Do not book with Monster Reservation or…

Do not book with Monster Reservation or Booksi! I booked trip, received a confirmation number, name and address of hotel, and called on the way there to find out what time check in time was…. They did not have a reservation for me.

Robert Fulwood made my reservation easy!

Robert Fulwood made my reservation very easy to accomplish. He was upbeat, knowledgeable and fun to work with.
He made my destination sound like a perfect golf get away.

Great customer service

Taylor was great work with. I initially called in because I could not find one of the perks we were offered when purchasing our package today. Taylor was able to clarify my package and even sent a separate email outlining the perks. I can’t wait for our first trip!

A scam

A scam. Horrible service. They will not answer their phone. When we had problems at the resort the people there told us Monster is the worst to deal with. They kept billing us when we asked them to stop and would not refund anything for unauthorized charges. What a scam and horrible people to work with.

I got duped into signing up for some…

I got duped into signing up for some "cruise" program for free for a year. Then "cancel anytime before the year is up to not be charged." Good luck getting through to cancel. I got charged last year and had to flag it as fraud with proof of emails and phone calls trying to cancel. Now this year they've tried to push it through again and my bank knows it's fraud so they aren't allowing it to process. What a freaking scam this company is.

I called today to ask about how to use the package I’ve purchased 2 years ago and I had a very pleasant experience. Kailey M. was very nice, patient and helpful in explaining the inclusions of my purchase. She even took the initiative to send me an email containing all the information that I need to better help me with booking our next vacation. I booked a trip & it didn’t end up working out because all the dates were booked from here until infinity. The customer service rep Naielli Castillo was very helpful & patient and was the only good part about the experience.

Pleasantly surprised

I called expecting to hear none of the dates I wanted to travel were available. Detrick PetersonMcnamara was able to assist me in booking the exact dates I wanted. Detrick was friendly and knowledgeable. I am very relieved and looking forward to my trip to Destin, FL.

Booksi is Overbooked

I was originally sold on the promise that I would be able to easily book vacations in Sedona, specifically at the three resorts they advertise there. That turned out to be completely misleading. Every time I tried to make reservations through Booksi, there was little to no availability — even when looking two, three, or four months in advance. The locations I actually wanted were never available.

What makes this even more frustrating is that none of this was made clear upfront. Only after purchasing did I find out there was a required 90-minute timeshare presentation attached to the deal. That was never properly disclosed during the sales process. If I choose not to attend the presentation, then I’m expected to pay even more money for the room anyway. At that point, I might as well have just booked a regular hotel directly without all the games and restrictions.

The entire experience feels like a bait-and-switch. You’re shown attractive destinations and promises of discounted vacations, but once you actually try to use the package, suddenly the advertised resorts are “unavailable,” and you’re pushed toward completely different properties far away from where you wanted to stay. I wanted a relaxing vacation in Sedona — not to be sent an hour or two away and spend my trip driving around Arizona.

Customer service is another major issue. It regularly takes 20–30 minutes just to get someone on the phone. That part is extremely frustrating, especially when you’re already dealing with booking problems. To be fair, once you finally reach someone, the representatives themselves are usually very polite and professional. The employees seem well-trained and genuinely nice. The problem is there clearly are not enough of them to handle the volume of calls.

I strongly believe they need to hire more customer service staff because the current wait times are unacceptable. A company selling travel packages should have support available without forcing customers to sit on hold for half an hour every single time they need help.

After researching further, I realized many other customers report the same issues: unavailable dates, hidden presentation requirements, long hold times, upselling, and feeling misled about what was actually included. 

Overall, I’m extremely disappointed. The advertising felt misleading, the availability was nothing like what was promised, the timeshare presentation requirement was not clearly disclosed upfront, and the customer service wait times make an already frustrating process even worse. I went into this expecting a vacation experience and instead got stress, wasted time, and disappointment.

Excellent Customer Service
