Absolutely awful customer service.
Absolutely awful customer service.
I placed an order and manually entered my correct, current shipping address on their website. I have not lived at the address they ultimately shipped the package to for more than FIVE YEARS.
I never received the product.
After going back and forth with the company, they finally acknowledged in writing that when you use PayPal Express Checkout, PayPal can override the shipping address you typed into the merchant’s checkout form with an address saved in PayPal.
So they understand exactly what happened. Their checkout process accepted the correct address I entered, PayPal apparently replaced it with an old address, and the package went somewhere I haven’t lived in over five years.
And their solution?
No refund. No replacement. Too bad.
Even worse, their response tried to frame this as me simply “overlooking a saved default address.” That is incredibly dismissive. I DID NOT overlook entering my address. I specifically entered the correct address into THEIR shipping form.
If your website accepts a customer’s shipping address but your PayPal integration can override it during checkout, that is something customers deserve to be VERY clearly warned about. Instead, when something goes wrong, apparently the customer is expected to eat the entire cost.
I paid for a product.
I did not receive the product.
They have my money.
Someone at an address I haven’t lived at in years has the merchandise.
And the company refuses to refund or replace it.
The irony is that their own email explains exactly how this happened, yet they still refuse to take any responsibility or offer a reasonable resolution.
I gave them multiple opportunities to make this right. I wasn’t asking for anything outrageous—either send the product I paid for to the correct address I originally entered or refund me. They refused both.
If you’re ordering from this company using PayPal, CHECK YOUR SHIPPING ADDRESS AGAIN AND AGAIN, because according to their own customer service, PayPal can override the address you entered—and if your package goes to the wrong place, you may be the one left paying for a product you never received.
I would never purchase from this company again.
