Leaders - Warrington Omdömen 

We rented out our UK home while living abroad. The original company was extremely responsible and reliable. Unfortunately due to acquisition they were taken over by Leaders - that’s when the trouble began.
The service we have received has been nothing short of terrible. Additionally the tenants have equally had a bad experience.
We have been ripped off by cowboy contractors arranged by Leaders, including repair work on a shower that culminated in a major leak and damage to the property.
The communication and response has been diabolical.
They are taking a considerable sum of money to “manage” our property and have failed on all counts.
Do NOT use Leaders if you are considering renting out your property!

I would like to just say a massive Thank you, Ben,Rob & Mike from the Warrington Branch for all your help selling my Dads house.

It has been a difficult time for me but they made it so much easier for me by doing all viewings & helping me with the mind field of paperwork.

They have all be very patient with me and treated my late Dad property with dignity & respect

Leaders Warrington staff are amazing. It started with Chris which passed my files onto Lorena which she did an outstanding job. Lucky to have an employee like her. Communication is 100%, response time is within minutes, regardless it's morning or evening Lorena was still on the ball. Few errors on my behave which leaders went out their way to rectify for me. Highly recommend this business.

Was moving out of my city and contacted leaders for a property. Lorena, one of the letting a consultants, was an absolute gem and helped me through the whole process, she answered all the questions I had and had extremely fast responses. Exceptional costumer service from Lorena and the other consultants at Leaders.

I am currently looking for a property to rent in Warrington. I am clueless about these sorts of things and having to look for somewhere new to live can be challenging. Leaders have always been welcoming and happy to help when I come into the branch in Warrington. Lorena has been particularly helpful which has been really welcomed. Thank you.

Me and my boyfriend completed on a house two weeks ago and we couldn’t be happier with the service we received from Ben! He made an aim to complete with 3 months and delivered! Ben was amazing from the outset, chasing solicitors, keeping us and the seller informed and made sure it all ran smoothly! Couldn’t recommend Ben at Leaders enough!

This is the worse acting landlord company ever. Left over 4 weeks without any means to cook. Left for over 10 days without hot water. Left for over 5 days without water.. hassled for rent with over 90 threatening eviction e-mails when the rent as already been paid each month. This is a company you need to give a wide birth... not recommended at all.

WE ARE SO GRATEFUL

Awful, just awful. Mistake after mistake has been made. Listen doroperty for rent at wrong price, twice! I have been charged for works that then haven’t been completed, then made to feel like it’s my fault. Monies that should have been taken from tenants deposit has been taken from my money, when I call to complain I am spoken too like rubbish. Staff are unhelpful and incompetent.all they are interested in is making sure they, and their contractors are paid, but the landlords who give them the platform to earn money are treated like dirt. 3 out of the last 4 months I haven’t received any rent. Staff don’t call back when they promise, they refuse to accept any responsibility for their mistakes.

Our overall experience with Leaders so far has been amazing. Great communication throughout the whole renting process which has helped it go so smoothly. We worked with Lorena from the Warrington branch who has been fantastic throughout and really helpful. Would absolutely recommend and we would consider letting with Leaders again in the future.

Me and my partner moved in to a lovely apartment, with the help of Beth! She did go above and beyond for us and helped us every step of the way. She really reassured us during the process.
We have had a few issues with the apartment, but everyone seems to be willing to help now.

If you're someone of colour and you are viewing a property with a young looking brunette girl, you ain't getting considered. GO ELSEWHERE!!

- I had a viewing with her on Monday 3 June at 2.50 PM
- be prepared to hear “I don't know” to every question you ask and see a stuck-up face looking like Squidward of Spongebob Square Pants
- she looked uninterested and unbothered yet her body language was so awful that you could read the room
- I felt racially profiled, and discriminated against in everything from my name and appearance
- She lied to my face several times, for instance, in her exact words “The landlord changed his mind”
- She made up a story that I needed to fork out £1400 upfront (ie £150 holding deposit, £500 the remainder of 1st-month rent and £750 deposit)
- she said that fast and with an attitude that’s how I knew it was racial
- a straight-up lie because that wasn't advertised on the website, or office window and even the printout she gave me on the day (see pics) did not state that
- she tried to deter me from the property but I have finances and her remaining tactic was to withhold the application from being sent
- another lie she told was "There's no rush take your time" to which I disregarded her words when I wanted to secure the property ASAP... clearly, there was competition and she proceeded to say "When you are ready email me and I'll send you the application link and you pay the holding deposit online"
the audacity of her to stand there and lie whilst looking at me and still going on with the charade
- she sabotaged my application and failed to send the link after I emailed her 1 hour after the viewing and 2 1/2 hrs before she left the office at 5:30 PM as she told me
- on the morning of 4th June when I was about to call to follow up, but I got an email at 9:13 AM saying the landlord had progressed with another candidate
- I never got the chance to apply.. what was the point of my viewing?
- what pisses me off is the fact I travelled from London and spend over £200 on short notice including paying a £100 train ticket 3 days prior and she was made aware of this over the phone
- why waste my time and resources if you weren't gonna consider me?
- IS THIS AMERICA? To be racially profiled, discriminated and denied an opportunity when I was polite, punctual, respectful and had credentials to be in the neighbourhood
- the triggering part is we are roughly the same complexion, that's what’s annoying
- she is a straight up hater who don’t want to see me a black man succeed
- If you are a black guy (mixed race) wearing a cap and carrying a backpack be prepared to be judged
- mind you I am 37yo mixed race and to be judged based on my appearance when I meet/exceed the requirements, have a 900+ credit score, have large savings, don't drink, smoke or own pets and work within the UK Government
- everyone in my diverse circle who I told confirmed that I was indeed discriminated against my appearance and racially profiled
- So if you have viewing with her make sure to bring someone to check her attitude or if you're alone record the conversations and you’ll see what I am referring to
- avoid this Mickey Mouse agent/agency cos you’ll just be another number to pass her time out of the office

I'm only giving 1star rating because the apartment and neighbourhood was nice, ideal for what I was searching and she purposely obstructed my opportunity to try.

It’s been a few days since my viewing and I am still mad at the whole ordeal

Lorena was great! I’m very impressed by how smooth the process was. I felt relaxed the whole time. She was great. I’d definitely recommend this letting agency for viewings. Lorena was the one to contact me with the opportunity for viewing, after someone had cancelled. She’d thought about getting in touch which was a touching step, she obviously cares about her clients.

She has supported me through the application process and stayed available to support me with every step. We had a trail of 30 emails and she replied to each and every one within 5 minutes. Amazing.

I recently rented a house through the Leaders Warrington branch and had an excellent experience. I would like to give a special thanks to Bethany Shovelton. From the start, Bethany was incredibly helpful throughout the entire renting process. She made everything easy to understand and was always available to answer my questions.

Even after I moved in, Bethany continued to provide outstanding support. When I had an issue with the property, she promptly helped me get it fixed. Her dedication and kindness made the whole experience smooth and stress-free.

I am a Landlord and Leaders manage my property in Warrington. Jane Healy is my principle point of contact and she takes the lead on all matters relating to my account. She has done an outstanding job and genuinely takes ownership of issues and resolves all the usual maintenance tasks that arise.

They left my partner and I in a flat riddled with mould for months, mushrooms growing in the ceiling and water from the above flats toilet / bath pouring down the bathroom walls. Roaches were constantly coming in through under the carpet and we often found mealworms on the bathroom walls. We reported the mould on a regular basis from August 2023 and as of moving out in May 2024, nothing had been sorted. They kept telling us that all they could do was report it to the landlords. On one occasion, they sent a contractor to repaint the bathroom which made the mould grow back tenfold within a week. We reported the issues again and contacted the landlords directly who were unhelpful and one of them really rude to us. We were told that contractors were attending the flat to fix all the problems, however on the day, two of the landlords friends attended to ‘inspect’ the property. We got extremely frustrated and told our property manager that we were being treated horrendously, to which she said she was no longer communicating with us and swapped us to a new manager.

At the end of tenancy we had to throw away almost everything we owned as it was covered with mould and damp including a wardrobe, drawers, clothes, books and toiletries. Its extremely disappointing to see that the flat has been readvertised with the same pictures they used when we first enquired about the property last year which is very misleading given that the pictures show no mould and an extremely neat garden which was significantly overgrown when we moved in and no gardener would touch it. When we handed the keys back in they requested feedback and when we mentioned all the issues, they seemed very shocked, as if they could find no evidence of it on their system.
