Absolutely horrendous company to rent from. Poor communication, poor response to maintenance issues, maintenance issues left unfinished. Most repairs that have been “completed” you wouldn’t accept if you were paying the mortgage. Just using bully tactics to rip more money from you as they can get.

Using Leaders to manage the rental of my flat has been one of the most stressful, frustrating and disappointing experiences of my life. My flat was completely refurbished and immaculate when leaders started to manage it. Over the past six years both tenants that Leaders have rented the flat out to have left the flat in a very poor state. Damaged, dirty, and costing in the thousands to put right. On neither occasion did I receive any recompense from the tenants as apparently they hadn’t left forwarding addresses. This is the only property I own, I rent it out currently as I’m a carer for a family member and live with them. I’m appalled by the service I’ve received from Leaders - repairs they commissioned were of such poor quality that I’ve had to pay to do them again. Complaints are not dealt with properly and communication is zero. If you’re a landlord who is happy to have their property and furniture trashed and destroyed and be treated like an irritation and don’t mind spending thousands of pounds to clear up other peoples mess then Leaders are the management company for you.

I have had the most awful experience with Leaders Southsea, I was due to move into one of their properties at the end of last month. We didn't get any update even when we call almost everyday to know how the process is going. Bear in mind we have made payments. We were told on the moving in date that they needed to fix something in the property and should take a week. Few days later we were told we can only get the key at 3pm on the new move in date. Now on the day we got another call to say the key won't be ready at 3 but 5pm now. So we have done from one week late, to 3pm and 5pm. No one is giving me any useful information and why or what the delay is about

Worst experience ever for a long term tenancy of 2 years !

Took deposit, declined rental, refused to return deposit. No valid reason.

Another branch once attempted to charge me to vet a guarantor. Despite the fact I was offering to pay 6 months ahead, for a 6 month tenancy. Absolutely mind blowing.

Leaders were very good at communicating with me from the start of the process to the end. Especially Adam and Dan he answered all questions and kept in contact. I would definitely recommend Leaders if buying and selling

My wife and I viewed a property a short while back, with Matt, from the Leaders branch in Southsea. He made my wife feel really uncomfortable. She was wearing a knee length skirt and v neck blouse, her uniform from work. We asked if we could view the upstairs of the property, he said, 'of course, after you'. Half way going up, my wife looked back down behind her, to see this Matt half bending down, to what she believed, was him trying to look up her skirt. My wife didn't say anything at the time, but I could see she looked very unhappy and uncomfortable. I also noticed when we came out and walked to our car, he walked to my wife's side of the car and carried on engaging in conversation with her, whilst she was getting into the car, it didn't seem like normal behaviour and looking back, my wife is sure, he was trying, again, to look up her skirt when she was getting in the car. I did notice him looking towards my wife's cleavage and legs on several occasions throughout the viewing, but just put it down to him being a misogynistic pig. Very unpleasant and uncomfortable experience. I'm just glad she wasn't on her own, as was the original plan, due to me working, but thankfully, I managed to get a couple of hours off work. Not the kind of behaviour you'd expect from an estate agents.
