Color did not match website photos
Color did not match website photos — disappointing customer service

I pre-ordered a Sozy skirt in Black Bouquet for $91 based on the photos shown on the website. When I received the skirt, the color did not match the online images. The website photos showed blue/purple tones that were not present in the skirt I received.
I contacted customer service and provided photos as requested. After taking the time to document the issue, I was told they would “share the feedback with the team,” but the only resolution offered was free return shipping and a short extension of the return window.
This was disappointing because this was not a simple “changed my mind” return. The issue was that the product color did not match the website representation. I asked for a small courtesy coupon due to the discrepancy, and they refused.
For a $91 skirt, I expected better accuracy in the listing photos and better customer service when the item did not match what was advertised. I will be returning the skirt. Future buyers should be aware that the colors shown online may not match what arrives.

I wish no stars, I ordered several dresses and skirts and an order of 3 dresses and one skirt, one dress was not the one I ordered. I returned it and didn’t try it on. I am trying to return a dress that has no stretch and a skirt that’s too big. I messaged 3 times in a week for a label because it said I could not return. they emailed. That I can’t return because what I returned before was not the right item and the skirt had an odor. Not true. This company is such a scam. Now I got an email I can return if I pay to ship it. I do not trust them so I’ll sell it to consignment. Do not trust this company and look at the low stars. If I had seen this I would never have ordered from them. Scammers I just posted on my fb what this company did to me. Disgusting.
I’m sad that I’ve bought more than one…
I’m sad that I’ve bought more than one item from them because the amount of money that I have given them for what I thought was going to be an extremely well-made product is not the case. I bought one of their skirts with the pockets and although I have had this skirt for nine months, I have only worn it maybe five times and honestly washed it maybe twice following the directions. I was excited to wear it yesterday and saw that the back seam material is already coming apart and it’s about 10” long. I have clothes that I’ve bought from Walmart that have lasted longer than paying over $100 for these items and having it last only nine months with very little wear. We’re supposed to be paying more money for better material that should also be lasting longer. I’m also going to add that I bought a dress from them and it’s crooked so every time I wear it I feel like I have to shift it over constantly. I emailed them and they could care less because it’s been 9 months. Proceed with caution.

My package never got delivered and they refused to help me with an insured package.
The quality and customer service is low
I used to love this company but it seems as though the quality has gone down. And customer service treats you like you’re lying if you need a refund. I wore a shirt one time and it started to come undone at the seem, but because I had owned it for 45 days, they said they can’t help me and I could try selling it in their pre-loved store. Such a wild suggestion for something that has a hole in it.
I convinced them to change their mind but only if I donated the shirt, got a receipt for proof of donation and sent them a picture of the receipt within 10 business days, then they’ll refund me. I don’t trust them anymore, this was several messages and I felt like they were blaming me the whole time. I would just save your money here and shop stores with better return policies, or that will own their mistakes and make it right.
Overall: I will continue shopping with Sozy
Overall I like this company. The return policy is strict and I have had some items with iffy quality, but nothing major: a couple of buttons coming undone and a strap frayed and coming undone after 1 wash - all easy fixes for myself. It was disappointing for the price I paid - but customer service has been able to make it right for me on each occasion.
The sweaters are great quality, a newly released linen dress is amazing quality, and some other items I’ve learned to be a bit more gentle in care for.
I will continue to purchase from this company because I do love their products and their mission - especially during their sales.

I bought a jumpsuit and cropped sweater. The fit wasn’t the greatest for the sweater. I returned it, but kept the jumpsuit. The sizing info is difficult to ascertain. Return process was smooth though. I would order from them again.

I have the Mia Midi skirt and I wouldn’t recommend. When I took it off a couple hours later, the top string from the cinched part of the skirt was completely unraveled. Poor quality for the price and the return policy doesn’t accommodate worn damaged clothing.
I also had a horrible experience with customer service at one point too, but that’s another story.
Some of their clothing has been fine, but it is way over priced and is hand wash only which is super inconvenient.

I needed customer service through the website and got nowhere. When I resubmitted my request, they claimed they never received anything and still refused to help me with a return. Extremely poor customer service and a disappointing experience — especially considering the premium I paid for this product. I won’t be doing business with them again.

Would not recommend shopping with these guys based on how they treat their customers. I sent a return package, used the kiosk to print the labels and threw the package into the metal bin on the wall at the post office. That is the last status update from USPS, the package is lost and I have filled a missing report.
Because the package didn't magically change status when I threw it into the bin, they have made it clear they think I am a liar and told me that until the status changes to "in transit" they refuse to do anything, or offer any help. So now I am out $200 because the post office lost/never scanned the package. I would also highly recommend against ever calling your customers liars.
BEWARE I tried to plead my case on Instagram and Facebook, and instead of helping they immediately blocked me on both platforms. seems to be their MO based on other platforms.

I've been very happy with all of my Sozy pieces. Fabrics are quality, and have held up with many wears and washes. One of my go-to brands.

This is a very pretty linen blouse, I got it in pale pink. The top is loose fitting around the neck and shoulders but snug around the waist due to the cinched detail. It features two wooden button embellishments and overall feels airy, breezy, and feminine.

Great shopping experience. My wife loved the clothes and it was such a comfortable piece! She wore it all day and our daughter loves how it looks and how my wife raved about it so much that she wants one too!
I hate to write negative feedback given…
I hate to write negative feedback given what this company aims to be, and that it is a small business, but I have been a loyal customer for several years and it just isn't what it used to be. They used to aim to be in tune with what customers wanted - they even had a Facebook page through which you could directly communicate with the founder and customer service representatives. That group was closed with only hours notice - if we had photos, connections, or specific information within that group, we could no longer access it. They made another group for a specific group of women through which they were to gain feedback but that was closed. It seems that they only ended up wanting positive affirmations rather than to understand what their most loyal customers actually wanted. Moreover, the quality, crafting, fabrics, and designs of the clothing has fallen away while prices have skyrocketed. There was formerly a rewards program with points but they ended that. Those of us with points to use lost them if we didn't purchase quickly enough. They replaced it with a tiered purchasing system and their annual sales are barely more than what you could save if you buy 3+ items. The prices were always high, but I felt like I could depend on the quality and could maneuver with their loyalty points. That is no longer the case. Moreover, the customer service and return procedures are horrible. I get that they are more of a small batch business, but a customer shouldn't be punished when the sizing listed on the internet is generic and does not truly reflect what is advertised. Speaking of sizing, everything fits so much smaller. If you want to feel somehow body shamed by a garment, order a piece from here in your normal size and look at how tight and awful it will fit on you. These items, in terms of size and style, are made to fit the founder. If you aren't 5'4, with a slight but curvy figure, and B-C cup breasts, these clothes likely won't hang right. Lastly, they encourage solely handwashing and flat/hang drying all of their pieces. If I am spending this much money on clothing, it should be durable and sewn well enough to withstand a cold and gentle cycle. I have had to bring several of my items to local seamstresses to fix items where the seams came undone, buttons arrived already having fallen off, and straps that came off after a single wear. For a company that champions women, the clothing is far too expensive, the styles are bland, the fits are not inclusive, and the customer service is lacking.

Dresses and skirts...oh, and pants!
Can you own too many Sozy items? I hope not, because I think I now have 2 dresses, maybe 6 skirts and 2 pairs of pants? :) They're great to wear anytime - to work or hang out with friends, and are good quality (thank goodness, since they're a bit pricey). I've been wearing them with crop tops or a tank & jacket. I'm 5'8", 180 lbs and usually wear Med & Large. I bought the skirts in XL and they still fit great even after losing weight. The first dress I got in XL, the second in L (post-weight loss) and they both fit well (the L more fitted than the XL, but the XL isn't swimming on me). The pants I got in XL, but I don't like them being too fitted. I needed to return one item and chose to exchange it for a different item instead of a return-return, and Sozy's website made that pretty easy.

I’ve been shopping at Sozy since 2020, so at this point almost 5 years (wow).
I love their mission and they’ve really let me lean into feeling comfortable in my clothing while also feeling like I can express my style. At one point almost my entire closet was Sozy — I loved how simple it made things because then everything goes with everything else.
I also love that they have a resale platform on Treet because I can cycle through items if I find I’m not wearing them and move them to a good home then use the money I receive to purchase something else on Sozy. (You get 110% your sale if you turn it into a store gift card.)
It’s been cool to watch them evolve. They’re always testing out new materials and styles. Their durability can vary based on the material — the nature of using lightweight, stretchy or natural fabrics. They used to have a return shipping fee which I gladly paid to return anything I tried on that didn’t feel good or fit on me. Now they have free returns which is really cool of them.
I was part of the FB group that the founder was in for the first few years and got to hear some behind the scenes. It’s truly a thoughtful company run by real people.
It all started with one purchase
This top is my new favorite addition to my wardrobe. I absolutely love how soft the material is and love the fact you can wear it two ways creating different looks. I personally love to wear it backwards more so that the triangle is in the back. I have so many dresses that I was able to bring back to life because of this top and I’m so excited about it! I love how it layers and it’s super comfortable. I washed mine by hand because I was afraid that it would shrink in a machine and the torso in this shirt is already short because it’s the style. I ended up going one size up than I’d normally wear, so for this style a medium fit best for me. I’m 5’3 and 130lbs. I can’t express enough though how much this top has upgraded my wardrobe and how many new outfits I can make now just from this one top! It’s been fun trying it was all of my clothes and creating new looks! I just ordered two more in different colors.
Since then I’ve also ordered multiple dresses and skirts, linen pants that again, they are some of my favorite pieces in my wardrobe. You can tell everything is made with care and quality so that’s why you can expect a higher price. But I think the customer service, shipping as well as the products all are worth it and I personally feel is worth 5 stars. It all started with one purchase, now I have placed many orders with them and they have yet to disappoint me. Always beautiful pieces! Always receive compliments. ☺️
