were very misleading. They promised to deliver 2-4 days before Diwali. I paid upfront and ordered to make sure it arrives when we go to India for Diwali and can bring it back to Singapore for us. But the parcel never arrived. I must ahve sent atleast 200 messages on their whatapp, instagram, facebook and the website. all i get in reply is a bot generated reply. Finally after 8 days of promised delivery, I get a tracking number and date for delivery. When i asked for a refund, i get an email from a executive saying sorry about it we will give you 20% off on next order. First be answerable for the current order. Spent in 1000s to be cheated by these people

Zero support from customer service

Zero support from customer service. There is a huge delay from UPS and the oorla team seem to think as long as the order is given to UPS their job is done. I am very disappointed because I'm sure the items are going to be expired when it arrives. I'm still waiting.

Big-time wasted our money

Big-time wasted our money. It is more than a fortnight now since we ordered. We didn't get the products. No reply to emails despite reminders. Pathetic company and service. Please don't get scammed by this company. Just delivering few customers to get good reviews and leave others hanging.

Cheaters

Cheaters! Never order...

Ordered on 25th October, they committed to deliver before Diwali, the shipment seems to be done on 27th Oct, the UPS tracking says its still in airport from 27th Oct, Given its perishable items, not sure the condition of it. No response to emails. Poorest service, no option to cancel the order, nor any contact number to reach them.

Cheaters. Please do not order

Ordered with them 10 days ago. There is no sign of order being delivered. Sent email to the customer care multiple times and got a single response saying they are celebrating Diwali and will respond after Nov 5th. Never seen such a stupid response from a customer care team. There is no cancellation process in the website and I think the money is gone.

I ordered 2 Karnataka style peti and shipping option opted for 1-3 days before deepavali. I thought these guys were professional by looking at their facebook & insta adds. I received tracking no. but tracking no. says booking details not available. You should stop posting such kind of adds if you cannot keep up the promised delivery. With so much of love I had ordered for my family. Now no body is there to respond back from your team and expected date of response is only on November 5th.

Fraud company. I have ordered for palakarapetti contains 7tins. You need to make payment in advance. No cash on delivery. But I have received only 5tins. When contacted no response. They are cheaters

I have ordered for 7tins palakara Petti and made the payment of Rs 1529 .10 after 10% discount. This amount is for 7 tins but I have received only 5 tins. When tried to call them. No response. Sent many WhatsApp messages but no use. Sent message in Instagram still no response. Sent mail to their Customer care but no response. They are the cheaters. They are using this festive seasons to chat the customers. Snacks also not good quantity also very less. Shame on this company. Cheating customers in the name of Festival palakaram. No response no business ethics. Everybody should stop buying from this fraudulent. You cannot make reviews in their site also.

Not worth the price for US customers

not worth the price for US customers. Extremely less quantity, average quality and much delayed delivery. Would not recommend. 100 to 150 rs snack packs they are selling for 800 rs to US customers.

Pathetic customer service no response…

Pathetic customer service no response on email neither on whatsApp there is no contact number to speak to someone I order pre booking diwali slot the order was suppose to be delivered 4 days prior diwali only one day left and no response from them about the package and no tracking details I received whithin india they are unable to deliver the order properly why? Poor Customer Service and Unreliable Delivery Experience

Order number*: ORG20196
• Worst customer service – No response regarding delayed items even after multiple follow-ups. Despite chasing them, no one reached out to provide an update.
• Lack of transparency – Initially, the status showed “tried to deliver but delivery failed” for four consecutive days with no explanation. When we tried contacting them, emails went unanswered, and WhatsApp responses were delayed. After four days, they informed us that additional shipping/duty charges applied, despite the initial promise of free shipping for orders above $100.
• Unexpected additional charges – We wanted the items delivered to our loved ones, so we reluctantly paid the extra $18. However, the delivery was delayed by another day even after payment.
• Incomplete delivery – When the package finally arrived, three items were missing (pickle, palkova, and chips), even though these were listed as part of the order. The products were already overpriced under the claim of “high quality.”

Recommendation:
Please don’t trust them. You can find better quality products at a cheaper price in the local market. This experience was disappointing, and I don’t plan to order from them again.

Customer care matters. When such issues arise, they should proactively inform the customer and work to resolve the problem. Unfortunately, they failed to do so, which added unnecessary frustration.

What’s the point of delivering if food items arrive spoiled or incomplete? 👎👎👎

This is the first time we ordered and…

This is the first time we ordered Tamilnadu palahara petti and had a great experience. In just 4-5 days we got our order from India to Brisbane . The snacks were of high quality and we relished taste in every bite. We would definitely recommend for anyone abroad missing native snacks to order from Oorla. The snacks and the sweets are equally good. It was fresh and well sealed and packed. I had ordered for Ribbon Seeval, Manapparai Murukku, Kayalpattinum Mixture and Muscoth Halwa. I would definitely recommend Oorla.

Also i found their customer service pretty good. They take feedbacks and suggestions from the customer quite well and they personally get in touch with you and address everything. This is quite rare nowadays.

Consistent Quality…
