Getting Married In Denmark made our wedding so easy! The team was supportive and truly cared about making everything smooth. Every detail was handled with professionalism. For a stress-free, joyful, and personal experience, they’re the ones to contact!

Even we didn't end up hiring their services due to time constrains, they were always helpful. Sam was an amazing advisor and who made our experience with GMiD very smooth.

My partner is on a disability pension with limited income. She used the last of her money (€1,625) to pay for wedding services on October 28.

Less than 24 hours later, GMiD said they couldn't deliver the service on the date we paid for and that we would have to wait until next year.
They have provided NOTHING:

No wedding arranged
No government application submitted

Zero service delivered
They offered partial refund of €1,100 and we refused it because that's taking over 500 EUR for absolutely nothing.

When I called, they argued and claimed they "provided a service" - they provided NOTHING.

They are now refusing any refund while keeping €1,625 from a disabled woman's limited pension.

EVIDENCE:

They rejected our passport photos claiming "HDR blur" EXIF metadata proves NO HDR was active - camera was in standard mode

They took the last of a disabled woman's money and delivered nothing. When caught, they play victim ("we're so sad and hurt").

Bank dispute filed. Danish Consumer Ombudsman complaint filed. Full evidence documented.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They target vulnerable people and steal their money. There is ZERO CHANCE that they have this many 5 star reviews and they are definitely deleting negative reviews on every platform they can.

THEIR "TERMS OF SERVICE" EXCUSE IS ILLEGAL:

When confronted, GMiD claims their "terms of service" allows them to keep money for services not delivered. This is FRAUDULENT and ILLEGAL under Danish law.
Danish Consumer Protection Law is clear:
Under Aftalelov (Danish Contracts Act) Section 38C, contract terms that create unfair imbalance against consumers are VOID and unenforceable. Businesses in Denmark CANNOT use "terms of service" to override mandatory consumer protection laws.
Danish Sale of Goods Act explicitly states: "It is not possible to make agreements that put customers in a worse position than under the rules of the Danish Sale of Goods Act."
Translation: You cannot write terms of service that let you steal money for work you didn't do.
When a business provides ZERO service, they are entitled to ZERO payment. Their "terms of service" claiming otherwise is:
✓ Void under Aftalelov § 36 (contrary to good faith)
✓ Unenforceable under Aftalelov § 38C (unfair consumer contract terms)
✓ Violation of mandatory consumer protection statutes
✓ Potential fraud under Markedsføringsloven § 3
This is a SCAM operation hiding behind fake "terms of service" that have no legal validity in Denmark.
They know most victims won't fight back. They know most people don't know Danish consumer law protects against exactly this type of fraud.
My girlfriend is disabled and trusted them. They saw vulnerability and exploited it.

UPDATE: They have now refused ALL refund. Zero money returned despite pressure. Absolute theft. Be very careful about all these "reviews" you see here. They seem to deliver weddings if they can do it on time, but for us they couldn't for the date we paid for and they REFUSE to pay back if you have already paid them.

They will give a response here refuting this with their victim mentality even though they are the ones abusing victims and I'm having to sit here angry and watching my soon to be wife extremely upset right now.

WARNING - Systematic fraud. They took €1,625, fabricated a "cancellation" story, then refused service 24 hours later.

The reviews on this page being a natural pattern are impossible, they are horrible and won't even refund us fully after providing literally zero service. On the phone he claimed "but we have helped you with everything" but they haven't helped with a thing and we've had to do it all manually, their "advice" could have been found on ChatGPT in one second.

ACTUAL TIMELINE (even worse than typical scam):

October 28 - BEFORE PAYMENT: GMiD said November 18 wedding date was NOT available.

October 28: We paid €1,625 anyway for their service.

October 28 - AFTER PAYMENT: I asked "is that spot available now because we just paid for it?"

October 28: GMiD suddenly replied "Would you believe we just had a cancellation for 18th!!! So there is now an available appointment for you!"

NO CANCELLATION HAPPENED. We had just paid for the spot. They fabricated the "cancellation" story to make us feel lucky/grateful when we had simply booked an available date.

October 29: Less than 24 hours after payment, GMiD claimed application "won't be processed in time" and offered only €1,100 refund, stealing over €500 for ZERO service delivered.

WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED:

The November 18 spot was available all along. After taking our €1,625, they invented a fake "cancellation" story to create false urgency and gratitude. Then 24 hours later, they claimed it wouldn't work and refused to deliver any service while trying to keep over €500.

This is textbook fraud: Take payment → fabricate story → refuse service → steal over €500.

ADDITIONAL FRAUD: FAKE TECHNICAL PROBLEMS

GMiD also rejected our passport photos claiming "HDR blur."

FACT: EXIF metadata extracted from photos proves camera mode was set to STANDARD with NO HDR enabled. Photos were crystal clear and well exceeded passport requirements.

They fabricated technical problems that objectively did not exist to justify denying service after taking payment.

PATTERN IN OTHER REVIEWS:

Check their 1-star reviews - identical fraud pattern:
- Take payment first
- Invent problems with documents/photos that are actually fine
- Create delays or refuse service
- Offer partial refund keeping €400-600
- Deploy victim mentality when caught ("we're so hurt and sad")

Multiple customers report perfect photos being rejected for fake "quality issues."

VICTIM MENTALITY MANIPULATION:

When confronted, GMiD called us and used their standard script:
- "We're very sad about this"
- "We still want to help"
- "We provided a service" (they provided NOTHING)

Check their response to customer "Sofia" - identical language: "we feel completely hurt and incredibly sad... being attacked with bad reviews..."

This is manipulation to avoid refunding refunding money and to frame genuine criticism as an "attack".

SERVICE DELIVERED: ZERO

- Wedding facilitated: NO
- AFL submission completed: NO
- Prøvelsesattest obtained: NO
- Any actual work done: NO

They claim "reviewing documents" is a service. That's due diligence that should happen BEFORE taking €1,625 and confirming availability.

WARNING TO FUTURE VICTIMS:

If GMiD takes your money then suddenly announces a "lucky cancellation" - it's a lie. They're manipulating you to feel grateful when you've simply booked an available spot.

If they then claim "technical problems" with your documents - check the metadata. They fabricate problems that don't exist.

Document everything. File bank disputes immediately. Report to Danish authorities.

GMiD will likely respond with their victim script "we're so hurt" or delete this review. I've filed with regulatory authorities regardless.

AVOID THIS FRAUDULENT BUSINESS.

Bank investigation ongoing. Consumer Ombudsman complaint will be filed. Full evidence package includes emails proving "cancellation" was fabricated after payment. They will comment here with all kinds of nonsense and they're very welcome, they just don't want to refund because of their "terms of service" where they don't have to provide a full refund, but hurried clients skip this looking for a quick wedding to book which is exactly what we need as we don't have time to wait and need to be in Germany with residency soon, so we booked quickly thinking we had a gauranteed date but they then denied the date multiple times and said the AFL was unlikely to accept it and it would take longer - in that case, doing this all manually would have been far better, cheaper, and at least you don't get scammed. I'll be pressing for a subpoena to be done into the reviews on this trustpilot.

The chance of the reviews on this page all being letigimate is less than zero.
