Was 6th character needed or not?

I was having a problem with the system stating that a code I was using was not consistent to be sent to the insurance. The first time it stated that it needed an additional character - the next it stated it was improper for the date of service. I tried to get clarification, but your system just stated what it had before. I looked to the AAPC to find out that there was a date the code needed the sixth digit and went from there. You should have been able to state this -- also, it took over 4 months that the 6th character was required until you inserted the codes into your system.

Office Ally is a great product - needs minor upgrades

Office Ally is a great product and easy to use. I have used it for over 10 years. It does need some simple upgrades. When you update information on the Appointment or Visit tab it does not carry through to Claims tab. This should be live adjustment on all screens. When insurance payer retracts money is it hard to post when other patient accounts are involved.

I requested help finding where I can…

I requested help finding where I can match insurance payments with case numbers. I had been going through the online user instructions and they did not match with the current office ally service tab interface. All they had to do was send me a li k to an updated tutorial. Instead I was told I had to schedule time with an instructor. I don’t need to waste my time or yours doing an online class when all I need is the user manual for current office ally functions

Easy to use

I have been with Office Ally for over 15 years. They have very good customer service and are reliable in submitting claims.

Actually all of my Office Ally…

Actually all of my Office Ally experience has been great, even though I didn't take the How to File a Secondary Claim course because I was 2 minutes late and couldn't get in, ence the loss of one star. It worked out that I didnt't need to file a secondary claim but perhaps it would be good to know and perhaps I could get that information in a document and not have to do a Team call at a specific time.

Generally I appreciate the "user…

Generally I appreciate the "user -friendliness" of Office Ally but recently they were very confusing about where to put my NPI number on claim forms. I finally figured it out through trial and error because they use too much jargon when referring to the forms. Also, they have raised their fee quite a bit in a short period of time. It's worth it, but still it was quite a jump.

Great System

This is a great system for start-up or established businesses. Daily usage is easy, training not hard or boring. Help is always a call or email away, with great responses. I work with two doctors and love the program.

Useless customer service

I have been having issues with eprescribing for over a week now, initially unable to prescribe controlled substances, now even my regular prescriptions are not going through, I have called customer service multiple times and spoke to them after long wait times, they have not fixed my problem and obviously it is impacting my practice and patient care. I will report them to BBB, this is totally unacceptable.

Absolute crooks who try to charge you even though you never agreed to any billing. They won't let you cancel your account either. DO NOT EVEN GIVE THEM YOUR EMAIL.

Responding to the company response:

You found me because you're calling me asking me to change my review. I will not do that. I suggest you also reach out to the person (who is not me) that is mentioned in the email chain you sent me. I have no idea who that person is and given their profession I am sure they would want to know about a potential privacy breach from their EHR provider.

Website is reliable

Website is reliable. Some minor complaints because you added ind. or org. provider and that creates problems entering in name, address, etc. which wasn't the case before.

Office Ally offers a great service!

Our office has used Office Ally for about 19 years. It is an easy to use website, with a lot of help if needed. I highly recommend them to process claims, get EOBs and remits.

Sooo much easier to file my claims. Thank you!

I really love that it is no longer stressful to file claims and, especially, the ease with which to find out the problems with my claims. I will say, I was unable to find where to "pay my bill" in the New platform, so I had to return to the Classic.

very good billing program...a bit pricey for a sole practioneer

I have used this for years now, and continue to use the classic program. Very easy to use and keeps great track of recently submitted claims and past claims...my only disappointment is the cost per month has continuously increased and my claim submissions have been constant over 10 years...

Terrible support

Terrible support - I put in 3 tickets over the past weekend (1/11/25) and still no response (today is Wednesday, 1/15/25). So called, but on hold today for over one hour. Their phone recording encourages clients to visit their website to log a support ticket - why?

PracticeMate is a reliable

PracticeMate is a reliable, convenient way for me to file claims. As a solo-practicioner though it is pricey. It would be better if there were service pricing layers for practicioners like me.
