After weeks of soaking my willow, it is still breaking when trying to weave with it. The endless rewinding the video to execute the weave wasn’t helpful. For the price printed visuals would have been supportive. I contacted the company about the breakage and their only response was what kit did I buy. They dropped the conversation and didn’t return my response. Two friends who had also ordered had the same prob with breakage.

I ordered the Asymetric Basket kit, on the web page it states “ Receive a lovely kit in the post that includes all the materials you need for the course”. The basket has a lovely wooden handle in all the pictures - ‘kit’ did not come with a handle, with the course literally stating
“We don't include a handle stick in the current version of the kit…we think it's best for you to go cut a handle stick yourself”
Soaking bag provided for Willow, but not fit for purpose as they leak - instructions in course state this and tell you to use bulldog clips to secure bag.
The business is a marketing machine, powered by AI, which feels very out of alignment with the nature connection they seem associated with - when I tried to send a query to the Facebook page about an offer code that wasn’t working for me they spammed me with multiple sales messages, and still have not replied to my actual query.
Video course is good quality, a real shame that they let themselves down in other areas.

I do not recommend purchasing from this firm.

I received the log basket kit by Myowntwohands.co as a gift. The instructions that came with the parts said that guidance and details on creating the basket could be downloaded using a code provided.

The code did not produce the promised instructions, only an invitation by buy the whole kit again. An email address was provided for enquiries, and over the recent months I sent have numerous emails seeking help, I have not had any response. A phone number or actual contact address of this firm is not available on the firm’s website, so in the absence of a reply I am stuck.

It might, or might not be a good product - for the moment is an expensive bundle of sticks.

My son, who gave me the kit, has also tried to contact this firm, but also without success.

I've had an amazing time using this company. I'll be honest, I purchased (several) kits, (many) years ago, but finally plucked up the courage to get cracking on them. 1st was the Christmas Kit. I've made terrific decorations using the brilliant instructional video and am really pleased with my first attempt. 2nd was the bird house, purchased by my nephew for Christmas for both my sister in law and I. We had a great day making this each, and were really pleased with the results. 3rd (yes, I said I'd had lots of kits never started!) Was the bird feeding station. Again, great results, with very clear video instructions ..... the only thing I can faulty is my poor choice of snips ... they have to be good quality to get that lovely clean cut finish (mine leave a bit to be desired!) .... but that's nothing to do with the kits or materials, just my own mistake.

If I can figure out how to upload pics here I'd be happy to show off my efforts.

I've already recommended this company to friends who are keen to have a go themselves.

The video instructions on all their kits are very clear and easy to follow, (Molly is an excellent teacher).
Easy to order and delivery is within a few days.
Any queries are quickly responded to.

I have just completed the bird nest and bird feeder. The instructions were excellent, delivered clearly and in a calm and friendly manner. I enjoyed every moment and I'm delighted with the results.

Total bs scam. Do not waste your time or money unless you love hearing made up excuses including road accidents, family health crisis and warehouse fires as to why over a month after payment there has been NOTHING. Total joke. Spread the word.

So enjoyed this project. I’ve never done this before, the tutorials are brilliant, they explain and break down each stage simply. I managed to complete my basket with satisfaction, it’s not perfect but I learnt so much from the experience. I aim to carry on but I’m going to give my fingers a rest. Delivery of the materials was efficient and you have plenty of material to work with.

Really lovely course with very calm and personable teacher - I thoroughly enjoyed it and am really pleased with the results.

I have not yet attempted to make the bird feeder but first impressions ...it's the worst presented kit I have ever received and I ordered three, two of which were gifts.

I received two packages, basically willow sticks wrapped in black plastic and addressed, containing bunches of willow, different colours, a couple of rolls of bags with string tied round, no contents list or instruction, no obvious division of three kits, I couldn't sort it out to give as gifts as planned. Its very poor quality.

I emailed the company who seemed to think my issue was with it "looking pretty" when it was about ordering 3 kits, with an expectation of receiving 3 individual kits, a fair expectation I think but receiving "a heap of willow and a couple of rolls of bags without any packing or paperwork...I was supposed to sort it myself ? After numerous emails and them missing the point I gave an analagy of ordering 3 x Sunday lunches and being served a heap of meat and veg on two plates with three forks and a knife.... Don't waste your money.

I do a lot of weaving, baskets and otherwise, but I was intimidated by willow and there aren’t teachers in my area. When I saw these kits, I figured it was worth a try and that turned out to be a great decision. The kits are thoughtfully prepared and shipped quickly (always a gamble when buying online!) but what really sold me are the videos. They are outstanding. The camera work is clear, you can see the important details and the pacing is the right speed to follow along without constantly pausing the video or having to rewatch a section because the teacher was going too quickly. I highly recommend myown2hands!

We just finished making the Lighted Star kit. We had a great time working with a new type of willow. The video was clear and informative. The camera angles made is easy to see what the instructor was doing unlike many instructional video . We watched before we started then had the video going while we worked to review anything we missed the first time. We were very satisfied with the quality and quantity of the willow, ease of signing in to watch and the whole ordering process. We would recommend anyone at any level to order a kit to learn a new pattern.

Finally got influenced by social media and purchased the bird box. The instructions were super clear and easy to understand and most importantly in real time so I could follow along! Very fun project. I’ve already ordered the bird feeder !

I just wanted to say how wonderful I found my experience with the berry basket course. Although my basket looked nothing like its intended image it was not due to poor instruction, rather my poor execution! Fantastic course, incredible customer support and service and I just cannot praise Myown2hands enough. So kind, too. I will definitely do more and I have already sent links to my family and friends. So worth it.

I have made three items so far and what a fun new hobby wicker weaving is! I have already ordered my next piece to try. The videos are great, the lady giving the instructions is very calming :) My only downside is there being no vegan option for the leather handbag strap. I would love to make it but I’m not paying money for pieces of an animal!

Cannot rate myown2hands highly enough. Their kits are excellent value for money and the tutorials are the best I have seen for crafting. I love the fact your tutor is there to show you the whole project from start to finish and the same steps are repeated so you get to understand the process. I have purchased several kits and have enjoyed each one.

Awesome people, the instructional videos are so clear and well explained that even a novice like me can make amazing willow pieces, I've made trays, stars and hearts and given them as gifts that have been loved. Patrick's emails keep me aware of new offers and projects, and are a ray of sunshine when read. Would recommend highly to everyone.

I started working with willow about 2 and a half years ago using the online tutorials from MO2H. After completing my first project, I was hooked. I was blown away by the step by step approach, taking you right through the process of preparation, start to finish weaving, trouble shooting potential issues and having something tangible to hold at the end. The last two and a half years have been a journey for me, which without the amazing courses from MO2H, wouldn't have happened. Thankyou.
