Leaders - Woodbridge Omdömen 

I have rented multiple properties through leaders since 2020 and can genuinely say I do not understand how they are still in business.

My experience has been consistently unacceptable. Communication is poor throughout, emails are frequently ignored unless chased and when responses are received, they are often inaccurate or contradictory.

The tenancy renewal process is particularly badly handled. Despite giving advance notice, there were delays, repeated errors in documentation and confusion around agreed payment arrangements.

We also encountered ongoing issues with rent payments after being provided with non functional bank details. Despite raising this multiple times and following the instructions given, we were still wrongly contacted regarding arrears.

Overall, the service has been disorganised, incompetent, and has caused significant and unnecessary stress over an extended period.

This is not the level of professionalism expected when managing something as important as someone’s home and I hope I never have to use them again.

Trustworthy and reliable estate agents, never had a problem and would happily rent from them again!

Michael was great! Always there for us whenever we had any questions or concerns, the whole Woodbridge team is brilliant!

As a landlord I have found Leader’s Service outstanding. Freya and particular absolutely knows her job inside out and has been helpful at every turn Couldn’t ask for more.

Leaders’ so-called “no deposit option” is a complete scam designed to exploit tenants. They charge monthly subscription fees under the guise of making renting more accessible, but at the end of the tenancy, they attempt to impose outrageous and unjustified charges for cleaning, damages, and more—none of which hold up against the evidence.

Despite leaving the property in better condition than when we moved in, they made baseless claims and tried to squeeze us for money. Their communication is poor, and they show no interest in fairness or tenant rights.

This is a predatory practice to loot tenants who trusted their scheme. I would never recommend Leaders to anyone. Save yourself the stress and go with a reputable letting agent instead.

My experience of leaders has been totally positive. I moved from brighton to suffolk and have been through many tenancies, however, the service Josh, Jamie and Ryan provided was excellent. Very welcoming and accommodating, i even got a welcome gift on the day i collected my keys.

As a tenant whilst in the property, communication and support was good. When leaving the property and being accused of leaving it in an unacceptable state, it was a different story. No support or guidance. It was stated in my inspection (that happens after you’ve left, not on the day you leave) that it still required a further ‘light clean’, which was going to cost £260 Im still in dispute and this began on 24 October. I unfortunately didn’t take photos to show how clean the property was left, but neither did they have pictures to show the opposite and back up what they was claiming. I received an email on the 14th Dec to tell me I would be receiving the amount not being disputed, within 5 to 10 working days. I’ve just called them to ask where it is and it hasn’t yet been done, an error on their part. I’ve now been told it ‘should’ be in my account by the end of the week.

I have spoken to a number of people not known to each other who have their own stories on either their experience or someone they know off, when leaving a Leaders property. NONE of them got their full deposit back! It seems the protection is for the landlords not tenants! Take photos when you leave of EVERYTHING including tops of skirting boards, light switches, inside draws, tops of doors etc. All of mine were cleaned but I had no proof sadly. As first time landlord their advice was invaluable. All staff are polite and knowledgable. They ensure that Landlord is kept well informed.
