I was put in contact with Saeed at…
I was put in contact with Saeed at Magna Financial to help us lock in at a good GBP-Euro rate for my property purchase in Spain, although the communication was good to start with when the rate dropped I was told that if I had of listened to him and locked in sooner I would of secured a better deal, and was bombarded with lots of messages like it’s up to you lock in now or the rate will get worse, he asked that I transfer 20k as a sweetener so he could go out to the Banks to secure a good rate but a good rate is not what I was offered I was told that the rate needed to be atleast 1.165 to secure a locked in rate of 1.15, so that’s 1.5% he wanted to take in commission, having spoken to other companies I was told that he never should of asked for money from me to secure a rate it’s only when you agree on a trade that a company will ask for a deposit up front, usually 5%. The company I went with offered me a better rate and deal and were nowhere near as greedy with their margins. I guess I wanted to write this review to remind people that it’s best to shop around just because you are recommended to use a company, it’s always best to try three different companies, there are better companies out there and remember no one should feel pressured or bullied which is what I felt like. I’m thankful I got my money back and will avoid this company in the future.

Expert, efficient, professional service
Having purchased a second home in the village in which we live in France, I needed to transfer a substantial amount of money from Australia to our French bank account.
On the advice of our financial advisor in France I decided to use Magna Financial. Not having ever used a broker before, I was initially a little nervous and hesitant but my experience could not have been better.
Saeed was extremely friendly and professional. He explained the whole process clearly and concisely and guided me every step of the way. He kept in constant communication whether through WhatsApp messages or personal phone calls. He handled the transfer efficiently and made sure the converted funds were in the French bank account before the due date. In a volatile global economic market, I believe he converted Aus dollars to Euros at the best possible rate.
I therefore have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him.

Extremely helpful
Osman at Magna Financial couldn't have been more helpful. He took care of opening an account in Great Britain so we could purchase a little place in France - and even reimbursed us for the wire transfer fees to fund the account.
He also pointed out a tool they have that allows you to freeze a future currency exchange at today's currency exchange rate, which reduces stress levels when the worlds' economies are in turmoil.
