Scam
My nephew was using my phone and somehow managed to sign me up
..I contacted the customer service team 3 times and was told on one occasion that they couldn't cancel because of a technical error, that was over 100 pounds ago!!!! They still keep taking money.Absolute scam avoid at all costs, even if it stated free lines/numbers...i'm having to go to my bank as they keep taking money out usually around 5 in the morning....and for all the 'lines" i haven't had one win.....and i'm still waiting on a call from the team ...disgusted by this. Due to ill health i'm not working just now so thanks to lotto social i've been loving in my overdraft for the last 2 months.

Hi,
Thank you for getting in touch. We're sorry to hear about the difficulties you've experienced.
We'd like to clarify that it is unusual to hear that you were previously advised that your membership could not be cancelled due to a technical error. We will certainly look into this further, including reviewing your previous contacts with our Customer Service team and the subsequent payments on the account.
From the information available, it appears that an ongoing membership was set up when the account was created, which would explain the recurring payments. We appreciate that you may not have intended to continue with the membership, and we'd like to understand exactly what happened when you contacted us to cancel it.
Please provide us with the telephone number associated with your Lotto Social account so we can locate the correct account and investigate this properly.
Kind regards,
Alex

Was given a discounted trial for a week which I started on Friday, they then tried to charge me full price the next day when it clearly says every Friday, luckily my bank account stopped it.

Hi Dale,
Thank you for your feedback. We'd like to clarify that membership charges are scheduled to be taken the day after the initial trial/entry and in advance, for the upcoming membership period.
We'd therefore like to take a closer look at the specific offer and pricing applied to your account to make sure everything was charged correctly.
If you could provide us with the telephone number associated with your account, we'll be happy to investigate this for you.
Kind regards,
Alex

Cordialement,
Alex
