The conversations over emails were nice and informal which made it all the more relaxing and easy to communicate. Whether you're in a long distance like myself, or close distance relationship, they are perfect at handling it and making it all possible with no stress.

Everything is explained fully and clearly at the beginning, then you go onto picking where and when you'd like to get married, also collecting and sorting out documents. With regards to documents, they have to be strict to make sure those documents will get accepted by the AFL, but they make sure they're always professional and helpful with it. They want the process to be as swift and relaxing as much as you do.

Once the documents are all sorted, they'll help you getting a place to stay, recommended things to do during your stay and will check up on you to make sure everything is okay. My husband and I got married in Odense, which was a beautiful place that I would definitely recommend.

If you have any questions about anything, just ask and they're more than happy to help. They also respond within the same day, fairly often within the hour (with the exemption of out of hours and weekends which is completely understandable). Even after your married and the whole process is done, if you ever have any questions in the future, they're always there to help.

Before discovering Getting Married in Denmark, we had initially thought to sort the process out ourselves. Although possible, it's stressful and any mistakes can cost months in wait times with the AFL. This team are professionals at this and know exactly what they're doing, so would definitely recommend using them.

My recommendation for working with Getting Married in Denmark! We are citizens of two different countries, which made it difficult to get married in the country where we currently live. Desde el inicio sabíamos que queríamos llevar los papeles con una agencia y, después de leer opiniones en muchas páginas web, decidimos hacerlo con Getting Married in Denmark. La verdad, fue la mejor decisión que hicimos para empezar a planear nuestra boda en Dinamarca.

Desde el primer momento, luego de contratar el "Complete Service", nos asesoraron en todo y fueron muy amables y pacientes. Siempre responden rápido y con mucha profesionalidad. Nosotros queríamos casarnos en el ayuntamiento de Copenhague y, aunque es cierto que no te pueden asegurar un lugar, sí es verdad que apenas te dan el permiso te dicen cuál es la disponibilidad en el ayuntamiento que quieras. En nuestro caso, fueron muy rápidos y, después de hablar con nosotros, lograron reservar 1 de las 3 fechas que había disponibles en el ayuntamiento de Copenhague en ese momento.

Estamos muy felices, la boda fue genial y, si tuviéramos que hacerlo todo de nuevo, lo volveríamos a llevar con esta agencia. También nos apostillaron los certificados de matrimonio y demoraron solo dos días en enviárnoslos desde la boda (a otro país).

We first reached out to the agency in summer 2025 and the wedding was in March 2026. We initially paid the Essential Service, then upgraded to the Complete Service. We also paid for the Apostille Service.
Initially, we received the Free Service, which was more useful than online information because it already helped us build an approximate time line. It was the first step to make a concrete plan.
After payment, we received a list of documents and clear instructions on how to build our application. The team was responsive, provided good feedback. Upgrading to a Complete Service was easy. The team handled the application and booked a wedding date.
During these months, the team has consistently replied within one business day to all of our messages. They were always friendly and provided clear information. They have been transparent – all the prices and services are on their website; we got exactly what we paid for.
But the team also goes beyond. We received follow-ups email to check-in with us all through the process up to the wedding day. The team was able to contact the townhall and obtain a document confirming the wedding date being booked, so that I could provide this document to my employer and take time off work.
A lot of stress and worries have been avoided because the team did not only handle the application on our behalf, they were able to continuously answer any and every question we had, but they also know to provide relevant information at the appropriate time.
For example, when providing a list of town halls to choose from, each options had all relevant details (response time, language, witnesses, etc.) – which makes choosing the right location much easier and time-saving since no additional research is needed on our side.
We were neither overwhelmed with information nor lost in the fog. The team is clearly experienced and we felt supported all through the process.
I think working with this agency is particularly beneficial for couples who are not familiar with Denmark, who do not know where to start and especially for couples who are international couples, who may not be able to travel as freely as others and who cannot afford to lose time with delays caused by avoidable mistakes or improper organization.

We started our journey with” getting married in denmark “ in the end of october .
Without paying anything the Team answered most of our questions and we could alrdy prepare some needed documents.
In the end of december we decided to pay the essential and later the whole service.
