Avoid zero deposits
I have had nothing but issues with the leaders branch in Bitterne. Starting the renting process was all okay with some members of staff very helpful. But once you’re in a property problems occur. Being charged for things that should be down to the landlord and trying to fight your case on this. The zero deposit option is the worst process to be introduced it just rips off the customers. Then when you try to appeal the process because this goes to a third party you get no help from leaders and everything is to favour the landlord. I have put in several complaints and just back and forth to different people. They don’t help you at all just give you the same answers. Moved out in February and still trying to get an appeal. Avoid at all cost

We are renting with them more then 7 years, they always been nice and helpfull

Just a big shout out to Aaron, who was very helpful and friendly whenever I called. He was always happy to help, answered all my questions, and made the renting process much easier.
The company was also very understanding and supportive whenever I had any concerns.

Aaron was our letting agent and he made a fantastic job, even after our tenancy start date and until the end, he was the most helpful and best touch of contact. Property manager was okay but not always helpful, where Aaron was always willing to help even though he didn't have to. Overall Leaders is good but Aaron takes it to another level!! Artem & Slava

Our experience with this agency has been extremely disappointing and stressful.

We informed them in advance about our intention to vacate the property, but received no response for several months. Later, they acted surprised that we were leaving - even though we had followed the proper process.

After our departure, they attempted to deduct unreasonable amounts from our deposit. For example, they claimed we had taken items that were originally ours (like our own potted plants) and used photos from a report that was made three months after we had already been living in the house.

They also tried to charge us for the grass being yellow - even though the check-out report was done three days after we moved out during a period of very hot weather. They mentioned there was some dirt in the house, but the agent started conducting viewings immediately after collecting our keys, and the check-out report wasn’t done until days later.

We went through a great deal of unnecessary stress and wasted a lot of time dealing with this agency. The overall service was truly disappointing.

We had Mia as an agent, she was absolutely lovely the communication was amazing I would 10000% recommend this company

We had a really good experience with Leaders Bitterne, especially Mia. She was always very responsive and thanks to her, we moved to our current home without any issues.

Leaders communication was good throughout the process. Friendly yet professional. Mia was very helpful & kept us up to date. Finding a property is a stressful time but Leaders made the experience much more manageable.

We must have been extremely unlucky. It has been a terrible experience. Tenants who were allegedly already known to Leaders and vetted, supposed to be non smokers. The tenants smoke so much that it permeates all the other flats in the building. Several serious issues including harassing others residents and storing huge amounts of stuff in a part of the building that does not belong to the rental. Leaders in Bitterne has done literally nothing to rectify any of it. Our previously beautiful flat and great relationships with neighbours have all been badly damaged by just one tenancy.

I had Mia Ellis handling my move and she did a great job. She always got back to me promptly, resolved any issues swiftly and was great at walking me through the whole process and keeping me updated at all times. Thankyou Mia !

Aaron was super helpful and stayed in contact. Issues kept things till last minute but he was very helpful with this. Do reccomend

Leaders have been fabulous in assisting us to find a rental property in time and appropriate for our family. Aaron has been helping us at each step to ensure everything goes smoothly and keeps us updated. Thank you so much to everyone that helped us move as pain free as possible!

dont care about tenants - just want your money - would avoid renting anything from these if you can

Staff are lovely(Aaron is an absolute star) would rightly recommend-very professional and organised,made the whole process so easy and straightforward.
