Material is woefully outdated
Material is woefully outdated. Comparing the questions and answers to national government websites, such a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and U.S. Department of Transportation, what this company publishes in the material and quizzes is just plain wrong or subjective. Another example is oil changes... its no longer 3k miles, that was from the 1990s, mileage varies based on type of automobile and oil type. It seems the stats are from mid-2010s and not more recent. Anybody other than these people should be responsible for such important content. What a racket and scam.

Company was very attentive and answered all my questions whether through chat or phone. Also when I started my course it was late. I had an issue and it was unlocked the very next day so that I can continue. Very good customer service.

Absolutely terrible in every way
Absolutely terrible in every way. Timers are too long for the data presented, wasting time. Graphics are poor and wording of the lessons even worse. A lot of irrelevant information is presented, such as documents required to get a license, something everyone already has prior to enrolling in the course. There is ambiguous information, such as car seats being determined by weight alone, which conflicts with the American Association of Pediatrics guidelines.
In regard to the test, the wording of the questions is so poor I guarantee you will scratch your head. Further, the questions require rote memorization of statistics, which doesn’t help anyone drive better.
NTSI really phoned it in. It’s sad that the jurisdictions purchasing their services are wasting our tax dollars, hopefully they are not under the illusion that anyone is learning anything.

Thank you so much for your review with your personal experience with our course. Unfortunately everything you are commenting on is out of our control.
Regarding the timers, this is a state requirement, which is set to a 6th grade pace and NTSI can do nothing about that. We understand it can be frustrating for faster readers. We are constrained in how graphically we can present the course and the language we can use by state law and regulatory interpretations. We are mandated to include all the information you referenced, the state will not approve the course if we do not adhere to their guidelines. Whether the state takes into the account the AAP guidelines I can't say, but I can confirm that the state approved this course and mandates the information in it.
In regard to the test, we will review the wording of the test questions, but again content of the questions are state mandated, and the language is state approved we have very little flexibility in what we can present. The jurisdictions are the exact entities that specify what content the course must have, the speed it plays at, and the graphical content. The course you took was specifically approved bu the jurisdiction.

This is by far the best online traffic safety courses available to the public.
This course has provided me with valuable knowledge in regards to Idaho traffic safety laws and regulations, including details on what data has been collected by NTSI and how it relates to a driver's perception, behavior and road skills. This insight has helped me adapt to circumstances that everyday Americans encounter while driving and make informed decisions when it comes to my own driving behavior, trip/route planning, the penalities for different types of moving violations/convictions, and what safety measures must be done to ensure not only driver and passenger safety, but also the safety of the general public, community infrastructure, and wildlife.

The course was a great source of information
The course was a great source of defensive dring information. I would consider taking this every 4 to 5 years just for a refresher. I would have all young drivers take it high school and part of getting their .license.

Unnecessary delays
The course was made of several modules that are seemingly made to slow you down. Each one made me wait 40-60minutes to go onto the next one There is no reason for this I could have read and completed the course in less than half the time. Also, for some reason you can't print your completion certificate when you're done. It says because it needs to be on special paper which is ridiculous. I cannot recommend this course to anyone.
