I have been buying wine from this company for many years,and am glad to say the takeover seems to have resulted in a seemless manor.the service and ethos seem to have very much continued which is very reassuring.
strong in en-primeur and opening offers.excellent liason.

Very well organised online fine wine company with excellent en premier & storage services.
It's lovely going to tastings & private dining events, meeting producers and experiencing wines, knowing it will be handled and stored by a dedicated, enthusiastic team.

Easy to use service with a personal touch
I love Lay & Wheelers Cellar Circle. They have good wines, they have knowledgeable advisors and they make win collecting fun.Will, our account manager, brings the personal touch as he knows the wines I am knowledgeable about, ones that are new to me, what I like to drink & collect.

Excellent Service
Been with L&W for a few years now and I have received excellent service from them. They contact me the right amount of time with offers that I would consider and if I don't want them there is no pressure. Nothing is too difficult and everything is very easy. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Should have done this sooner
One great reason to join Cellar Circle is the 10% discount in Majestic. I hadn't used them for a while, and had forgotten how knowledgeable, interesting amd interested the staff are. i've bought some excellent, reasonably priced wines with complete confidence.

An excellent way of increasing your wine cellar with fantastic wines from a very professional company.
I have been a member of Cellar Circle for a year and have been extremely impressed by the quality and diversity of wine offered by Lay & Wheeler as well as the expert knowledge and efficiency of our Account Manager, Paula. She is always will to offer excellent advice and we have not failed to be impressed by the quality of all the wine we have tasted. We look forward to tasting more of the wine we have purchased when it matures.

Simply the Best
I have been with Lay and Wheeler (via the Bin Club and all the other iterations that were acquired along the way) since 1990. This is a company that knows its onions about fine wine and good value wine. Over the years I have combined investments with profitable resales and I have successfully built a portfolio that enables me to drink great wines as well as trade a few to fund the next purchases. The advice and service are excellent, I've been to some great tastings in the City and I have never had a problem with withdrawal or the condition of the wines that I have stored for 10+ years. A great company with great staff who know what they are doing.

Tastings
I really enjoy dealing with my sales rep Paula Hunter, but I really don't understand why we have to pay in order to do wine tasting. I only say this because I do a lot of tasting at Liberty, FMV Enotria etc, I know they are industry tastings but I just can't seem to bring myself to pay so much for the tasting lay and wheeler organises. That is the only draw back on the service you provide

Thank you for your feedback. We are delighted that you enjoy dealing with Paula. Unfortunately, the reason why we have to charge for tickets to tastings is to cover our costs, we generally only just break about even. We would prefer not to charge for tickets, but we have to pay for the hire of the venue, staff time and travel expenses and in some cases the wines too as they are not always samples. We hope that helps explain why there is a charge.

Excellent service and a great selection of fine wines
Have been a Cellar Circle/Fine Wine Plan member for almost two and a half years. Throughout that time the service has been fantastic, they have managed to source specific wines for me and at favourable prices. I have particularly enjoyed the many tastings I have attended, it is just a shame they haven't been back to Oxford for a while.
The 10% discount at Majestic is a fab bonus!
I look forward to many more years of great service from all the friendly staff at L&W.

Delivery process to Majestic needs to be impoved.
Rebranding benefits of change to Cellar Circle obscure.
Emails from 'private client account manager' just before the general Cellar Circle ones seem of little point.

However, we recognise that we don’t always get things right, and are working hard to improve those areas you have highlighted. We have a new website redesign underway which is due to launch in February of next year, which we are really excited about. This will be in keeping with our branding of Cellar Circle so there will not be such a ‘gap’ between the current website look and feel and Cellar Circle. We have also noted your points about email correspondence and delivery and this has been forwarded to the appropriate teams.
Lay and Wheeler are a wonderful boutique wine seller
I have been a client since 2007 and have learnt much about wine since, guided initially by the selections of Lay and Wheeler's experts and subsequently by exploring the options myself.
I have enjoyed many meals with their wines and look forward to many more in the future.

Thoroughly enjoyed my year as a Cellar Plan guest
I have really enjoyed being a Cellar Plan member. I have spent far more than I anticipated but I am very much looking forward to drinking some of the wines in a few years and selling some off to pay for my investments!
