Just was excellent from beginning to end. The girl who I dealt with (I think it was Kaitlin) was superb and couldnt have done more to make me feel comfortable about everything. Connor also fulfilled his role very professionally. Thank you Motorpoint Edinburgh.

Although the car is ordered to be shipped up was in the end not what I expected, the staff were friendly, helpful and patient as I decided what to do. They took me through my option and through the other cars I they had in stock. Eventually I found another car that matched what I was looking for. From there on the experience was even better with them making sure everything was perfect before I left. I would highly recommend motorpoint Edinburgh to anyone looking for their next car.

Sold a car here and was overall very good. Harry was excellent.
Be aware service history needs to be printed and handed over at the time, rather than the online wording of "if available".
The quoted priced will come down a bit but if you're not aware of that then what rock do you live under

Very simple transaction with minimal fuss

Good selection of cars..Decent trade in price..NO pressure from salesman in the yard, left to 'prowl' without being hassled! Good comms...yeah seems to have gone well so far! Hopefully car picked is reliable...hate buying a new car!

The car sold itself so to speak. However, the customer service was simply outstanding. Everyone I dealt with from start to finish was absolutely pleasant and professional, the entire Edinburgh branch, I’d buy a car from any one of them. I would also like to take time out to mention Lewis Threlfall, I think to date, this was my number 1, top customer service experience in my life. He was a true pro and took great care of me, taking time to answer all my questions and queries and honestly going above and beyond the call of duty, helping guide me through the entire process of buying the car, lending his expertise when asked for and making recommendations and suggestions without being overbearing in areas where required. I have utmost faith and confidence in suggesting and recommending him to anyone I know looking to buy a car.

Purchased a 2024 fiat 500 for our daughter in august, all seemed well until 4 weeks later a warning light flashed up (pressure sensor) when we looked it up is said do not drive vehicle. We then realised the oil was completely empty, we booked in for a service with a local independent garage and they did a full check on the car,
Severe oil leak, cracked undertray, almost flat battery and tyres that were 84% worn tread and cracked. When I brought this to the attention of motorpoint they did cover the cost to replace the battery, advised us to book into fiat and happy to say the oil leak was sorted under warranty although she was without her car for 2 weeks. Motorpoint have taken no responsibility for the cracked undertray and advised us that this must have been damaged in the 1000 miles of our ownership, with regards to the tyres in december 2025 at 9000 miles the tyres were recorded at service as being 3mm, however in the PDI paperwork we were given on purchasing the car the tyres were recorded as 3.5mm at 13k miles in August 2026, even though they are the original tyres. When questioning the discrepancy I was sent a copy of the PDI that was apparently done but the tyre measurements state 3mm and the battery health as 0% so does not match the PDI given to my daughter on purchase. I appreciate you say the tyres have passed motorpoint preparation standard, however if the car has done an additional 4k miles its impossible for them to have been 3.5mm at point of sale, not really acceptable to have to change tyres 1 month after ownership. A decent garage would surely change tyres that have minimal life left in them.

Our mistake for trusting that the car would be roadworthy and definitely do not recommend purchasing a car from Motorpoint unless you have someone with alot of car knowledge with you. When my daughter drove down to collect the car from the Edinburgh branch she was not offered a test drive or have anyone show her around the new car as she had traded in her old Fiat at same time so knew where everything would be apparently.

All in all a very disappointing time for our 21 year old daughter and questionable standards from Motorpoint.

Motorpoint made buying a nearly new car and trading in my old car very easy. There was no pressure and I felt very comfortable through out the whole process. It was all completed in one afternoon with great friendly service from Steven all all the staff at the Edinburgh store.

I had a really great experience with Motorpoint Edinburgh when purchasing my car. From the very beginning, Steven was absolutely amazing with communication and kept me updated throughout the whole process. He was friendly, helpful and made everything feel straightforward and stress-free.

Caitlin was also fantastic when it came to the final paperwork. She was extremely professional, helpful and made sure everything was completed smoothly.

Im staring to think all the positive reviews are fake.

I had a car sent up to Edinburgh from Peterborough. The agent was really good. Car looked good too. Pickup for Thursday but I went on Wednesday just to see tue car and OMG what a shit show.
1. 3 chips on drivers side windscreen
2. 4 or 5 in passenger side
3. Ns front bumper had lots of scratches and chips on it
4. Ns side panel front door passenger door all had massive scratches

Was told all issues are ok. The bodywork I get but the damage to windscreen is a joke. Was promised a call back on Thursday no call waited over 2 hrs to get through on Friday and was told assistant manager will call me but guess what no answer.

Absolutely joke of a company

Lewis the Sales Executive was very helpful, no hard sell, gave me the keys to look at a vehicle model I was interested in and let me spend some time looking at it. They did not have the vehicle in the colour I wanted so Lewis showed me some models from other branches and I agreed that it should be transferred to Edinburgh, the transfer took longer than I expected but was in excellent condition.

Easy transaction, I did everything on line before I went to Edinburgh,I chose the car, they offered me a half decent price for my part ex, when I got there everything when smoothly, did the transaction, went home and very pleased with my purchase.

Team was friendly and helpful. I was able to test drive my car and got a good deal on part exchange of my old one. My new car was clean and presentable and as advertised. The price of my car was also perfect for my budget. Very happy all round.

Lewes made us very welcome from the off. Very relaxed, no pressure at any time. He explained everything very clearly. Absolutely no complaints and would recommend Motorpoint without hesitation
