Emailed inquiry about a part for a webb mower. Got an email back asking for serial number, sent, 8 days later, still waiting for a reply. Not great online service. Ordered and received from another company.

Ordered parts, 1-3 day delivery, 10 days later and no sign. Called and got a call centre in the Philippines. They have nothing more than check-sheet answers! Luckily bought through PayPal and got a refund. Horrendous service, communication and generally smoke and mirrors company!

Ordered a mower, asked for delivery date no reply, asked for refund no reply, luckily paid by PayPal who refunded my payment.

I ordered a lawn mower on the 23rd March and the website said delivery would be 3-5 working days. I checked my order on their website after 5 days and it showed order processing. I called them to enquire about when I could expect to receive the mower but got no real response. Called again two days later to be told they were chasing the order through the warehouse. Over the next week and more phone calls I was no wiser to when I would get the mower but was promised an email the same day with an update on my order which was still showing being processed. The email never came so I contacted PayPal for a refund. The next day an email came to say the mower was being delivered the following day. The mower did arrive and I’m happy with it but the customer service from this company is shocking. Wish I’d checked Trust Pilot before ordering - lesson learned.

Took over a week to dispatch with Royal Mail 48 hours.
A week later and still no delivery.
The tracking number provided by them isn't recognaised by Royal Mail.

Dispite an email informing me it's been dispatched, I simply don't believe them.

I wish I'd read the reviews on this site before ordering from this company. Their website stated 5 in stock, with a dispatch time of between 3 & 5 working days. Within that period, I emailed asking for a rough time of delivery as I needed the machine quickly. I got no response.
Over the course of the following 3 days I telephoned 4 times. On each occasion I spoke to the same person. Friendly enough, but not able to provide any useful information. On every occasion I called the people who were 'dealing with it' were on the phone. On every occasion no-one returned my call. I emailed again expressing my frustration and this too was ignored.
Problems with suppliers was mentioned and when I pointed out there were 5 machines in stock on the website I was informed there were 'technical issues' on the website. Clearly they have no stock and only order it elsewhere when you order it from them.
Fully 2 weeks after ordering, delivery was arranged. On the day, the courier could not get their only delivery van (without a trolley) into my street. A solution offered was for me to travel 35 miles to the courier's depot to collect. In the end, during the only call I received from the company, the solution offered by them was to cancel the order altogether. This was something I had wanted to do a full week beforehand, however nobody was ever available to speak to.
Take your business elsewhere, it's just not worth the hassle.

Out of stock and having to chase a refund seven days after the email confirmed the order was cancelled

Ordered an item on Monday 23/2/26 website said in stock and dispatched in 1-3 days and will be updated with a tracking number. By Friday 27th had not heard anything so emailed them and got an acknowledgement. It is now 9th March and I still haven't had a reply to that email, or got a tracking number let alone the part! In the meantime I have phone them 14 times and been told twice that it had been dispatched. Phoned today and they said it hasn't been dispatched. Have tried 3 times to get a Manager on the phone who every time in a meeting. Was promised a call back from the Manager which hasn't happened. The worst online experience I have ever had and I order online several times a week. Then luckily today I realised I paid on Paypal went onto Paypal and got an instant refund and ordered elsewhere.

Never use this company again.ordered a mower online which was stated as in stock.got an email the next day saying there were none in stock so they will refund my money.a week went past and i heard nothing.so i rang to ask were my refund was.i was told they would ask the finance team and let me know.another week went past so i rang again asking were my refund was.i was then told it takes up to 14 working days.so i let that time pass and still no refund.i rang back again and asked to speak to a manager.i was told he was busy but would ring me back.so i waited till just before they closed and nobody had rung me back.so i rang back yet again.still no joy.finally after countless phone calls and weeks of waiting i received the refund.i wish i had looked at there reviews first before i placed my order.never again.

The web site says delivery to main land UK 1-4 days. Its now way over due. The web site says 8 in stock yet customer service tell me they are waiting for there supplier to send the items. This company does not reply to emails and customer service reps just lie. This is disgusting customer service from a deceitful company.

Not a company you want to deal with. So many much better companies out there that will treat you well. This company won’t show you any respect.

I found the company very helpful competitively priced item quickly delivered, good communications would use again.

What is not clear on the website is that most of the items offered are supplied directly from third parties. This means that stock levels and availability are unreliable. This is the reason my deliver was partial and late. Still waiting for confirmation of the remaining item being sent from a different company. As this was just a standard air filter, I now find I could have ordered it cheaper and direct from the supplier they are using!

Awful company to deal with, please avoid at all cost, I ordered a part that was in stock and said 1-3 days delivery. A month later I'm still waiting for it, customer service is also disgusting.

If you’re considering ordering a mower for delivery, I’d strongly advise avoiding this company. I placed my order on 25th November, with delivery advertised as 3–5 working days, yet I’m still waiting. Despite my order being accepted, I chased order! the response….”I have spoken to the warehouse and this is their response. Many apologies for the delay.
Unfortunately we have had all of our winter stock delivered from our suppliers, this has arrived earlier than expected. We are running behind with despatch due to this issue. This excuse has now been given for two consecutive weeks, with no sign of progress. If the company can’t fulfil orders in a reasonable timeframe, they should pause online sales instead of taking people’s money with seemingly no intention of dispatching items promptly. This purchase was a gesture of goodwill for my neighbour, and the ongoing delay is making it look like I’m the one avoiding the purchase which is incredibly frustrating. Are they just taking orders will NO INTENTION of actually dispatching. Scammers taking orders not delivering!!

UPDATED!! made a complaint to my card provider however, Item was then refunded by mowers-online my conclusion they obviously never intended to actually dispatch item and potentially expected me to believe the script regarding winter stock.. if you actually need a mower I’d try somewhere else. AVOID AVOID AVOID

I rang them about a problem with my chainsaw.
Spoke with a gentleman who said that they would email, no sign of the email, and having seen the reviews on here about aftersales, I'm not expecting one.
I'd say it's probably best to give this company a miss.
Luckily I seem to have sorted the problem out myself.

I ordered a lawn mower and was told delivery would be 1-3 days. I after a couple if days J was expecting delivery but realised I had not had a confirmation leave alone delivery date. After 4 days J rang to enquire about delivery and was just told it was pending. They said they would give me an update by email. After 2more days nothing had been received so I rang them only to get the same answer. I then asked to cancel which they did, but now it seems a struggle to get my money back.
I suggest you give this company a wide berth.

Ordered a timing belt at just under £90. I got an acknowledgment of the order by email & then nothing more! So after a week I contacted the company by phone to query the non delivery of said belt. A dim witted adviser said he'd look into it making an excuse he's need to speak to their warehouse. I didn't get a call back. So I rank Al-Ko who make the belt & supply to dealers like Mowers Direct. They said they would speak to Mowers Direct as they had stock of the belt. Al-Ko did come back & said I'd be getting a call from Mowers Direct. I didn't! So I wrote them an email asking why they had ignored me. I then tried their website to get their phone number but the site was infected with URL Blacklist!! I wrote to them told them this & said if they were not going to expedite the order I wanted to cancel it. They wrote saying they had cancelled the order but without a valid excuse or reason!! I have yet to get a refund.
What a complete & utter waste of time this shower are - just AVOID them & give them a wide berth.

Item ordered wrong item sent out. Was asked to send wrong item back, and I have,in writing they will refund p&p.
Still not received my money back, this has been ongoing for a month.

Ordered Mitox 28MT-a multi tool on the promise of early delivery, it came 3days late. On arrival the plastic caseing was broken and then on testing the hedge trimmer, this was having excessive vibration , was ask to return it for inspection, but no refund or replacement offered, still waiting on a reply.
