Signed up with onthemoov to ensure the process was smooth and efficient, and I also received a good quote.
Was assigned a paralegal at Ackroyd Legal. The paralegal was very slow, non responsive to my emails, very poor communication so had to keep chasing Chloe for an update. Chloe was good at responding and providing me with an update when prompted. I hadn't heard anything for 4 weeks after all the ID and funds verification, turns out the paralegal was doing nothing for 4 weeks and only started working on my case once I kept asking for an update. Then there was a delay from the sellers solicitors providing a draft contract, which my solicitors had no urgency chasing. After 12 weeks and many emails to Chloe as there was still no progress, I then received a call from the manager Ollie. The manager is an absolute tool with no customer service skills, as he called me and the first thing he said was "I just wanted to call to clarify things as you are contradicting yourself in your emails". Who starts off the conversation like that?! He then tried to pass the blame solely onto the sellers solicitors, but then couldn't justify why the paralegal from my solictors had done nothing for 4 weeks.
Its taken 16 weeks for a simple first time buyer to purchase a property that was not in a chain and no complications. How easier could it be?!
Price- Absolute scam, was given an inaccurate skeleton quote of £1,562.40, but at the end I ended up paying £2,036.40 in total. I can understand a discrepancy but this is ridiculous. Called OntheMoov about this and they did not care.
Please do not use this company, they are absolutely shocking. Terrible customer service and false fees. Just go straight to a solicitors, it will be more efficient and cheaper!

Received great service from Chloe and the Team when purchasing a house recently, someone always there to help with any questions I had and the Solicitors were great.

So far an excellent experience. It's too early to rate the whole service because the conveyancing is ongoing but so far it has been 5*. Chloe Townsend was engaged, responsive, friendly and efficient in sending my quote, answering my questions then setting me up on the system. She took the trouble to call me to take payment when I requested it. The work has been started promptly and now it's just a waiting game. The online system is easy to follow as were the other pieces of admin that I've completed. I look forward to moving at the earliest opportunity and am sure that Talah, the Solicitor allocated to me, is going to do their utmost to progress matters as quickly as they can.

On the move was great. My purchase completed in 6 weeks! The staff were efficient and educated and I always got a prompted response. Im so happy and I will recommend onthemoov to anyone looking for a conveyancer.

This is my fifth house move and I can honestly say I have never experienced anything like this.
25th October - I appointed Onthemoov to look after a property purchase. They appointed a Hutchins & Co - Solicitor to look after the conveyance. We were asked to complete Express Move packs which were completed and sent in on the 4th November. No acknowledgement of receipt, just radio silence. On the 16th November I requested an update via e-mail. I was informed that the case had been moved to a different Hutchins & Co Solicitor. I complained strongly to Onthemoov on the 29th November with regards the lack of communication and overall terrible service. I was told the solicitor was now reviewing the contract pack. Our estate agents informed us that Hutchins & Co had received the contract pack on the 1st November. Today is the 7th December, I have never heard or had any response from the newly appointed solictor in any shape or form. I called today and was informed the initially appointed solicitors was now reviewing the contract pack. To sum it up despite being instructed on the 25th October, receiving the contract pack on the 1st November. Hutchins has done nothing for a total of six weeks. Onthemoov have been made aware of this situation through out and don't not seem to have any control/influence over the third parties that they are using.

Following the one star review on trust pilot Onthemoov acted swiftly to remedy the lack of progress. I was allocated a third Hutchins solicitor. This time progress overall has been very good.

Quick response and good communication, as my sale fell through also good that I am not completely out of pocket as no sale no fee in terms of solicitors costs and action to date. I can go back to onthemove when I secure another buyer.

It's a minefield doing something like this when you're not really clued up about it. The process was smooth, quick and all my questions were answerd in an easy to understand format.

Chloe from OTM was so helpful from start to finish her communication the whole way through our transaction was fab. She put us in touch with a great law firm and conveyancer at Hutchins and Co and still emailed and called to check in! Would 100% recommend OTM.

Chloe assigned us with the best conveyancer we’ve ever worked with and was on hand throughout in a really accessible way to support us. Fixed an incredibly competitive price especially for the quality of experience we had. Highly recommend.

I am modifying my original review that I Posted on 14th November, where everything was going down south to a 5 star review, courtesy the great work done since by the onthemoov team and them pulling all stops to ensure my conveyancing happens on time. I will use them again and yes they do go the extra mile to help you out, the journey might not be smooth but they do hand hold you and help you reach the goal. Special thanks to Ollie

I am untrusting of finding someone on line to do anythingChloe humoured me by allowing me to visit her in person and paying on site
She then was prompt and efficient in getting a good firm Of solicitors to do the transaction of sale
I was extremely pleased with the price and her answering all my questions
I will definitely use on the move again
