Just want to thank the very thoughtful driver who drove off laughing as we were running towards the 44 at about 8.46 on Monday 19th. I Suppose we were about 20 yards from stop and it would have been difficult for him to wait 10 seconds. Still as we are both late 70's the exercise and long wait was good for us

These companies should be sued by the people for the mess they have our public transport in. Crazy to think undeveloped countries have a better services than Scotland or any brittish country. When buses are running 20 and 30 minutes late these companies should have there trading license revoked and face substantial fines. Horrendous and embarrassing service if you can even call it a service. The only people these companies service are the owners and share holders.

I got 22 bus from crewtoll today at 13.15. I was with my wee one. There were two passengers before me to get down in my destination. I was with my daughter near to the stairs. She closed the door before we get down. She didn’t say anything and keep watching through the Mirror. This is the first time getting a bad experience from Lothian bus service. Never ever promoted.

LRT drivers don't care
On my way to work the driver along with driving at a snails pace on an empty road decided to sit at an equally empty bus stop when I enquired and mentioned that due to this action I'd miss my next bus and be late for work then driver of the number 3 (626) replied I don't t care I'm in charge of the bus!
08:30 30/07/24 I suggest we all buy cars as LRT obviously don't care about their passengers disgusting attitude to have maybe you want to come up with a timetable drivers can adhere to and training in etiquette and manners
I can’t rely on any bus anymore
I can’t rely on any bus anymore, I always end up ordering a cab or Uber because of this. Sometimes they never stop and lie on the apps that they did and then out of the blue they arrive or not. I can’t explain the level of frustration this gives me. It used to work so well and now it ruins your whole day, I can’t get to appointments on time anymore. I hate Lothian buses

Racial abuse and sexual abuse (verbal)
Myself and my wife had a terrible experience of racial abuse as well as sexually explicit language from another man whilst in Bus number 31. The driver did nothing and walked away saying that he will do nothing about it. I had to call 999. Terrible experience. Make sure your your safety prior to boarding Lothian Bus

Got the no 5 bus today from mountcastle @ 3 . 36 pm going from top of mountcastle into town . The driver was an absolute delight . When I got off other people were talking how nice he was also . I hope he reads this . Often I say thanks and I get ignored but he couldn’t have been nicer . Honestly he lifted everyone s spirits . Well done .

Been getting the 16 from oxgangs for about 2 months now and ushally it's about a 20 min wait after the bus is suppose to be there. Not great I know but Today...... I waited 55 mins. There suppose to be every 15/20 mins. Not 1 turned up. Lothian buses are completely useless.

Good service
We recently travelled to Edinburgh for a long weekend, we used both the buses and trams and we thought the day rider tickets were well priced and the bus service and conditions were very good. We would use again, I seem a lot of negative reviews and therefore caveat that we only stayed for a long weekend.
Really sh*ty servid
Single-decker buses are not running. I changed my job and with it the buses I use to get around the city and I'm in shock. Until now I haven't really complained about Lothian buses but single-deckers like 1, 2, 38, 36 are never on time. I get to the bus stop about 15 minutes before the bus arrives and often wait over 40 minutes for a bus that is scheduled to run every 30 minutes. The company has been consistently lowering the quality of its service for the past few years. One of the worst public transport systems in Europe.

Lothian Buses are excellent in my opinion. I have no issues. I have also read some negative reviews, and clearly, "some people" haven't got a clue what it takes to run buses on time. I assume, most of these critics don't drive and are not familiar with weather and traffic congestion. So to summarise, Falls, your on a moving vehicle, losing balance happens when you stand up on a moving vehicle before the bus comes to a stop. The lights does read "Bus Stopping", so think about it, just take care. Advice, ring the bell and stay seated, or if standing, hold on tight. You to, have responsibility for your own safety.
"No wonder there is more cars on the road", & "buses running late". Ask yourself negative review author, what came first, the chicken or the egg? Buses have to compete with every other road user theses days and maintaining an on time, time table, especially during peak times and unexpected events, can be challenging.
Give the good people at Lothian Buses a break and have a bit of empathy.
Good job Lothian Buses, keep on going. Our communities rely on you.
They couldn't run a bath
They couldn't run a bath.
Timetables seem to be irrelevant to drivers. Bus tracker is pointless. No wonder there are so many cars on the road.
Injury in the bus
I was taking the bus #1 from city centre to Fountain park, got off at Fountain park at 18.20pm. Some drunk guy fell on my legs and had something heavy with sharp corners in his pocket or somewhere, which caused me massive bruise and pain. Super dissapointed.
Never had a problem with Lothian
Never had a problem with Lothian. Drivers always very cheery and willing to help people. Travelshop staff always polite and quick to help you. Some companies could learn a lot from this one.
