great car great reliability nice price

Used Northside for several years when we come over to Perth. Really good prices and the service is spot on. Never had any issues renting from them . Would definitely recommend.

The process was quick. May be the front desk staff need to smile a little. On return there was no shuttle provided, if required had to wait for an hour. Need to accommodate customers a little better.

Had a great experience with the truck I booked for the day. No fuss over a late pickup and drop off, very helpful gentleman on the front desk (even though he seemed to be a bit sad, he still provided excellent service), swift & easy and a good price. Would recommend.

Best rental car service we’ve ever used. Very affordable, great quality, super flexible service and above and beyond in the effort they make to maintain excellent customer service. Kylie was an absolute star! Thank you! Will use Northside again next time we return to Busso/Margaret River!

Everything was fine until the radiator blew up
The plastic radiator tank split on the top of the radiator next to the filler cap.
They decided it was driver error and then proceeded to charge my card for nearly 2100 even though the repairs were 1600 they already charged me 500 when it happen and forgot about it.
When I disputed the bill (500 too much) and also that I shouldn't be paying at all as it wasn't driver error it was a mechanical fault. The pit it in the hands of a collection agent within 5 days of the occurrence adding an extra $180
I paid it to preserve my credit rating but no lawyer (tried ten) would take it on as they said it'd cost me more to recover the funds than what I'd already paid (even though I said I didn't care)
The car was even overdue for a service when I rented it
The collection agent dropped 500 after I showed them I'd already been billed but stilled charged his fee.

Avoid these bastards or use at your own peril

We Hired a 12 seat Van for a trip in the Desborough aera. Kylie made huge accommodations for us to ensure we could collect and drop off the van at unusual places and unusual hours. Her service was incredible and I would use Northside Rentals again.

Very good service! Staff over the counter is friendly and concern about my credit card issue. Very patiently waiting for me to call up my debit card bank to find out problem why I can’t use my debit card ( I didn’t activate my international use). The car Mazda CX-3 2024 is new and clean, doesn’t consume much oil. Had a pleasant ride on my honeymoon vacation!

Very helpful staff to deal with from start to finish.
Hired a nice LDV 12 seater to show my guests around the south west. All passengers commented it was very comfortable, it was a pleasure to drive and good on fuel.
Bond was back in my bank on day of return thanks very much Northside.👍👍👍

Northside provided a spanking clean current model low mileage CX3 at a rate that was far below anyone else. Booking was easy and I collected after hours, so had to get a cab from Perth airport to Kewdale (grumpy driver since it was a short trip, recommend use Uber rather than a taxi, I had a lax in judgement and felt sorry for the taxi industry!).

The keys were in a lockbox and access was simple - in 2 minutes we were underway. Drop off was also easy and photos were emailed to me within the day. Just waiting for the refund of deposit, probably later today.

Definately obe to use - I'll make a point of it next time. There is a shuttle in normal business hours.

I hired a dozen pieces of plant and machinery from North Side Rentals for a project, but unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. Although they were quite prompt with their delivery, the equipment they mobilized to the worksite was faulty, breaking down repeatedly and causing delays in our project. When I contacted them for repairs, their response time was disappointingly slow, further impacting our progress. To make matters worse, they tried to charge me for the malfunctioning equipment, despite it being unreliable and prone to breaking down again. Overall, I cannot recommend North Side Rentals due to the poor quality of their machinery and lack of responsive customer service.
