Nach langem Warten und vielen Schwierigkeiten mit dem deutschen Standesamt haben wir uns zu einer standesamtlichen Trauung mit Hilfe von Nordic adventure weddings in Dänemark entschieden. Schon ab der ersten Anfrage war Lena sehr hilfsbereit, hat uns jede Frage kompetent beantwortet, ist mit uns jedes Dokument bis ins kleinste Detail durchgegangen und war nahezu rund um die Uhr telefonisch, per Mail und WhatsApp erreichbar. Sie half uns bei der Organisation unserer Anreise, hat uns am Standesamt abgeholt und war unsere Trauzeugin. Wir haben zwar nur die standesamtliche Trauung ohne zusätzliche Angebote gewählt, jedoch finde ich das Angebot was Trauungsort, Fotograf, brautstyling usw. betrifft echt super. Mein Mann und ich haben im Standesamt in Maribo geheiratet. Es ist klein und idyllisch, der Raum eher rustikal. Im Nachhinein hätte ich wohl doch lieber noch das eine oder andere Angebot in Anspruch genommen, zumal es letztendlich sogar günstiger wäre als in Deutschland. Wir haben letztlich nicht einmal ein Viertel von dem bezahlt, was es uns in Deutschland gekostet hätte, da wir beide einen Migrationshintergrund haben. Die Bezahlung per gesicherter online Transaktion war zudem sehr einfach. Wer sich für eine Hochzeit in Dänemark entscheidet, dem kann ich Nordic adventure weddings nur wärmstens empfehlen.

We decided spontaneously to get married and were not sure if we could get married due to all the Covid restrictions and the 5 weeks time frame but Lena and Carsten organized everything so the process went smooth and stressfree. The communication with Lena was great. She is very knowledgeable and would respond immediately and answer all my questions. She sent all the paperwork and keep us updated throughout the whole process.
Our wedding day was beautiful at the lake. They had lovely music and delicious champagne picked out.
We would choose Nordic Adventure Weddings over and over again because of their experience, efficiency and especially Lena and Carsten who are such kind people.

My husband and I will always be grateful to Lena and her husband for helping us get married in such a beautiful place! From the very start all the way through to the day we got married, Lena communicated quickly and clearly with us and helped us get everything in order with as little stress as possible. We are an international couple (I'm American, my husband is German), so we were a bit overwhelmed by what to do to make sure we got all the correct paperwork for multiple countries, but it was obvious that Lena was very knowledgeable on this subject and supported us in filling out all the necessary paperwork. She then submitted it all and kept us informed as we waited for the license. It all was clear and fast! The day of our wedding was also just as lovely. We were able to have a nice, short ceremony by the water, with music and celebratory champagne for toasting after! Lena even took photos, which continue to bring us so much joy as we look back on that day fondly. They gave us all necessary information about the lovely city of Maribo, and made travel to Denmark possible during a difficult moment by providing us with everything we needed to know. Carsten is a great driver and delivered us back to Copenhagen with a lot of interesting information about the city. A lot of gratitude to Lena for the organization of our big day. Your amazing work was genuinely valuable from the first e-mail contact to the last shooting photos in front of the cathedral. The nickname of Lena could be "Lucky Luke" not because she can shoot faster than her shadow but because she can solve challenges and find solutions at an incredible speed. She has a high positive energy. She really loves what she does and we can feel it. She had a very high expectation to make the "best day of our life" unforgettable. It was an amazing experience! Lena did her best for us and wedding was absolutely fantastic. The ceremony was like on my dream on the beach, very romantic! I didn’t expect that some one could manage everything so quickly in such a short time, specially during epidemic time! I’ll never forget this special day!

We chose Nordic Adventure Weddings to help us out with our Viking ceremony in Denmark. We thankfully stumbled across them whilst searching for someone to help over the internet, and thank God we did as both Lena and Carlston were the coolest, nicest and quickest people to respond with our enquiries. Their response was consistent leading up to the actual wedding day and beyond, including video calls and constant updating of information, we both felt personally invested in, and not just like a factory 'build'. We had our day sorted, our lodgings, the hairdresser, the photographer, the locations, they even sorted outfits appropriate for a viking ceremony not only for themselves but also the celebrant conducting the ceremony. We were the first people allowed to hand fast in the viking hall in Denmark thanks to these guys hard work and tenacity, they really do their research to ensure you have as smooth a day as possible, even picking us up from our B&B and driving us to each location. Brilliant and a big thankyou to you both from a very satisfied newly wed viking couple, Magda and Adam.

Thank you Lena for your support from the very beginning on all the details required for our marriage. Thanks to you, we did not deal with any paperwork and easily planned all the details such as photographer, make-up artist, hotel. Moreover, you instantly shared the information that Denmark would close the border with Germany and made us immediately set off to make our marriage possible.

Our marriage was far better than we had ever dreamed of. We had a day at Kronborg Castle that we will remember with joy and excitement for a lifetime... We felt like a princess and a prince from the Middle Ages...

My husband and I had a beautiful and intimate wedding day. We were so thrilled to get married and keep our original date. I’m from the US and he’s from Romania. Due to the pandemic we haven’t seen each other for almost 9 months. Lena and her husband did all the planning for us.
