It was a seamless journey with them. Only a few times did they not get back to me about some of my questions, but I do know they are working diligently on my case. I am always updated as well. It's also very convenient that they have a digital platform. Jessie,Ruth and Laurie are brilliant! Especially Jessie,she can be reached anytime. It's flawless that they work together with my broker.

Very poor communication and almost lost a sale because of Beam. I would not use them again as they were appalling at customer service yet very happy to charge a fee despite such poor service.
Upon completion they also withheld some of my funds when they shouldn’t have and I got a weak apology when I questioned it.
Sadly I can’t recommend them.

They are going to tell you whatever you need to hear on the initial call and later the true.
I had a situation i was very clear and direct on the first call, they told not to worry about it.
Later when i closed my sell agreed they call me to tell me was not ok and cant take me as a customer. Highly frustrating.

Extremely difficult company to deal with and made our house sale and purchase an absolute nightmare and we were extremely lucky to have not lost the purchase as a result of what happened throughout. They were recommended by the mortgage broker on account of them using a shared online platform so we incorrectly presumed this would make it all much easier. We were also advised that everything was digital and again we presumed this would make it easier. They were not fully digital and dealing with BEAM made everything much harder than necessary. They were extremely bad at communication with us and with their parent company who they did not seem to communicate with whatsoever which made selling and buying at the same time extremely difficult. From the outset they claimed they could not complete our purchase on the same day as our sale so we had huge additional costs as a result of this (double moving fees with removal company, storage fees plus air bnb fees). They were unable to witness a number of our legal documents so we had to organise witnesses for these ourselves (bank representatives, other solicitors etc). Solicitor who looked after our account at BEAM was extremely inefficient and lacked experience. The whole process felt extremely unsafe throughout. We raised the issues via our broker and never received a response to any of the issues and were charged full fees and their fees are higher than most despite all of the additional costs incurred by us as a result of their service. Would never use again.

My Husband and I are First Time Buyers, the Beam Team offered a quite invaluable support in navigating our way in becoming home owners. I'm so glad they were part of this journey. Most importantly, there was never a need to come to the Office. All seemingly complexities was handled quite professionally. I'm more than happy to recommend them again and again.

Truly awful experience. My partner’s son was recommended by his broker to use beam and it took seven months after his mortgage approval, to drawdown the funds so he could buy my partner’s house. During this time the mortgage approval expired and he had to re-apply. What should have been a fairly straightforward in family house purchase, turned into a nightmare, especially as my partner and I needed the funds to buy our own apartment. If anyone recommends Beam, run a mile. Would give no stars if possible.

Zack, Ruth and the rest of the Beam team were extremely helpful throughout the process. They were always willing to provide updates whenever we called on them and always kept us up to date on any actions due on our side. Overall, a very pleasant experience for a first time buyer.

Very hard to get hold of.

7 calls later to get my mortgage which is time sensitive for their call and signing.

Time sensitive mortgage to which they are not taking any action and ignoring calls. 2 weeks later and no callback, despite repeated calls and emails.

I'm planning at this point to call every hour and hope the right person answers the phone. That's all I have left.

They're risking my family home, risking my livelihood. Very unimpressed.

I dont understand how there are so many 5 star review when they are costly and are delaying this much.

Amazing experience from Claire and Team. As first time buyers, she was amazing from start to finish, she talked us through every aspect, explained all the complexities in a simplified version, to really help calm our nerves and re assure us where needed. Anastacia our solicitor was always supportive also, and advising us as her client, and helping us ignore undue pressure from the other side. The online tool was amazing for live updates, but at same time you could mail anytime to ask a question and got responses immediately.

I genuinely don't think you need to look for a better solicitor, they were amazing, well priced, but went above and beyond. Thanks again Claire and team.
