Very bad experience with Barnsley…
My experience with the Barnsley branch was nothing short of appalling. After progressing a property purchase to an advanced stage (well over 80%), with solicitors actively working and a memorandum of sale already issued, the agency abruptly re-listed the property without any warning or justification.
This was not only deeply frustrating but also a complete waste of time, money, and effort. Their explanation—that the seller was “cooperative”—is wholly inadequate and reflects a serious lack of integrity, transparency, and basic professional standards.
This kind of behaviour shows they cannot be trusted to handle property transactions responsibly. Buyers should be extremely cautious when dealing with this branch, as there appears to be little regard for commitment or fair dealing.

Best Letting Agent in Crewe
A year ago, changed letting agent..... I'm so happy with Andrew and Jackie and the whole team.
I'd had such bad experiences, e.g. charged for 8 years for a service not provided; refurbishing estimates at twice the rate I got for myself because of back-handers. etc.
But with Your Move, Crewe...... Very correct with both landlords and tenants. Efficient service, perfect.

A "Sold" board magically appears.
A "Sold" board magically appears as advertising but wouldn't it have been more sensible to have one advertising the property during the whole of the for sale period.?
Now it is Sold just loads of hassle makes me think they are desperate for their fee. Hassle tends to detract from the amount of time my solicitor has to do their work and therefore needs to be limited to sensible interruptions. Hassling me to hassle my solicitor but also contacting my solicitor directly - in my view unnecessary and unprofessional.

Good morning George, Thank you for your feedback, it helps us maintain high standards. As discussed, for sale boards are usually not permitted in blocks of flats. However, seeing other agents’ boards still displayed, I believed this was allowed and installed a sold board. We are a proactive agent and typically chase progress weekly. Your buyer is aiming for a 4–6 week completion, which is quite ambitious and may not be achievable without steady progress. Currently, your solicitor has not issued any paperwork after 12 days, which may delay the buyer’s solicitor. We’re here to act in your best interests, but as per your instructions, we will liaise with you directly rather than contacting your solicitor. I’m happy to continue working this way to help progress your sale to completion. Sam
