Nutrisystem why don't you answer your phones?

Nutrisystem why don't you answer your phones or have a call back process instead of being so primitive? I need a RMA# and held for 1 hr yesterday and 2 hrs today and still no one answered. Your guarantee on first order is useless if you don't honor your procedure. Maybe allow RMA# to be obtained online?? Ive sent an email and now waiting for your reply.

Nutrisystem is the worst

Nutrisystem is the worst. They try to get you into this auto pay system and when you cancel they hurry up and process your order. Additionally it is extremely hard to leave an honest review on their site. It’s a scam! And more importantly it does not work! Don’t waste your money! They don’t care about you and your weight loss journey. And god forbid you don’t reach your weight loss journey and you call customer service because all they are going to tell you is it’s your fault! Poor customer service and encouragement.

If you can afford to pay $1000+ a month

It works if you can afford this astronomical prices. If you can’t afford to pay for the monthly “subscription” to their food, they cancel your account and won’t allow you to apply any of the discounts available, even if you earned them through the NuMi app, and you have to pay full price for the food. It’s ridiculous and unaffordable. And the most affordable plan is still $300+ a month, that only covers part of your food, and you still have to buy additional groceries. WHO CAN AFFORD THAT FOR ONE PERSON! Especially with the current money situation going on in the world. I’ve contacted customer service and it’s a joke. The chat rep stopped responding after the 1 and only suggestion she threw at me didn’t work. I’ve been on hold for over an hour now and still haven’t been able to speak to anyone. It’s just a scam to bleed us poor fat people dry.

So this company is constantly spamming my inbox with their weightloss product. in a week i get 30 emails from them. I kindly asked them to stop but they dont respons. Really shady and above all annoying.

I never bought anything from them. Nor will i.

A complete SCAM

A complete SCAM. I ordered for one month and didn’t love the products / didn’t see the results I wanted. I checked my account to make sure I didn’t have auto delivery because I definitely didn’t want to do a second month. I woke up to my bank account overdraft and another month of Nutrisystem charged. When I called she told me there was nothing I could do because the order went through at 2:15am and it was already processing, even though no FedEx label was created. I asked to cancel my future shipments and she said that I needed to wait 7 days or else I’d get hit with another $125 fee. read the fine print. I’d recommend another weight loss program because this one is a money scam.

Update: still a scam. I tried cancelling my membership. The woman on the phone said my membership was cancelled and I’d receive confirmation via email. I never got an email and when I call to confirm, I’m on hold for hours. I emailed the people below in hopes to get a response.

Untrustworthy, Lacking Integrity, and Customer "NO" Service

I contacted NS in April to cancel my subscription. The service agent talked me into pausing my subscription and that NS would reach back out to me at a later date to confirm if I changed my mind on the cancelation. No one from NS reached out to me until I received an email yesterday that the order shipped and I saw an email from PayPal that my account was charged. I contacted NS this evening requesting to return the food they shipped without my approval and they won’t allow me to return the perishable foods that I didn’t order. And the non perishable it's are on the way to me. I spoke with Kristin and them her supervisor Mike, who was not willing to take back 100% of the unauthorized order. I am not responsible for this order since I never authorized it. My account with NS has now been closed and I expect a full refund.

I've been a loyal customer for many…

I've been a loyal customer for many years. There is a problem with a shipment now and customer service has been worthless... they continue to lie and say the order shipped on the 1st even after I provided them with a screenshot of tracking from the 4th showing they never gave FedEx possession of the pkg (today's the 5th and they still haven't shipped my order). They deny any issue exists, refuse to look into the issue, and continue their blatant false claims that the order shipped 5 days ago when tracking clearly shows it never shipped.

So it appears I'm going to have to dispute the cc charge and go elsewhere.

The company is committing false…

The company is committing false advertising. I signed up for one month of food (packing slip even says that). I received 22 meals. On what planet does any month have 22 days? I contacted them.....they said the other days in month you are supposed to eat your own food. That is NOT a month's worth of food THEY are providing. I can see by their reply....they are totally avoiding the issue of advertising a "months worth of food"........

Hidden fees! And not small fees. I got charged $125 cancellation fee which was not disclosed to me when I signed up. I signed up for what was sold as a one month program and then was told I could only cancel after the month if I paid $125. Shady!

The second option will require you to take two shipments in order to retain the discount received as we cannot extend this to a one-time order. If you sign up for the discounted rate and discontinue prior to a second shipment, you are subject to the $125.00 fee. All that we ask to keep this discount is to accept two shipments.

One would expect to have decent healthy…

One would expect to have decent healthy food if the company has the word nutrition right in its name. The food is not only bad, but filled with chemicals, and fillers and the number of chocolate bars that come for breakfast and/or snacks are sickening. The beef merlot sounds gourmet, right? The small amount of beef strips were gristle and tough to eat. The chicken parmesan was unrecognizable and obviously made with fillers. The snacks are filled with sugar and salt. I wanted a food delivery for the summer months, but this was a big mistake. Out of all the other food delivery services that I could have chosen, this surely rates at the bottom. I'm now going to have to deal with the poor customer service I have read about in other reviews.

My first month was fine, but……

My first month was fine. They choose for me, we’ll package and pretty good tasting. I got the most expensive plan which was much more than I was lead to believe with the “50%” off,,,, not close. My second order dry box was received today. All cookies were crushed all bars melted.packing was jammed in the save sending another or bigger box. Very disappointed. I tried calling but no answer as I prefer speaking directing with people prior to posting a complaint

Nutrisystem a nightmare!!!

What a nightmare! They can't ship; they can't bill you and the food is mediocre at best. I just cancelled today after their not being able to charge my credit card or ship the food purchased. Twice in a 5 week period, they didn't charge my card correctly. The shipments came melted AND the replacements for the shipments came melted even after talking to them about packing correctly and putting in extra dry ice. I hope the cancellation works-- we'll see.

Reply to Nutrisystems:
Of course, they want to take this offline through their customer service email. Been there, done that. I've emailed, called, chatted etc. I don't have time to deal with Nutrisystems 4 times in a 5 week period. I've cancelled my account and am not interested in any further contact with them unless they get the account termination wrong-- which is a distinct possibility.

Worst meal plan ever

Worst meal plan ever. The food is terrible but what’s worse is the customer service. I think that it’s absolutely BS that you have a “contract” where you have to buy three months worth of items before canceling. That’s what I was told and then when I do want to cancel I can’t get someone to actually respond to me! I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but this one deserved it. There’s no customer service at all.

Beware...

Well, I just cancelled the whole dammed thing.

I actually liked the food and did lose weight. I still have two weeks of food left. But, I got an email about my next, "auto order". OK. I don't recall signing up for a subscription thing, but maybe I missed it. That's fine. I'll just cancel the auto thing and order ala cart when I'm ready.

I started to suspect something was up when I couldn't find anything on the website to allow your to cancel the order, only delay it. When I called, they said I had to pay an "early cancellation" fee.

So I told them to shove it, canceled my order and my account. They'll still steal $120 from me but that's a lesson learned. Don't do business with scammers and cheats.

Stay away

I've had success on nutrisystem many years ago (was even flown to philadelphia to be in a promotional video for them) and managed to keep the weight off for years until COVID hit. Needed to lose 20 pounds so I went on it again. The customer service is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE NOW. Couldn't be worse. Every single month the frozen food arrived either on the day that I would run out of food, or a day or two after. Last month when I called to complain, the told me they've been experiencing shipping delays and for this month to push the order up by a few days and it should take care of it. I pushed my order up 5 days, which was May 26, and on June 1, got a notification that my order shipped. On their website, it STILL says "Just shipped", but when I contact FedEx, they tell me that only a label has been printed and the package has never reached the hands of Fedex. Ran out of food already, and radio silence from the company. On June 5, the "reshipped" another frozen order, on expedited shipping. It still hasn't shipped, and as frozen food only ships monday-thursday, looks like It won't before the weekend, and I won't receive til at minimum, next wedensday, which will be 3 full weeks after renewing what was supposed to be an autoship. Although I like the food and have success on the program, no way can I recommend the program as they cannot get their s*** together enough to ship properly and within their designated window so their clients can stay on their diet. Stay far away from this crap company.

Nutrasystems is a scam to get you on monthly billing and its next to impossible to CANCEL as they put you on HOLD and leave you there, the email links and chat does not work. Not to mention the food is over processed crap that tastes terrible. had to contact my credit card co. to stop payment and complain. Stay away from this rip off company. Should have a Class Action Suit, Check out the Better Business Bureau reviews, 2 Stars out of 5 with MANY like complaints.

Horrible customer service, Part Deux

Horrible customer service. They changed the price for the second shipment, despite the confirmation when ordering that the price would remain the same for subsequent shipments. Called and was promised a call back from a supervisor, and this never happened (this happened several times, promise for a call back, but no response). They stated that they could review my call, which would prove the promised price, but since no one would return my calls, this never occurred. There are other companies that provide similar services that I would recommend over Nutrisystem, as their ignorance is so frustrating and not user friendly. Further, trying to reach the "24/7" support only reached a message that no one is available, and to try again later. I agree with other reviewers that the emphasis is getting your money, but not offering the support nor human contact to discuss issues. My dispute response only was relayed to me from a worker who had no authority to correct the issue, and they apologized in that "this is what I was told to say". Hence, I was given the "company" line, and not attended to courteously by one who was capable to resolve the problem ethically. Avoid the unnecessary aggravation and look into other plans, e.g. Jenny Craig, WW.
Part Deux
As you can see, Customer Service from Nutrisystem did respond and encouraged me to write my concerns directly to them, offering me the contact. I took the time to do so, explained myself again, and offered multiple contacts, including my home phone. It has been some time since I did so, and no response WHATSOEVER was forthcoming. Hence, they only supported my contention of the horrible customer service. The response from them to my first review only appeared to be optics of concern on their part, with no responsible behavior. They only served to waste more of my time in responding, and further verified my original concern. They are non-caring, irresponsible and only concerned with pecuniary gains. I would NOT recommend them!!!! Thank you all.

My frozen order

My frozen order, delivered a day late of posted delivery period, was melted. I had been tracking my items and on the last day of expected delivery period, my items were in Las Vegas, where I live. Instead of items being delivered, they now were going to Phoenix. The next day, my unfrozen items made their way back to Las Vegas. I had to throw away two thirds of the order. Melted. The dry ice didn’t even survive. Several of the ice cream sandwiches near top where dry ice originally was, were half melted so I tried to refreeze those items.
I have emailed Nutrisystem customer service numerous times. Sent copy of packing order slip, etc. they send me emails saying they can’t find my order. They need to have my address. They found my order and it was delivered May 19th. Now mind you, I have already sent them all that info in my first couple emails. So I resend and resend the info. I received an email today telling me my order was delivered on May 19th. No kidding. I originally emailed I would like a refund or a replacement. They will not do anything but send me irrelevant and actually emails to me as if I am a stupid person. A person who is going to believe all of their ignoring my emails to being an uneducated and unimportant customer. It is downright weird how they are treating me and my problem. I now think they want me to drop it and go away because they have many many customers and all of their money. I am unimportant and my $100 is irrelevant. So, the one star review is because of poor customer service. And they really need to quit using the excuse of high volume because their email responses stink. That has nothing to do high volume of orders. Emails that do not answer or resolve a customer problem is due to uncaring and incompetent customer service employees and policies.
I would not recommend Nutrisystem at this time because they are overwhelmed with all their customers. I’m kidding. I wouldn’t recommend Nutrisystem because of their poor customer service.
