I have never encountered a company…
I have never encountered a company doing business like this. I originally thought highly of them and this is my second being on their program. This time was hell. I have attempted twice to reach out via phone which was over an hour of waiting just to be advised they can’t cancel. This is already terrible due to the company having no option to cancel online. Everyone can’t sit on hold waiting to speak with someone that is going to try to talk you into keeping the service. They haven’t even placed the food in boxes yet, but they can’t cancel. If I return the boxes I have to wait a month for a refund? And I can only return half of the order because the rest I have to keep. Great customer service is valuable experience when working with a company and all I’ve received is “I can’t help”. I can honestly say this one will never have my business again.

NUTRISYSTEM will NOT let you CANCEL
NOWHERE in their website you can CANCEL.
The response from their "email contact us" is one more marketing propaganda and NOT the answer to your question.
They ignore requests for delays.They DUMP their frozen products outside where they melt . They do not ring your bell. Their emails are only marketing.
They have so many phone numbers that they bounce you from one to the other and waiting times in excess of 1 hour or more.

IF YOU WANT TO CANCEL..DO THIS FIRST
I have been reading many of the complaints re: Cancellation of Plan and must agree. This is the most frustrating process that is not customer friendly AT ALL. I had the same experience.....no online ability to cancel, no one responds to chat, long waits on the phone with no response. So I sent an email...two, actually, informing them of my desire to CANCEL. Now this is where you MUST TAKE THE NEXT STEP....CALL your credit card company and place a BLOCK on Nutri System being able to take funds from your account. I did this proactively because I suspected they might send my order anyway DESPITE my repeated attempts to CANCEL. THIS WORKED...they did try to debit my account and it was REJECTED! Guess what? Immediate response and they didn't ship and they didn't get my money then and, because of the terrible customer service...will never again!

Scam of the century
Scam of the century - no where on website to cancel membership, finally emailed and got a cancellation confirmation then a month later, they shipped my next order and charged my credit card $360. Called customer service 3 times - was on hold a total of 152 minutes, no one ever picked up so I gave up. Emailed 4 times with no response. Now I have to put a dispute in with my credit card company and hope Fedex reads my large sign I posted on the porch that I refuse any shipment from Nutrisystem. One Question tells the whole story...if you are a legit, customer friendly company, why don't you have a "cancel my membership" option on your website...Answer...so you can scam people. Also filing a BBB complaint as well.

Nutrisystem sends you whatever they want; ignores your selections
I am on my second month of Nutrisystem. My biggest complaint BY FAR, is this: you never get what you order.
MONTH ONE SHIPMENT:
* Received food I did not order
* Received frozen food that was not at all frozen
* Made three calls to Nutrisystem "customer service" (why do they call it that when waiting for 30+ minutes is the OPPOSITE of service??) - wait time was atrocious. (Having said that, one of the ladies who finally answered was super.)
MONTH TWO SHIPMENT:
* Received food I did not order (THIRTEEN breakfast burritos).
* Tried the website "chat" feature, got nowhere
* Called the "customer service" number, finally spoke to Tiffany after 29 minutes on hold. Tiffany basically told me I had to watch the website everyday to see when the items I wanted came back in stock and then call them back. Again, great "customer service."
Bottom lines:
1) Nutrisystem says you can choose your own food but then sends you whatever they want. (Been my experience two months in a row now.)
2) The red "low inventory" warning on food items SHOULD SAY, "this is out of stock. Select something else." RATHER THAN, "don't order any more of this [than is already in your cart] because you *might* get a replacement."
Not sure how I feel about this company. Borderline scammers.

Billing issues
My order processed this morning. It was supposed to be $337.88 but I was charged $656.05! I can't reach anyone on the phone and facebook messenger isn't getting a response either, so I am trying this avenue. I have also sent an email with all necessary details to the email shown by NS with others who are having issues and can't get anyone to answer the phone. I am so tempted to contest the charge with my cc, and if they cancel my subscription altogether, so be it.

Nutrisystem is a scam
Nutrisystem is a scam. I have tried to cancel my order by phone, email and chat and cannot get in touch with anyone. They have run an unauthorized charge to my credit card. If I have to sue them, I will be happy to. This is the most unprofessional company that I have dealt with. If I could give them less than one star I would. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was dreading the cancellation process, but I left my phone number for a call back, and received a call 1 hour later. She politely cancelled my subscription.
The food is great! in my opinion. I knew when I subscribed I only could do 2 months.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
I just received my nutrisystem order today and found a big surprise: they sent me 16 pizzas instead of the meals that I ordered. After sitting on hold for 1 hour and 34 minutes, Liz answered the customer service line. She said that they substituted the pizzas because they were out of the rest and that this was standard procedure. I protested but she said that they have the right to substitute and that was it. I said no way is that acceptable to anyone but she insisted that it was the way they do business. I demanded repeatedly to speak to a supervisor and was finally put on hold. Ater a long wait Liz returned and said that I could return the order at my expense. I finally just told her that we were done and I would let my attorney deal with this. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!! I called a friend who is on her second order of Jenny Craig and she says that their food is way, way better and the company great. Guess where I am going.

Can't cancel my membership
I have been trying to cancel my membership for 1 week now! Called twice and waited 2 hours and had to hang up because I didn't have anymore time to wait. Waited the 2 hours BOTH times. I have emailed 3 times now with no response. I also find it odd that I see someone from the CS department has responded to these reviews within the last few days but have not replied to any of my emails that were sent a week ago!! I have NEVER dealt witha company that literally makes it impossible to cancel your membership.

Horrible customer service.
Food is great! Easy to follow program and honestly, if it wasn’t for the poor customer service I would still be a member. I’ve been on hold for 1.5 hours at this point simply attempting to delay my order date because it will not allow me to delay online, no one connects to chat and the only option I have is to be on the phone (in the middle of my incredibly busy day) just to make any adjustment. At this point I am cancelling and will NOT go back. Absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional. Every response to a negative review is the same- they do not care about their customers and everyone receives the same blanket response with no helpful suggestions other than to call- and they NEVER answer. Went from 4/5 stars to 1/5 stars. Will not support this company going forward.

Just received a large box of smelly, spoiled food
Just received a large box of smelly, spoiled, and disgusting stuff. My order was placed August 25, 2022 and was just received today, September 9, 2022. I called last week to question its whereabouts and was told in was on its way. I said, “this is a box of all frozen product”, it’ll be melted by the time I get it. The extremely smart customer service person said “well, let’s see if it’s frozen when you get it”. Let’s see??????? It traveled from Georgia to Tracey, California where it sat for 5 days, then on to Arizona, it found its way to 3 different cities in Texas, then this frozen box traveled to 2 different cities in Louisiana, then on to Ocala, Florida and then to Port St. Lucie, Florida. Well just now it showed up on my doorstep, and you know what???????????? It’s all melted, the smell is all in my home. This is so unacceptable and disgusting. I should’ve have read these reviews before making this decision. So, Miss Smart Lady Rep from last week, yeah frozen stuff can’t last 10 days. FYI

I ordered once a time from Nutrisystem and the other month i did not order anything . But they send me a message that my delivery on way and they charged me the second month by default . I tried to call their number but nobady answered me i waited hours by hours on the line . They are like a ghost company . I tried to cancel WHICH IDONT ORDER. The third day i reached them and the customer care representative was so rude blaming me that when i ordered the first month it means that it will continue forever . She was telling me that no way to cancel . As a customer we did not have to know all in detailed while online shopping . It is not our fault ı did not give any commitment to them . If you wanna order sth from them be careful . No way to cancel . First try to call them nobody is answering . At the end she told me to cancel the package but still charging the money ????? What kind of attitude is that ???? BE CAREFUL to order from this company . They will charge you forever

Right now I’m waiting on hold. It’s been over an hour. I’m staying on so I can cancel my account. This wait alone tells me I’ll never come back to Nutrisystem.

This company should not be able to…
This company should not be able to continue to operate. I followed all directions to get my refund after I canceled my orders. I was told to ship back the non frozen goods and then I will just call them with my tracking number and they will refund me the money. Well, no one will answer the phone, no one will respond to chat, and no response to emails sent to customer service. Then 2 weeks after I canceled my order and they confirmed it was canceled and the frozen food would not be shipped. They shipped it anyways.

Trouble with cancellation
I have been on the program for a few months and am now attempting to cancel. My initial thought was to take a break and delay my next order for a while. Regardless of the amount of time I selected to delay, I received a response saying you cannot delay your order at this time. Fine, I then decided to cancel all together. However, no one answers their phone! If there are any suggestions, I would certainly appreciate hearing them.
