You placed your trade-in on 14/02/2026, and the device (Apple iPhone 11) was subsequently shipped to us, after which our inspection process began. Once the inspection was completed, we shared the full report with you and provided the maximum valuation based on the actual condition of the device.
At the time of the order, the device (Apple iPhone 11) was selected as Excellent condition, which requires no scratches on the screen, sides, or back, and battery health above 80%. During our standard inspection, our technicians found heavy scratches on the screen, sides, and back, and the battery health was below 80%. Under our grading criteria, any device with battery health below 80% is automatically classified as Fair condition, and the revised offer reflected the appropriate maximum value for that grade.
Please note that, as per our policy, if a customer declines the revised offer, the device is returned. As soon as you rejected the revised offer and requested the return in order to reuse the device, the free return shipping process was initiated promptly.
We always aim to be transparent and provide photo evidence so customers can make informed decisions. We also encourage selecting the most accurate condition during the trade-in process to help avoid any inconvenience.

Mobile due for delivery next day. Waited in then got email for delivery slot dpd. Slot passes. Get email 'our driver missed you'. At the time of supposed delivery attempt I was outside so couldn'd be missed. I contacted mobile direct and explained my thoughts. They investigated. Called me back three times and having spoken to dpd guaranteed I would receive my phone that day. Not long after received my phone. Really pleased with phone, excellent condition but even more impressed with the customer service provided. Recommend

Called at funeral to remove bad review
Wrote a negative review about my experience and the decide to offer me maximum 450 out of £466 they should have offered. But he was only offering me the 450 only if I took my negative review down. Because it would affect his promotion and job if I didn’t. Recieved payment 20/02/26 during early hours then these jokers call me twice at a funeral to take my previous bad review down. I told them I was at a funeral the only acceptable answer is sorry we will call another time. But instead m.Omar told me I had to take my review down as I had received the money for my phone. So I have obliged and now I’m writing this one just to let people know how these crooks operate.

For clarity, you placed the trade-in on 16 February 2026, and following inspection on 18 February 2026, our support team shared the inspection report along with a revised offer. When you initially declined and requested the return of your device, the return process was arranged in line with our standard procedure.
During your last chat with our team, you mentioned that you would consider removing your review once the device was returned. In an effort to keep your trade-in successful and retain you as a Customer, our team reviewed your case and made an exception by increasing the offer from £400 to £450, despite the noted condition issue (slight worn screen). After receiving your approval, the payment was processed accordingly.
We have reviewed the call logs, and the final call was intended to confirm that the payment had been successfully transferred to your account.
We want to emphasise that we genuinely value customer feedback. Reviews—both positive and negative—help us improve our service and maintain the standards our customers expect.

Your security system is working agaist your business
Your system allowed me to buy a mobile phone because I approved the transaction on my bank app and also I provided Shopify code. I have the right to use VPN and that's can't be a reason to flag me.
I understand that it might be difficult for your business to know which transaction might be fraudulent and which one is not but whoever made the decision to email me asking of photo ID without providing a secure, encrypted way to send my ID is not right. You could wait for the transaction to be cleared by the bank, as I suggested, but you have chosen to cancel the order and the transaction because you felt safer, as I also suggested. I'm sorry but not only your security system failed you but also the person who had the chance to check what happened and why the system might flagged me, failed you also. Not hard feelings, I bought my new phone from somewhere else and you lost a sale.
