Had a backlog, and the team at Meru got us up to date in a timely fashion. Reasonable rates and consistent results. Previously had an in house bookkeeper, but Meru is actually more efficient. Recommended!

Quick and professional

They good in meeting up the deadline, completing the backlog accounting work but when it comes to follow IFRS accounting standard they lack the quality to deliver the work. Quantity is match but lacks Quality. Could be better.

We contracted Meru Accounting via Upwork. My experience had nothing been worst. There were lot of mistakes, and we paid for those mistakes. we finally took away all the work and paid other company to finish the job. Normally I do not write review, but we paid quite a sum for their mistakes. They do not have senior resource who will know your business, matter fact in some case we have to advise them how accounting works. if you are a client that is billed hourly, convert that to fixed price. More importantly if you are looking for senior resource, not the company I would hire. There were lot of apologies, but apologies can only go so far. There are better companies that will have more impact on your business. If you think they are cheaper, trust me when you account for time and your effort, you will end up paying more. Management will absolutely do nothing to resolve the situation. During your sales cycle you will meet CA, after that nothing but junior resources who will be working on your account. Was not going to write the review, but the level of fixes our current accountant did forced me to go this route.

I wish i have provide you the proof, but if you are a prospective business, stay away as far as you can. You will save lot of headache.

Meru are a great team to work with. At first, I was reluctant to use a book keeping team not based in my country, however after reading many reviews and speaking with some of their existing clients, I was impressed. The team are super efficient and provide a fantastic service. When we have some issues, they respond quickly and provide trusting advice. After my recent meeting, we have agreed to do more bookkeeping and payroll services and hoping it will be a lasting business relationship. There is always improvements to be made, but they are genuinely a great bunch of people.
