Wow cannot even believe the negative reviews here , yes you cannot always be guaranteed the exact same meds all the time due to stock availability and tbh the amount of people who now are joining these clinics especially alternaleaf is crazy , saying that there is PLENTY of stock so you can always get what you want really, and tbh I am fully disgusted at the negative reviews! I have been with alternaleaf about 7 months and have had 0 issues! None! Other than the fact it's sometimes need to change to a slightly different med which is almost identical! They never encourage smoking medical cannabis as tbh medical cannabis is NOT! street cannabis and therefore should be vaporised or they have gummies , oils absolutly everything you could want or need , chronic pain patient here and thanks to the wonderful caring staff at Montu.
I dont even want to know my GP surgery anymore due to failings in my care!
Again had no issues with contact , no issues with medication and no issues with meds delivered and tbh shame on anyone who thinks its a service you can bulldoze your way into and receive what you want! Montu dont work like that as they do care! There 100% professional and have no need to PUSH! prescriptions on anyone! Also they have updated systems lately and always are, so to be leaving such negative feedback is just ridiculous 🙄 I am so upset to see these reviews as it will put other genuine sufferers of chronic pain and misery off! Over stock issues ,?? Really? Yet more and more stock gets added all the time and everyone receives an email with new stock. So maybe a little more respect from service users is whats required as I would not respond to grown adults kicking off over things that are out of Montus reach , massive thanks to Montu and of course alternaleaf i niw have some quality of life 🥰

Long time customer, I ordered a vape cartridge, realised IMMEDIATELY that wont fit my vape device. So I rang them immediately and asked if I could cancel the order. To purchase one that will (I HAD 2 ON MY PRESCRIPTION). As I wont be able to use this one.. I was told NO no refunds. Even though I placed the order 40 seconds ago. I explained I wont be able to use it.. they didnt care. I said ok fine, il contact my bank and il do a chargeback with them, as im not receiving a product I cant use... and she said 'so your going to tell your back uve bought cannabis!?' How unprofessional is that!! Horrid company. All about how to get as much money out of u as possible. Unhelpful and rude.

I use Montu because my prescriber is part of their group, though I find them more expensive than other pharmacies.
Recently, I received a faulty vape cartridge and the process to resolve it has been incredibly slow. I first reported the issue on September 19th. After a lot of back and forth, they agreed to a store credit on September 30th. It is now October 15th, and despite my new prescription being ready, I am still waiting for the promised voucher code to be sent so I can pay for my order.
The process has taken nearly a month and still isn't finished. I will update this review if and when I finally receive the credit.

Ordered over £400 of medical cannabis, Royal Mail failed to deliver, when I chased them up and explained it was medication, the post office rang the police amd handed my 'drugs' over. Nearly a week later I'm still being told its being 'investigated' so I visited the delivery office personally, where I was informed by the manager the police have my parcel. According to Montu, it should still be delivered by Royal Mail, so they dont actually have a clue where my medication is and they honestly dont care about chasing it up or refunding me for my losses. Had to get my local councillor involved to chase the police for me as im getting nowhere with Montu who couldn't care less

Never have stock. Prescriptions take forever to be actioned if they're actioned at all! Chased my prescription today only to be told it wasn't actioned and medication has gone out of stock. This is after my complaint about stock levels when I put in the order originally! Absolute joke of a company, had enough

Five Star Service - staff has been VERY responsive and timely.
0 Stars for vape cartridge options. A good portion of the cartridges offered are distillates, which makes little sense in a medicinal setting as the patient is missing out on the entourage effects of the various elements that make one strain different than another. In their full spectrum/live resin offerings, there isn’t a single pure Indica and there is only one Indica dominant hybrid and its strain profile isn’t one that treats my symptoms well. Prior to moving to the UK, I lived in a country where I had access to multiple dispensaries, which meant I could always find a strain to elevate my chronic symptoms, even if it meant driving an hour away to get it.
Not being able to view what a company offers before paying so much money and spending so much time going through the approval process is beyond disappointing and my quality of life has suffered because I’m not able to get a product to meet my needs.
For what it’s worth, I’ve been a medicinal user for over a decade, and have learned a lot about what works and doesn’t work for my conditions.
UPDATE response to Montu's response - I've already discussed this with the prescriber during my last appointment. There are no options for me.

I paid for postage the only choice I had was special delivery at £9 on Friday morning. I received multiple emails from Montu and Royal Mail stating my parcel would be delivered by 1pm on the Saturday. Whilst I understand that technically special delivery is next working day I would have much rather paid for recorded/signed for delivery and pay the appropriate postage. Royal Mail failed to give me any delivery updates so I then ended up having to collect my parcel today (Wednesday). I totally get that this is Royal Mail failing to deliver, I would of appreciated given that Montu will likely claim the £50 compensation from Royal Mail, to have my postage refunded however Montu have flatly refused to do so. From a customer perspective this would have been much appreciated but Amelia at Montu felt like on this occasion not to do so.

Have had such a great experience with these, they help so much, are there when I need to ask about things. Sometimes the waiting is the most annoying part but I won't take a star off for that as everything else makes up for it. Being able to cope day to day now is amazing and I am thankful.

Started off great. Not so much now. Have had TWO clincian appointments where no one has turned up! This means another call and a 3rd attempt at an appointment. As this is my 3rd mth I can't request repeat. Resulting in being at least a week late with this prescription if it ever does get processed. Seriously reconsidering options

Staff got my prescription wrong 2 months in a row. They made me order half the amount over it last month and this month they chose to say the same because they dont know what they are doing. I have already evened out my script and was being told to order half two months in a row. I was supposed to get a call back today and have been left to it for the weekend. Great work. Good and takes the worry of being in trouble smoking when you literally use little but it helps your pain however I will be switching to a vaporiser

I signed up through alternaLeaf I had to wait absolutely weeeks and weeks for setting me up however I think it’s because of my complex history

This is a very regular occurrence and everyone in the community is aware of it and very annoyed too.

Everything is bang on apart from when choosing your medication it just says stevia or indica it would be a lot easier and more convenient if it would also say the effects like it does on some websites like royalqueenseeds as you buy to the effects. Hope this changes something

People love to complain lol
Montu are a great pharmacy for UK medical grade cannabis. Information on delivery times etc is very clearly stated on their website and is even updated weekly with a message on their homepage if there are any changes to these delivery times.
Cannot fault Montu one bit. Ordered my prescription at 6pm Friday, well after the cut off time for next day delivery so I am patiently waiting now for my prescription to be delivered on Tuesday.
