I had a mixed experience with Mower Magic. On the positive side, they processed my refund quickly. However, their stock management could be better—items showing as available online turned out to be out of stock, and communication was lacking. It took weeks of waiting and several attempts to get answers before I finally cancelled my order. Decent refund process, but other aspects need improvement. ***

Magic service from Mower Magic!
I ordered a Trallfa wheelbarrow, they don't keep them in stock and the barrows are despatched from the manufacturer. The barrow arrived next day, amazing, but lacked assembly instructions. Those were emailed through promptly, a question about the wheel assembly was referred to the manufacturer and also answered promptly. I then found one of the many nuts would not grip. That query was also answered promptly and an entire set of replacement nuts and bolts is being sent. Customer service has been first class.

Brilliant company
Ive used mower magic twice now and have been very impressed both times. I chased up the 2nd delivery but the phone was cut off, probably my fault. A little while later I received an email from Sam which answered my query. This was above and beyond and kept me updated with the order. The customer service, delivery and the whole process was seamless. I would use the company again without a doubt.

Simon was so helpful. They don’t stock Bosch mowers but contacted them for me. I have a lightweight portable mower. I thought I needed a new battery, which are very expensive. After checking everything thoroughly Simon diagnosed and ordered the controller part from Bosch and fitted it. I have just got mower home and it works perfectly without cutting out all the time. I can’t recommend them enough. They’re friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. All for a very reasonable price too. Special thanks to Simon.

I’ve been delightfully surprised by…
I’ve been delightfully surprised by this company. When looking to buy a substantial lawnmower I found it priced the same through Google with three different companies. I chose Mower Magic because of the guarantee. I was really impressed with the speed of delivery from the point of order. Then the problem started! The lawnmower wasn’t collecting properly and it took as long to pick up after it as it did to mow. I got back onto Customer Service expecting to hear back within 48 hours but they replied the following day. Over the course of a couple of emails they diagnosed my problem, my fault on assembly, sent out additional screws and instructions on how to assemble. The mower works perfectly now. They didn’t really have to do all of the after Sales service so I was really pleased with their follow-up. Five star experience.

The only thing they have been good at…
The only thing they have been good at is a quick refund. Their website said they had stock so i ordered, i got an email saying out of stock and would be with me next week. Nothing happened, I emailed twice no response, called and they kept me waiting and said they didnt have stock despite the website saying they had 7 but on the phone they couldnt give me a delivery date after 2 weeks waiting i cancelled, which was done in 2 minutes

Purchased a Cobra ride on mower in May on finance . The mower was in stock BUT still took ages to arrive ( Ok let that one go ) When it finally arrived one young delivery chap got it off the lorry and drove off ( ok not his responsibility to help unload but never gave us time to check the mower over ) It is advertised that the mower comes on a roll off ready to use pallet . WRONG you have un box it and then lift it off the bottom pallet before you can drive it , so best make sure if you really want to use this company to have strong helpers with you as it is very heavy to lift ( ok let that one go )
NOW the fun parts start !
Checked it over and there were scratches and the steering wheel collar was broken and the bracket that holds the grass collection box was bent. Contacted customer care and after sending them many photos and explaining what was wrong they said they would send out the parts. ( I Have Just remembered the mulcher doesn't come with it and comes weeks later in the post ) We agreed we would fit it to save time but had to wait a while for the parts to arrive but they told us that we could still use the mower.
First time and only time we used the mower we went to empty the grass box and it slid to the side and a part broke off, so couldn't use that lever part so had to get off the mower and lift the grass box off by hand ( so to me the mower is not fit for purpose ) because the whole idea of buying this mower was because of the grass box and the ease in emptying it as their video shows.
Contacted Mower Magic again and told it was our fault as we had fitted the grass box wrong and the mowers are checked at the factory and wouldn't of sent one out with a fault and it has nothing to do with Mower Magic and it was down to the manufactures ( all you had to do was slot the box on nothing difficult in doing that but hey of course it was our fault and the bent bracket was just for decoration ? ) two months passed and the grass is getting higher and higher and still no joy so contacted the finance company and told them what was going on and before we said who the company was They told us which company it was . They contacted Mower Magic and we get a call from Mower Magic ( Long story short ) they would get Cobra to send us the part and we will have to contact a Cobra dealer to get them to come and fit it and get a invoice from them and send to Mower Magic for the service BUT the parts wouldn't come until the beginning of September . It is now the 23rd and not had the use of the mower for months and still waiting for the parts . Have not heard anything from the last email we sent asking what is going on , so now we are now going to go back to the finance company, Trading standards and We will start a small claims process for our money back and the return of a faulty mower . Absolutely appalling service another company that doesn't care once they have your money! Update we had a reply and now the part is coming on the 7th October so the way things are going the grass will be too wet to cut so we won't be able to "test" how well it works until next year and by that time the warranty would of most probably run out .

Excellent after Sales Service
There was a fault with the item I had ordered. When I spoke to Sam at Mower Magic, he did not hesitate: He told me that he would send a replacement immediately.
Sam was also happy to spend a great deal of time helping me with my purchase as I had quite a few questions about the product concerned.
The service I have received from MM has been of a very high standard and I have no hesitation in recommending the company.

Chased with PayPal and received only half of the amount spent as a refund.

Ordered a Toro mower a couple of weeks ago. Arrived OK and works well. The manual says to register the mower online with Toro but the registration process seems to be solely for US and Canada buyers. I emailed Toro UK who replied saying its the seller's responsibility to do this and I should confirm with Mower Magic that they did so at point of sale. I've emailed and tried to contact via the online form but no-one at Mower Magic has bothered to reply. The online chat function never works however long you wait to chat with someone. I gave up and went back to Toro UK who've been helpful and they are trying to register the mower for me although they maintain that UK dealers should do so. Mower Magic, I'm guessing doesn't do what they are asked and that's why no-one will come back to me. Happy to take my money but as soon as I ask a question - zilch. Very poor after sales service indeed. I wish I'd bought the mower from another dealer

So far so good
Recent purchase of 2 mowers, 1 ride on and 1 Hayter cordless. Nicely packed on arrival, ride on was already assembled and ready to go, however I couldn't get it to go. A quick call to Adam soon sorted me out and he made sure that I had all the various levers etc in the correct position and off I went. Bonser.

Great company, needed a part for a 30 year old Atco mower. The man I spoke to on the phone was very helpful in finding the part from the mower serial number and this was dispatched quickly at a reasonable price. Part fitted mower perfectly. Would definitely recommend 🙂

Customer care: 'Sorry, we're really busy at this time of the year'
Maybe I expect too much, but having spent over £1100 with Mower Magic, I'd have thought I might get a bit of 'old fashioned' service. Unfortunately, not. My 1st email about a major issue with the mower I'd just received was ignored (I know it'd been read by the response I received when I called to chase the issue up). Was told 'sorry, we're extremely busy at this time of the year', (sorry, but I don't care!)
Then I waited for some action to sort the issue, when none came, after 4 days, I had to phone again, and received their stock reply 'Sorry, we're extremely busy at this time of the year' (sorry, but I don't care!). And when I quoted the consumer protection law, was told that I was wrong, and hadn't read it! This latter statement was eventually rescinded when I quoted the actual wording of said law!
Had the 1st damaged machine replaced at this point, and second delivered as promised. Only this machine also exhibited a fault, which I went back to Mower Magic with, this time, dealing with their MD. Was informed that an agent from the manufacturer would be able to come to my home to check the mower out and advise on further actions. After over a week, no further communication, so I had to call Mower Magic again to chase. Again, stock response 'Sorry, we're extremely busy at this time of the year' (sorry, but I still don't care!), I advised that I was not happy at all with the product, or the service I was(n't) receiving, and that I was of a mind to return it for a refund. Again, a member of their staff who did not know the consumer protection laws, as she told me they wouldn't be able to offer a refund on a used mower (wrong. within 30 days, it's faulty, you must issue a refund if that's what the customer requests).
Was told she would look into the case and get back to me.
Well, as expected, she didn't. So later in the day, I called Mower Magic again, and yes, you've guessed it; 'Sorry, we're extremely busy at this time of the year' (sorry, but I STILL don't care!).
And the answer now is that I must take it to a local Hayter service agent, well, that just isn't happening...it’s less than 2 weeks old, and is faulty!!
Sorry Mower Magic, but you simply don't have a clue about customer care!

Faulty goods received but sorted to my complete satisfaction within 10 minutes
I purchased from this company before so I was reasonably confident about buying again from them.
However, when the goods arrived both were faulty and of quite poor Quality.
I emailed the company and attached photos late on a Friday afternoon. To my great surprise I reviewed a response within 10 minutes during which time ‘Jez’ had physically checked remaining stock, picked 2 replacement items and organised shipment of the replacements.
Superb customer service from a reputable and trustworthy on line retailer. No augments, no nonsense, no blaming couriers or suppliers. Just great service.

My awful petrol mower was taken away dealt with and delivered back better than it had been when new. Excellent communication efficient service and a team that knows what they were doing.
