Met behulp van de software heb ik 19Gb fotobestanden op de SD kaart kunnen herstellen. De testversie gaf binnen 10 min duidelijkheid dat de bestanden hersteld konden worden. Weliswaar moest ik het programma kopen om de bestanden te herstellen (limiet is 1 Gb), maar dit was het voor mij dubbel en dwars waard. Ik ben oneindig dankbaar dat het gelukt is op een simpele, snelle en betaalbare manier.

I highly recommend Ontrack! Steller customer service and they keep you informed along the entire process. Very easy to set up an account, track, pay, and pick-up. They were able to recover ALL of my data from an external hard drive that just suddenly stopped working. The external hard drive had over 211K of documents, photos, etc.

Un'esperienza pessima.
Dalla lentezza delle fasi iniziali in cui mi sono messo in contatto con Ontrack e sono stato assistito dalla sig.ra Panzeri, che mi ha condotto attraverso un complicato processo burocratico. Sostanzialmente per usufruire del servizio bisogna mettere per iscritto che siamo disposti a pagare senza avere nessuna garanzia sul risultato finale.
Dopo il primo test, al telefono mi viene detto che essendo file video le possibilità di recuperare file sono pochissime. Mi viene offerta la possibilità di pagare €150+iva per fare ulteriori test per capire se sarà possibile recuperare i file. Accetto. Dopo il pagamento vengono svolti i test e vengo contattato telefonicamente dal sig. Anfossi il quale mi dice che non è stato possibile vedere nulla sulla scheda, che viene definita "completamente vuota". Io esprimo le mie perplessità e gli dico che mi aspettavo un risultato migliore da un laboratorio specializzato. Immediatamente Anfossi alza i toni "NOI NON ABBIAMO MAI GARANTITO IL SUCCESSO NEL RITROVAMENTO DEI DATI etc. etc." infine mi chiede se voglio che la scheda mi venga rispedita a casa oppure possono occuparsi loro dello "smaltimento" (?). Io chiedo che mi venga rispedita perché qualcosa non mi quadra. Il Sig. Anfossi si permette perfino di fare del triste umorismo consigliandomi di "non riutilizzare la scheda in futuro".
A quel punto devo mandare al cliente delle prove che, nonostante mi sia rivolto a un laboratorio (in teoria) specializzato, non è stato possibile recuperare i file del lavoro perso. Chiedo via email i report ufficiali dei test (definiti "strutture precedenti, signature search e analisi manuale") e non ricevo nemmeno risposta.

Ora arriva il bello. Al ricevimento della scheda a casa, mi metto di impegno con alcuni freeware trovati online, in particolare uno mi permette di avviare la funzione deepscan, che trova TUTTI i file video persi e mi permette di recuperarne con successo circa un terzo, cioè un centinaio di file, che di fatto mi salveranno la faccia davanti al cliente e mi permetteranno di consegnare con successo il lavoro.

Direi che non c'è molto da aggiungere, non arrendetevi, cercate soluzioni da soli. State alla larga da questo laboratorio e dal loro personale presuntuoso e sgarbato.

Ihr Kundenservice ist sehr hilfsbereit freundlich und bemüht, allerdings war ich enttäuscht, dass von den 2/3 der auslesbaren Daten, lediglich 1/3 wiederhergestellt werden konnte. Ich hätte mir für das Geld mehr erwartet.

Goede en duidelijke analyse en communicatie.
Volgens afspraak en binnen de gestelde tijd afhandeling van het probleem.
Zeer betrouwbaar.

The good bits: Company is VERY professional in many ways with detailed report and follow up.

The bad bits: I gave a full explanation over the telephone for what had happened (ransomware attack). I was advised to bring the server into them. I did this. I asked for a receipt (as I am handing over £3,000 of kit) and was told "you will get an email in a few minutes" - I didn't. It took 24 hours. Just over a day later, I had my report which told me, in a VERY professional document EXACTLY what I had told them before bringing it to them and nothing more. This cost me £1,000. Further, bearing in mind that they stated that they can recover from ransomware attacks, the report went on to say "If they (the data files) are also encrypted, we will not be able to recover the individually encrypted files" which rather negated the whole point of taking the machine to them.

Ontrack supplied a very simple and convenient service for my date recovery when my external hard drive ceased to function. I would recommend them to everybody.

I would really like to recommend this company for recovering data from HDD. I lost my hope of getting my data back from a corrupted Lacie HDD, I gave it to some other companies to scan it but every time was unsuccessful and a waste of time. We had a great communication, even they replied few emails in minutes and got the HDD recovered in few days only.

Me puse en contacto con ellos, me explicaron todo al detalle pot email y por telefono, hasta el método de pago, me enviaron Seur para recoger el Disco duro, lo estudiaron, me hicieron una presupuesto sin compromiso y tras aceptarlo, hice el pago y me lo enviaron.

Die Empfehlung meines IT-Beraters, PETERS COMPUTER Eutin, mich vertrauensvoll an Sie zu wenden, war eine Punktlandung. Ausnahmslos alle meine mir sehr wichtigen Dateien (u. a. meine komplette, hochwertige Photosammlung) haben Sie gerettet. Das Verfahren war unkompliziert, aber nach meiner Einschätzung sehr professionell und streng geschützt (mir sehr wichtig!!). Vielen Dank!
Den für einen Privatmann sehr hohen Preis, den ich damit aber nicht kritsieren möchte, werde ich irgendwann verschmerzen können.

Schneller Service, gute Kommunikation.
Leider konnten keine Daten mehr hergestellt werden, dafür entstanden aber auch keine Kosten - sehr fair!

I recently had a 5TB Seagate plug-in drive die on me ... a drive for which I had no back up because, well, backing up was on my list of things to do.
