Received a poor service from Blackburn, had an offer then it took a week to make contact, due to poor vetting it didn't exist. then they showed another person round , left the house unsecure as they forgot to put the alarm on and lock the door. Decided to end the contract and went with a proper estate agent, who we feel confident with. Asked for my key to be returned and all I receive from Chloe the branch manager is lies. Sent 4 emails now and still no key so I have to replace my locks as I don't trust them. Not impressed at all.

The staff were easy to reach and contact via email ( which I preferred) they were also active on calls and provided prompt updates expecially with how long completion took.

Ada. The sole reason as to why everything has run as smoothly as possible. She has been instrumental in getting my property purchase over the line and couldn’t thank her enough for everything she has done.

Excellent service from the initial visit by Chloe Jenkinson to being allocated Ada Grundy as our main contact and negotiator. Ada was always polite, friendly and helpful and she was an absolute pleasure to deal with. All the staff at Blackburn were always very friendly and we would highly recommend them.

Overall I had an extremely smooth and positive experience with Mortimers - communication was clear, everything was handled efficiently and the whole process felt well managed from start to finish.
A special mention has to go to Lewis Hunter, who truly went above and beyond. Nothing was ever too much trouble—he was always available, incredibly supportive and genuinely made a big difference during what can be a stressful time. His professionalism, patience and approachability really stood out.
Veda was also a great help—friendly, responsive and always happy to assist when needed. Together, her and Lewis made the experience far better than I expected. I’d happily recommend both the team and especially Lewis to anyone.

What an absolute dream the team in Blackburn are. From initial conversations with Ada, the lass that took the photos to Veda who dealt with the solicitors. It’s all ran smoothly and took 8 weeks from start to finish. Nothing was ever too much trouble and I’m sure I was a pain at some points. I would honestly recommend Ada and Mortimers to everyone.

I don't think anyone typically enjoys dealing with estate agents, however Veda is a diamond. Her communication and help during a particularly difficult purchase even after a torrent of issues caused by the seller was outstanding.
