Sold ticket for non-existent bus

They sold me a ticket for a bus that never came. The price was quoted in euros, but the billing after I completed the purchase was in Ukrainian currency. So whether it was a scam company or what, I don't know, but in any case I had to scramble to find alternative transport. It looks like they're refunding my money, so an extra star for that, but I'd rather not have wasted my time and energy dealing with this nonsense in the first place.

02 Temmuz 2025’te O-Bilet üzerinden araç kiralaması yaptım. 06 Temmuz’da aracı teslim almak için Sabiha Gökçen Havalimanı’na gittiğimde, kredi notum gerekçe gösterilerek araç verilmedi. O güne kadar birçok kez araç kiraladım ve hiçbirinde bu tür bir sorun yaşamadım.

Müşteri hizmetleriyle görüştüğümde sadece ücret iadesi yapılabileceği söylendi. Bu denli büyük bir firmadan, başka bir firmaya yönlendirme veya çözüm odaklı bir yaklaşım beklerdim ama hiçbir destek sunulmadı.

Şile’den yalnızca aracı teslim almak için gitmiştim ve o gün acil olarak araca ihtiyacım vardı. Tüm kiralama firmalarını dolaştıktan sonra büyük uğraşlarla bir araç bulabildim ve kredi notumla ilgili hiçbir engel yaşanmadı.

Yaşadığım bu süreç hem zaman hem de kaynak kaybı yarattı. Müşteri memnuniyetine bu kadar uzak bir yaklaşımı kesinlikle kabul etmiyorum ve benzer bir durum yaşamak istemeyenler için bu yorumu bırakıyorum.

I was trying to buy a ticket but there was an error with my payment. I have tried different browsers, bank cards, the app and nothing worked. They have told me that the problem is from the bank but when I spoke with the representatives from BOTH of my banks - they said that that the site of obilet did not send them a request/validation. So first they were blaming the wrong people, then they were finding excuses and at the end they refused to escalate my chat. I lost two hours with them. Awful quality! They even thought I was booking a flight instead of bus!? Awful quality

Wider accessibility, lower price

I like that the application brings toghether more companies and you can buy tickets for all of them from the same app. The price is also often lower in the app. The only inconvenient may be that sometimes you cannot select intermediate stops (for instance, if you want to get-off in rural areas).

My Obilet Regret

My Obilet Regret: My Money Has Been Missing for 30 Days!

On April 8, I purchased a ticket using my debit card through the Obilet website. Although the payment was deducted from my account, no ticket was issued. When I contacted customer service, I was told there was a system error and the payment would be refunded.

As of today, it has been exactly 30 days, yet there is still no refund and no resolution. Every time I call, I am told to "contact the bank," but my bank confirms that no refund request has been initiated by Obilet.

Throughout this process, my issue has never been resolved; it has only been delayed repeatedly. Obilet has clearly exceeded the legally mandated refund period of 20 business days, and I’ve had to chase the matter on my own. Additionally, I found dozens of similar complaints on various review platforms, which makes me suspect that this may be a recurring issue, possibly even intentional.

I simply wanted to purchase a plane ticket in exchange for my money. Instead, Obilet withdrew the amount from my account without providing any service in return. As of today, I have neither received a refund nor the ticket I paid for. This experience has been nothing but a waste of time and effort — a complete regret.

Furthermore, customer service ended the call abruptly with statements like, "You may use your legal rights; there is nothing else we can do."

Service is awful

Service is awful! I bought the tickets to Istanbul and this bus didn't pick up me on the gas station Shell, which was noticed in the ticket. The bus did not turn off the highway to the stop, but sped along the highway next to it. And during a few days I try to receive my money for tickets but obilet.com doesn't make a refund.
I don't recommend this service!!! Be careful!!!

I bought a ticket online, waited at the stop for half an hour, but the minibus never showed up. When I called to ask what was going on, they casually laughed and said, "Oh, we haven’t had a stop there for years!" Seriously?! If you know that, why are you still selling tickets for a non-existent stop?

Total lack of professionalism and respect for customers. Avoid this company unless you want to be stranded for no reason!
