Very plain and simple and explained very clearly

Customer services are very helpful and prompt.

The amount of detailed information presented in language that is understandable is to my mind the best feature of this program.

Ease of use. Good layout so all topics are covered.. has been very handy for me knowing all that information is in one place .

At first I struggled, but I am not so good with the computer. There was help available when I needed it, at it felt good to complete our wills, thankyou

Clearly explained process. Easy to navigate. Cost effective

The concept of an online will service is good, no issue with it. However, the continued annual, or 5 year billings, gradually add up to exceed the cost of visiting a local lawyer to draft a will altogether, and for that reason seems prime for a price overhaul. Further, the wills should have an automated 'printed' cover letter with a copy of the printed will directing the executor, power of attorney, and beneficiaries to legalwills.ca to trigger the 'keyholder' actions once a will holder passes away. Otherwise there is no trigger for these individuals to even know there's an online will with legalwills.ca. Years can pass and an executor or power of attorney may not even be aware of legalwills.ca

It was easy and straightforward

would have been nice to be able to explain my wishes a bit more fully with out having to add a written page for further explain, but overall excellent .

Admittedly we did get stuck on one of the pages when it came to dividing the will between our children and simutaneously giving a % to charity. However, after a few errors and going back to the previous page we figured it out. Other than that it was very straight forward.

It is an affordable platform that allow me to change my will as my life circumstances change without spending on a lawyer. They frequently send our information emails and workshops on will making. The company reminds you with plenty of time when you need to renew.

We found that the tools are useful to prompt thinking and often contain topics we had not considered earlier.

The final products though are clunky and do not read well. The flow is ruined by the choppy wording and formatting.

This is most noticeable in the MyFuneral module, which forces users down preset paths that are irrelevant if you want to keep your final disposition as low key as possible. The final document is terrible. I strongly feel it needs a complete overall with input from people not focused on formal funeral practices.

All of the modules we used were finally downloaded as PDFs which we then converted to Word Documents, edited ourselves and converted back to PDFs to store on the site in MyVault.

My own will is way too complicated to be “DIY”, so I used the LegalWills output as a starting point to gather all the info and deliver it to my lawyer who then provided the final document, which I will upload to MyVault.

I have advised my KeyHolder to look in MyVault for the “true version” of everything!

Overall, we have not been able to use the site as designed, but really appreciate LegalWills for getting us started on this important planning exercise.

Able to proceed at my pace, without having to rush decisions that require reflection and conversation with affected stakeholders. Move forward not when I’m pushed but when we’re ready

English is not my first language. It guides me every step how to complete the whole process. When I have any uncertainty , the support team responds my emails promptly.

LegalWills has made what always seemed to be a daunting 'to do list' task, so very easy. The format was very well laid out and simple. The preset questions covered every concern. The final draft is well presented and easily printable. And, the price is right!
