Excellent customer care. Used NHSCU for debt consolidation and it was worth it, good rates and prompt disbursement.

What can I say. I have served in the nhs for nearly 6 years. The credit union has never let me down. You are more than what you are on paper to them. They treat you as a human. Polite courteous and respectful throughout. Probably the best financial institution I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Thank you

The experience was great, the staff very helpful and understanding of my circumstances, they listened and offered me the best type of product for me. Has helped to take some stress off my shoulders, the online process made life easier as well
With working shifts, if they needed anything within a time frame, I let them know I was working and I would get it to them as soon as possible and this was never an issue.. Would recommend to anyone..

Honestly wish I’d listened to my pal ages ago. She kept goin on about joining but I thought I liked everything in my bank where I could see it. Didn’t think I needed a credit union.

But I joined a few months back and it’s actually been brilliant. I save straight from my wages so I don’t even think about it, then I checked today and had more saved than I realised. It’s honestly such a good wee set up.

Spoke to someone today about a loan and they were great. Explained the Saving Secured loan for my car repairs.

Feels like a bit of a relief especially when money’s tight. Can’t believe I waited this tbh.

Absolutley Awful Service!!! i had a loan with NHSCU almost 5 years ago and only have 3 more payments left until all paid off. never missed a payment, always on time as through wages, no issues. All of a sudden i found myself in a little fiancial mess and needed help... i applied for a Debt consolidation loan and this was to get me back on track with my rent and council tax after falling slightley behind, As the Product was Debt consdolidation i decided this was perfect opportunity to go through my credit report and include any old debts that i may have accumulated and ad it all into the one monthly payment, saving my home, getting my self back on track and after repaying be debt free and have massively improved credit score.

i applied on the app and had the application rejected 3 times for not providing information i hadnt even been asked for, then having to start the whole process again and upload a million documents, to then have messages from myself asking if i needed to provide anyting else to then get completely ignored for days on end. and then something else is needed and wasnt uploaded within 5 minutes to then get declined again.

after sending a pretty wordy email i receiived a phone call and explained that since applying and including all kinds of debts which i had to contact the companies for exact amounts and reference numbers from my past i was now being harrassed by debt collectors who now have my contact details and know i am active.

i was then declined YET AGAIN for being in arrears of one month with rent and council tax!! which defeats the point of offering a debt consolidation loan if you cant actually be in debt, absolutley mind boggling who came up with that rule.

but after a month of back and forward back and forward from what started and me needing money to clear rent and counicl tax arrears of a couple of months has turned into EVERY DEBT i have had (small bills etc) now absolutley harrasing me, emailing me at work, and now threat of eviction and court action, as i have waited and waitied thinking this was going to be an easy process and there wouldnbt be any issues.

i thought i was at rock bottom when i just owed the rent and council tax but now feels like i am literally drowning as i have all this extra debt that i actually want being chased for i just wantred to clear my record so included and now NHSCU may as well have said oh well your fault not ours we cant help you!!! and been left to deal with it.

pretty low risk to them as they get paid from salary monthly directly so payments are never missed.

im now awaiting an eviction notice and living in fear of answeirng the door as debt collctors are harrasing me daily.

i would advise if you have small debt and think that this product can help you, THINK AGAIN!!! the only thing the NHSCU didnt ask me for was a blood sample!! sent sooooo many documents and over a month later was told no anyway, complete waste of my time and has left me in an even worse situation than when i contacted them for help

The online system was very easy to use and all my questions were answered - dealt with swiftly - good job
