regarding repeated service failures on…

regarding repeated service failures on Route 9 involving bus 2072. This is now my second complaint this week, as the situation has escalated to an unacceptable level.

On both Monday and Tuesday morning, the number 9 bus arrived significantly late, causing me to arrive late to work on both days. However, the incident that occurred today was far more serious.

This evening, the driver of bus 2072 stopped mid-route and instructed all passengers to get off the bus, claiming the traffic was “too heavy” to complete the route. This decision was made abruptly and without any concern for passenger safety or welfare.

It was dark, raining heavily, and several vulnerable passengers—an elderly man, women, and teenage girls—were left standing in an unfamiliar location. I myself had no idea where I was. The next Route 9 bus was also delayed, meaning I did not arrive home until 19:55, despite finishing work at 16:30.

The driver’s attitude during this incident was dismissive and rude. He could not provide any estimate of how long we would have to wait for another bus. Additionally, his reasoning makes no logical sense: if the traffic was too heavy for him to continue the route, it is unclear why another driver would somehow experience less traffic. Passengers were simply abandoned.

To make matters worse, I was required to pay an additional fare for the next bus, even though the disruption was entirely caused by the driver’s action.


This level of service is unprofessional, unsafe, and highly disruptive.

Extremely disappointing bus service

NX West Midlands busses are always delayed or cancelled without warning. They are frequently overcrowded and untidy. I have experienced multiple instances of bus drivers being rude to passengers. The constant price increases despite declining quality of service summaries how infuriating NX bus service has become.

Never turns up on time if at all never sticks to time tables no point on even having them on a night is the worst u dont even no if the things gonna turn up cant see how they can justify the price increase every year. rubbish there's no other words for it.

WHILE YOU ALL HAVE VALID REASONS TO COMPLAIN ABOUT PRICE HIKES, EXTREMWLY POOR RELIABILITY AND RUDE AND THICK MEMBERS OF STAFF IN ALL AREAS, PLEASE REMEMBER THAT DIRECTOR OF NATIONAL EXPRESS WEST MIDLANDS MARK HEFFERNAN WAS SPARED JAIL FOR FRAUDING GREAT WESTERN RAIL FOR OVER (£11,000 IF NOT MORE!) AND NXWM'S ALLOWED THIS BENT AF CROOK TO JOIN THEIR BOARD OF DIRECTORS KNOWING FINE WELL OF HIS CRIMINAL CONVICTION OF FRAUDING PUBLIC SERVICES!

Appalling service

Appalling service, and given the price you'd pay for a monthly bus pass it's absolutely not worth it. You'll easily wait 25 minutes for a service that's supposed to run every 15.

97 bus

I was on the 97 4940 today at around 19:40 and the driver is honestly so nice he literally went out of his way to stop for customers to get on and I noticed they didn’t even say thank you I usually hate the bus but I wish him well and a thank you!!!!

Driver purposely drove off early despite seeing me running for the bus


Absolutely disgraceful behaviour from the bus driver this morning!

I was running to catch the X8 bus from Wolverhampton station at around 07:16. The bus was scheduled to depart at 07:19, so I was well within time. I was literally just seconds away, right there, when the driver deliberately shut the doors and pulled away early. It was clearly intentional, as he had been sitting idly at the wheel until he noticed me running, before suddenly closing the doors and driving off.

Because of this driver’s petty and unprofessional actions, I ended up being late for work!

This kind of behaviour is completely unacceptable. Passengers rely on drivers to follow the timetable and show a basic level of decency, something this driver clearly lacked. It’s infuriating to see someone go out of their way to inconvenience others, especially when I was clearly making every effort to get there on time. I genuinely hope this incident is taken seriously and addressed, because no passenger should be treated like that.

Just all round shocking, poor management, execution of routes, just been thrown off a bus miles from my stop because it is so late it needs to miss a few stops to catch up! Never fail to disappoint after all these years.

Worst bus company ever!

Horrendous! Been waiting for the 25 Pendeford for over an hour as have many people at Bolton bus station, don’t rely on them use other services were possible and avoid these!

AGAIN Saturday night NO 22.11 number…

AGAIN Saturday night NO 22.11 number 6.NO 22.41 number 6.What is going on with this awful service.How does the numbers 2,3,4,4a,5 all turn up.Considering the 6 timetable has been updated from 28th September for a more frequent service unless you're waiting at night It's a joke of a service.

In order for a bus service

In order for a bus service to work you have to actually let people on the bus. It’s ridiculous how snobby some of these drivers are where they refuse to stop and let people on, or shut the door on people trying to get on. This is a public bus service. All anyone wants to do is get to their destination and this service is making that ten times harder.

Slow but did sort out our complaint

they Took a week to tell us the payment hadn't worked and when we called at 4 40 we were on hold for 20 minutes and then it cut off and says it is not open until 9 am. However after about 10 days of complaining they acknowledged fault and refunded money for the error. Which has amended so of my anger

bus drives past waiting passengers at bus stop

can you explain to myself and the good people of birmingham , why your drivers ( not all) are driving passed your paying passengers , it seems to be happening more and more. Because we are all interested in what you have to say , cause in my eyes it’s a joke , which none of us are finding funny any more .
