Package never arrived, had an email from Australia Post saying package was delayed (read lost). I got in touch with Mecca using their live chat and was told I'd hear back within two business days. Didn't hear anything, now on the phone on hold - been waiting for 40 minutes and still listening to terrible hold music. This is the worst customer service I have experienced.

Purchased a tom ford sample pack. Delivery was via Aramex however, the item was apparently left ATL- Mecca never provoked any photo yet asked me to send photos of my door, and then said it was delivered and too bad so sad. I did not give any authority to leave my item, so now am out of pocket and need to arrange a chargeback

Have tried to call Mecca customer service keep u on hold for 70 mins 2 attempts to speak to them they never call back worst customer support I have ever experienced never using them for make up or products again !! Unacceptable

A girl gave me the wrong colour foundation after trying it on my face. I should have known when she said "if it's too light you can put some bronzer on". Luckily I had a sample of the concealer that I tried before opening the foundation. The girls were super nice when I came in to exchange it!

So surprised to see all the low rated feedback on here, personally I’ve never had any issues and I’ve been a loyal customer for years. I do online orders very regularly and I really love how they do overnight shipping. And the times that I’ve gone in to the store they’ve always been really nice and helpful!

Such back customer service. I brought an $89 room spray which broke after 1/4 was used. They refused to accept a return or exchange. I've had an account and ave been a loyal customer for years. Let's just say you buy it and you keep it no returns. Sucks because this was a BIG splurge for me :(

I wish I could give 0 star. I lost the trust from Mecca nz today.time after time worst experience. I been to mecca store queen street for click and collect and staff was very rude to me and she said stop in very rude way and then she went to inside to get my parcel and she put it in the table in rider manner . I could not see my parcel. I asked her where is my parcel.she said can’t you see it and see was laughing on me but one the other side she was treating other customers so nicely. I felt embarrassed and upset and I came home.
Then I send mecca to email and no reply and call the customer service she said I will receive call from regional manager. But no one call . Today again I lost my parcel and it is showing delivered when checked on Courior post website . But checked everywhere I couldn’t find my parcel when I called mecca customer service they said it can take up to 5 business days. Anyways I was already waiting from last 3 weeks for parcel.I was long term customer but it seems like their customer team is not interested listening me as customer as this issue was keep happening from the past and. Before this it was my $1400 value parcel which driver put to neighbours house and neighbour said she did not received my parcel . After 2 days they returned my parcel with open box and my item was missing from Mecca today the 7 time.
Honestly customer service was asking if checked properly and they don’t improve their service . But asking me things seriously can’t believe this .

Their online customer service is a JOKE!!! I placed order 2 weeks ago and was flagged that I need to provide my ID's which I provided very same day. 10 days, I have send several email and no response. Take your funds into their account and earn interest for days whilst we wait for order. Be very careful! Upon chat service I have been advised they will come back to me when they can. When we place order they deduct money straight away from account but when it comes to servicing then we have to wait for weeks.

this will be the last time i shop at Mecca, their online customers service is a joke, helpless and very unprofessional, 3 weeks delivery and my order is not even delivered yet. I know its Covid-19 situation but Adore Beauty& Lookfanstatic can still do better delivery than Mecca . Mecca is seriously such a mess in dealing with customers services, they need to realize they are no longer "exclusive" since now Sephora has entered Australia and many other online retailer that perform better than them. Just still live in their own "bubble" and treat their custumers poorly. Never shop there again and I've been their customers for 5 years.

They tried to talked over me while I was explaining, made me feel dumb and little given I’m not a well spoken person.
I received a gift card for my birthday. One day I was about to use it, found out there wasn’t any money left. Although I never used it nor it went missing. It just kept sitting in my vanity for almost a year. Anyway I tried to call them and they said they had to investigate and will call back. Never did. I tried to call again, they said the same thing told me to wait. A week later, they called explaining why there is no fund in my gift card. Her explanation was “human error”, that the card was never actually paid for, that it was a mistake a $100 gift card found its way to my friend’s bag and she never gave it back to the person who sold it to her after changing her mind. She went on accusing my friend for stealing the card and being a bad friend as she gifted me an “empty card” which has the value and date of purchase on it. Then she told me to give you my friend’s info so she can investigate more and told me to confront my friend why she somehow bought an empty card. I’ve been a loyal customer for years but I gave up after that call 😞 yeh I understand she must have known about her policy etc. but she didn’t have to lecture me like a 5 year old. Anyway I hope no one has to experience this.

Delighted by the service received. Living in the UK, I wanted to buy an aftershave lotion for my son living in Sydney. The brand I wanted is called Diptyque Vetyverio and, having contacted the perfume house in Paris, I was told that they do not have distribution in Australia but Mecca may be able to help. I contacted
Sal on Mecca's chat line who advised "no problems" as they had the product in stock. The order was placed and delivered well within the promised timescale. Well done Mecca and thanks for such brilliant service

Worst online shopping experience ever.
After taking my money when I ordered a red light face mask ($619) some days later Mecca email me to tell me I have to prove who I am via very personal documents.
I am told I have to give them these documents or I will not receive my order.
They have the money, if there was any problem it would be between my bank and me.
I will not shop there again!

Extremely poor customer service.
They sold me a skincare product that was due to expire one month after they sold it to me. Two template emails later, I lodged a formal complaint two weeks ago with absolutely no response. I used to love this brand for their service, but it's taken a huge dive and they've lost a loyal customer.

Mecca doesn't seem to understand customer service during this Melbourne 'lockdown".
They don't understand the word "communicate".

They should take lessons from ii Net in customer relations.

Never had a problem with Mecca until now I had 3 orders one turned up and they cancelled the other two without telling me and when asked they said they had permission I’m not entirely sure who by but I’m actually gutted as were in lockdown I can’t get what I need else where but to scared to order online from here again so I definitely won’t be.

3 times i ordered a cream online only to have my order be cancelled and no notification of it. need to wait 20mins on the phone for the customer service help to tell me that i need to spend probably an hour and send my ID to prove the order is not fradulent. i always order online and never have issues. guess you have enough business to care about new customers

I recently purchased a mascara from this company. When it arrived it was ridiculously over packaged in paper and a box 230x 170 x120.
You would imagine that if a company takes the time to do this then they would possibly take the time to make sure that the product is not faulty.
My mascara was bone dry!
When I telephoned to complain I got told to take the parcel to the post office with the reply paid label they would send. Also could I take a picture of the product to email to them. When I pointed out that a picture would tell the. Nothing, I was asked if I could take a video.I had already explained that I am a senior pensioner and that the post office is not close but it
Seems to me that in this day and age the customer had to do all the work for the company that has sent out faulty goods.
Now I have to get someone to run me to the post office and wait another 12 days at least before they get it and then process a refund.

Rubbish!

received an order of skin care products. In a Kiehls duo set I purchased the eye cream was missing. I sent a few emails and called customer service asking for my missing item or a refund. Reading the reviews on mecca's customer service I did not think the matter was going to be resolved. Whilst it took around 4 days, I did receive a reply offering for my missing item to be sent to me or a full refund. Within 5 minutes or less of my reply with my request they sent an email confirming the product was being sent to me attached with a tracking number. I'm happy with the outcome. I'm definitely confident to order with mecca again.

Bought the Drunk Elephant Lala Whipped Cream, great product but customer service is a major let down :(
