I am happy with the level of service…

I am happy with the level of service received. I ordered a DKNY Parfume, I ordered on 26 August 2023 and received the goods on 30 August 2023. I would like to advise that when you order, you need to check if the product is in stock, if not, it will delay due to the importing of the goods. I am a happy customer. There is value for money in what I have bought. Thank you Loot :-)

Faulty Mecer Tablet

I bought a tablet. It worked for 2 weeks. Kept on logging off every time I switched it on. Loot fetched it. Then wanted the cables and took 3 weeks, after daily phone call reminders, to fetch it. Then they said the tablet is damaged. The screen was cracked and it was dented. I asked for camera footage as proof that when they opened it, it was damaged. Never received it. Asked for the matter to be referred higher up etc. Then they sent the tablet to me, saying they fixed it as a courtesy. No damage to screen, etc. But, now it does not recognise when the Simcard is inserted. So, I bought a brand new tablet but have not have any use from it and Loot has no customer care.

It's been 1 week now and still waiting…

It's been 1 week now and still waiting for an order that was supposedly "in stock". They promised delivery 2 days after shipping. Customer support is non-existent. They don't respond to your tickets and no one ever answers the phone. Never again Loot!

Payment made, but no order no and no response

I placed an order and paid with Zapper. The payment went through successfully and the money was debited from my account. The problem is that after that process, the order process failed on Loot.co.za, something that has happened before. That means I don't have an order number, but have already paid for the order.
Their support is non-existent and they don't respond to emails.
I only managed to get this resolved with the help of Zapper, that has excellent customer support.

The Good and the Bad

Good - Pricing seems competitive.
Good - Delivery service is faster than most online competitors.
Bad - Website layout gets a below average score.
Bad - Loot Android App response time is more often than not way, way too slow.

My previous review of Loot

My previous review of Loot, was completely downbeat & negative, but surprise surprise, they came up trumps, with delivery today of Christmas presents, that were needed for Christmas day, that's an A++...maybe there's someone listening in Loot, for a change & well done to you guys, for getting the job & parcel delivered!!!

I see Loot getting a lot of negative…

I see Loot getting a lot of negative reviews here and feel bad for them overall. I will admit that their shipping times can be slow, but I've managed to find a number of unique items at loot that I could not source elsewhere. Also, their pricing rivals Takealot. I've bought from them a few times and have dealt with their customer care, they seem like good people.

Awaiting refund/cancellation

Dear Loot
I ordered an Item from you which was showing as 5-7 days for delivery. When almost 1 month and what was clearly becoming the third delivery delay passed, I requested for cancellation on 11 November. Today is 17 November and I contact your call centre every day, to which I am advised they need to send the request to the Warehouse and will come back to me in 30 minutes with feedback - I am still waiting for feedback and need to call daily.

Please escalate this refund and contact me urgently, because at the moment it looks like you guys are just delaying this request. I really hate complaining on Social media but you guys aren't being lekker......

I no longer need this item as I ordered it on Takealot and received it withing 2 days.

Should be 0 stars. Bad online company. Stay away at all cost. I have ordered more than 2 months ago from them and only received part of the order. They are full of excuses and promises but almost impossible to get any joy out of. Do not waste your money

Over Promise, Don't Deliver

What a disaster of a company! Placed an order on 20/10/2022 that said that all items were in stock and the order would be delivered by 26/10/2022. It is now already 01/11/2022 and no update on this order. After 2x phone calls to customer care (the first customer care rep promised to follow up and get back, which he did not) I've pretty much been told that they have moved warehouses so they will eventually ship it out some time within the next two weeks but they aren't 100% sure where the order is or when I will actually receive it. If I want to cancel my order they will have to do an EFT refund (since I did not pay by credit card as their payment gateway was down when placing the order - to make things worse) which will take several days. I've never experienced such bad service for an e-commerce company and will definitely never be using them again! So many better options with far better service. Avoid at all costs!

Ordered three items from them only to…

Ordered three items from them only to be told after payment that one of the items was not in stock.I ordered on 04/10/22 and received the parcel on 21/10/22.Thankfully,they kept on sending me emails informing me of the delays in their process.My only issue with them is the crazy period of time taken to deliver.Lots of improvement on their side is needed

Loot.co.za Lies to You

Ordered an item which was labelled as being available. Two days later, Loot informs me that the item is out of stock and thus can't be delivered anymore. To say I am disappointed would be an understatement. False advertising. Loot is a disgrace and should be ashamed of themselves.
