Downloading the purchased music works fine, but some title tags comprise special characters in the form of character codes
Downloading the purchased music works fine when using the V2.1.7 version of the NativeDSD downloader.
In some cases, when the title of a track includes a special character (e.g. an apostrophe), the string in the tag comprising the title does, however, not include the special character but its HTML code instead (e.g. "\&\#039:"). As my player does not resolve such codes when playing back the music, it is necessary to edit the tags in respective tracks to get a readable display of the title of the played track.

Downloading disaster
Everything is ok except one thing. I was uanble to download album via Edge browser (same error everytime I tried) and when i used native downloader, tracks get stuck in random moments so i had many many times to "resume" them manually to get one album downloaded...

Nous travaillons à améliorer nos métadonnées et nos options de filtrage pour rendre cette différence plus visible. En attendant, la fiche de chaque album indique dans sa description si l'enregistrement est 100% natif DSD ou issu d'un master analogique ou PCM converti — c'est l'endroit le plus fiable pour le vérifier avant l'achat.

I love this site
I love this site. I get emails for sales promotions. I look for and find music I want on sale. I visit the site, purchase and download using NativeDSD's downloader. In a few minutes I am enjoying my new downloads which sound fabulous. The credit card processing company's security has noticeably improved over the years. The whole experience is very smooth and enjoyable. I also like the different filters I can use to search the vast catalogue which really helps finding music I want to sample and buy. The reviews and info provided for the recordings are also a joy to read through and informative. Same for NativeDSD newsletters.

A first venture into DSD music downloading
This was my first venture into downloading DSD music. I found that it was necessary to use the downloader to obtain the files as trying to do it via a zip file didnt work due to network changes.
The files took quite some time to download using the downloader, but everything went smoothly as long as I was patient.
The sound of the Mackerras Mozart symphonies is excellent via the DSD 64fs - 2ch download.
I am very pleased with this my first venture into DSD.
The team at Native DSD provided helpful information to assist with downloading the album.

big files but with the native dsd file…
big files but with the native dsd file downloader, it's good to do, (but i think i need a bigger hard disk ;-) happy with the sound, even with bizzy music the sounds stay unclowded, but i know that the cables at home can do that too, mostly heavy screend cables, they fill up with to much sound. the recordings are good quality, but what had the sound engeneer in mind? yes, happy to try more albums.

Thank you for this wonderful review! The NativeDSD Downloader does make those large files much more manageable. A bigger hard drive is basically a rite of passage for all DSD collectors.. haha!
So glad the sound is delivering even on complex, busy recordings that clarity and separation is exactly what Pure DSD is capable of at its best.
As for the sound engineer's vision — that's one of the beautiful things about high-resolution audio: you hear their choices much more clearly. We try to work with labels and engineers who share a commitment to naturalistic, unprocessed sound.

A great, beautiful and spectacular DSD album buying site, but I mostly listen to heavy rock and new wave pop from the 80s! So what I realized is that unfortunately it is not possible to get albums in the genre I like to buy online!

Totally Ignored
They say "Before you rate us — if anything wasn't perfect with your order, please email us first. We'll make it right. Your review will mean much more once we've had the chance to help." And I did email explaining their downloads were extremely slow, often about 8-11 Mbs or 50-100 times slower than my broadband connection. And in many cases a track is not correctly completed and must be redone - sometimes more than once. This means that completing my download has taken DAYS not hours. Do they care at all? It is hard to tell.

NativeDSD App
NativeDSD downloader app previously installed did not work as well as before. Many files stalled during download. Retry option did not work at all. Downloaded newer NativeDSD app. Many files still stalled during download. Eventually managed to download all files after many retries. Attempts to download zip file was not allowed.
